About this house rental
Our beautiful two-story beach house is located in a very peaceful neighborhood. My best spot is the rooftop balcony where I love to start my mornings by enjoying the ocean view and fresh breeze. It only takes a few steps to get to the beach at the end of our street. It feels like you have your own quiet beach area to relax. You can also take a short walk on the beach to the famous Cocoa Beach Pier for food, drinks, ice cream and other entertainments. Besides the Pier you can find other restaurants, bars, Publix grocery, Dunkin Donuts in a walking distance as well. The Cruise Terminals are 3 miles away.
Our 3,000sf 2-story home has a total of 5 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The main kitchen, one guest bedroom, one full bathroom, a dining room, a living room, and a laundry room are on the first floor. All other rooms are on the 2nd floor. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and a private balcony with a street view. Two other guest rooms with one bathroom are located along the hallway. A spiral staircase is also located on the side of the hallway. It is the only way to access to the rooftop balcony to see the ocean view. Last, the in-law bedroom is at toward the end of the hallway. It has its own private sitting room, a small kitchen, and a full bathroom. Our home perfectly gives more privacy for a large group that is traveling with grandparents or a group with 2 or 3 families, and yet everyone still stays together.
There are 2 single-door garages on the side of the house. One garage is our private storage. The other is accessible directly from the laundry room inside. Beach chairs and beach toys are stored here. Guests are welcome to use them. Cars can be parked on the garage driveway and on the front driveway.

Before considering renting this property, I strongly urge you to confirm with the owner that the HVAC system has been properly inspected and cleaned. During our stay, we encountered a pervasive musty odor throughout the house, which we initially attributed to the air conditioning being set at 78 degrees. However, the smell persisted, and by the second night, it became clear that something more serious was wrong.
We had guests who chose not to stay due to throat irritation caused by the air quality, and we later discovered black mold with visible spores in several air vents, particularly in the Mother-in-Law suite. This was confirmed by an ENT specialist in our group, who found the odor overwhelming and immediately removed her daughter and our granddaughter from the suite. This led to a shortage of beds for our guests and a couple left to find other accommodations.
When we reported these concerns to the host, we were offered a late check-out as a resolution, which was unacceptable given the potential health risks. The host later downplayed the severity of the issue, attributing the odor to a sink and claiming there was no mold. However, an HVAC expert reviewed the evidence we provided ( see pictures) and immediately identified the issue as mold caused by moisture in the attic, possibly from past roof leaks. He indicated that the entire HVAC system likely needs a thorough cleaning or even ductwork replacement to ensure safety. Host only offered a minimal $100 refund.

During our stay in Cocoa Beach, me and 11 friends were able to stay in this beautiful home!! We had the best time as this house was the perfect size for our group and had the ideal location so close to the beach and many dinner spots!! We walked almost everywhere we went. Vickie is an amazing host as well!! She is super easy to communicate with and she even let our group check-in early because we arrived earlier than expected. She is simply the best, and I am extremely grateful for her communication and flexibility. I highly recommend this stay, thanks again Vickie!!

Great Location! This was one of the best trips that my family and I have had. Vickie is a great host and communicates great. It was in a really nice location close to the beach and pier. Close to Publix. Good sized house with plenty of room and lots of space for all 13 of us. We try to do our summer family trips in different locations each year but this one listed as one that we want to do again one day. This is one of the best houses and locations we have stayed in. Vickie is a great host and communicates great. The house was very spacious and clean. It’s a short walk, about 2 minutes, to the beach. It’s close to the pier, shopping and dining. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Plenty of room, well equipped nice main area for hangout spot. Outside shower and nice garage to store all your beach stuff in and keep the main house free of sand. Hurt my leg right before we left and so was on crutches, still the walk to the beach wasn't bad even with surfboards and loaded down carts. Overall the house is aging as any beach house does but would recommend!!! Could easily accommodate 12 people or more with kids!

This property was very accurately described! The property had more than adequate space for 8 adults and was very centrally located to restaurants, shopping, beach etc. We were already talking about coming again as we were leaving.

Perfect for our extended family
Great location and worked well for 10 of us for a family trip for my son’s baseball tournament. Only negative (which was not a big deal because we made it work) was from the description we were expected 2 of the bedrooms to have a bed and a futon. Turns out the futons were both in the living area of the in-law suite.

Sunshine & Fun
This beachhouse was a GREAT choice for our families! Location is excellent - having kids range from 6 - 15 years old, it was great to be in walking distance to so many things! Our favorite tho- was the 1 minute walk to the beach! We enjoyed the rooftop view of the ocean, especially in yhe mornings. All the beach gear & chairs that are available in the garage was a bonus to have access too! I'm not sure what was more of a hit for us- the surf board or sand toys! :)
The house itself was clean & spacious! The in-law suite was perfect for the grandparent.

Everything We Needed & More
This property has it all! We had 3 generations on our 1st extended family vacation (14 people ages 60 to 8 months) & had plenty of room to stretch out. The house was amazingly clean and exactly as the listing posted. The host Vickie was so nice and wonderfully responsive. You will have a hard time finding a better location in the middle of everything (3min walk to the beach & 5 min walk to Cocoa Beach Pier). We had a wonderful time and have already recommended the property to other family looking to stay in the area!

Place was amazing.
Loved everything about this place. The master bedroom shower took long to heat up but the bathtub was the best. Wish the jets was working but I didn’t mind it. The place was amazing. The location was awesome. Everything was perfect. Would recommend everyone to stay there. Love it.

Everything You Need for a Beach Getaway
This property was perfect for our large group. We had 14 in all ranging in age from 3 to 70. The house was clean and had plenty of space for everyone. The showers were always hot. An easy one block walk to the beach. Vickie was great to work with after the original host sold the property and during our stay. She responds quickly and was extremely helpful throughout the process. The only complaint anyone had was the temperature - 72 was fairly comfortable for most, but upstairs was warm especially in the apartment space. The ceiling fans helped a great deal. The yard could use some attention and the house a coat of paint and updating, but those are things that can be done over time. Overall, it was the perfect spot for our group, and we were thankful to have found it.

Great location and great place, but need it little more cleaning
The place was perfectly located steps from the beach. The check-in process was a breeze. There could have been a little more attention to the cleaning. The Master bathroom was having sand and a used soap, and the kitchen at night was full of little insects. Lighting up the stairs was not working, which we communicate to the owner. Although she was quick in trying to fix it, it ended up not working our whole stay. Overall, was a decent stay with some minor hiccups that could be fixed for future reservations.

Fabulous Family Beach Vacation
Loved this vacation rental! Highly recommend this property. We were traveling with 9 adults and 5 children (3-10 yrs). We had plenty of room for everyone. We cooked in a lot of the time even thought we were close to restaurants and shops. This location was perfect. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Being so close to the beach and pier was one of the highlights of the trip. All of the beach boards, towels and sand toys we were helpful and appreciated. Vickie was great to work with. She was very attentive to our needs. Be sure to check the the launch schedule at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral. We had a perfect view of the SpaceX launch from the roof top as well as the beach. Never could imagine our vacation would have been this amazing!

Great location, plenty of room
One block from a less busy area of the beach, but still an easy walk to the pier / more crowded area. House is huge with everything needed to prepare some meals or relax. Plenty of space for a large family to not be on top of each other. Easy communication and check-in/out process.

Cocoa beach vacation
New owner who helped with a very stressful experience from previous owner who sold property after we booked. Vickie was very kind and worked through our reservation challenges. Beach is very close and within a short walk. House big enough for all 13 of us. We used every inch. House is quiet and having washer and dryer was very helpful. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas as well as toys and water sports for the kids. Kitchen stocked pretty good. Some of the lights were out Bar stools were great for the extra seating for when we all ate together. Thanks for the great time!
