About this house rental
Adorable, recently renovated home in town with a 3 block walk to the beach! Sleeps 10. Spacious backyard. Grill provided. Front porch (partially enclosed). Three bedrooms/1.5 bath - Main bath has a shower and a separate tub. Take advantage of the close proximity to downtown restaurants and shopping. Stop at House of Flavors for amazing ice cream. Take a hike on one of the many trails at the Ludington State Park. Watch The Badger come in at sunset. Walk the pier to the lighthouse. Watch the incredible sunsets from Stearns Beach! Have a picnic at one of the city parks or water spray park. So many things to do...a week won’t be enough!

This place was great. It's a very cute house, in a very cute neighborhood. You can't really tell from the listing, but the backyard is also really nice -- we spent a lot of time hanging out back there. Mark was also very attentive and helpful (thank you!). We're hoping we'll be able to make it back here most every summer.

The house is beautiful, very comfortable! The front porch and framed in portion of front porch were so comfy inviting. Mark was absolutely fabulous with communication and ease of check in process. Always available and response times were very quick! The house is on a very quiet street which is so nice in the morning and evening after a long day around crowds. Very walkable to beach and downtown. Would definitely stay here again!!

This was our first time vacationing on Lake Michigan and it was excellent! Communication with the host Mark was very prompt. And since we didn’t know much about the area Mark provided us a full suggested itinerary! We are a family of 6 with kids ranging 8 through 2. The house was clean and furnished well. We didn’t need anything. The older kids also enjoyed the foosball in the basement. The house is in an excellent neighborhood, a short walk to Stearns park/beach and to the restaurants in the harbor area to the south. While we could have walked we drove to both these places since parking is also plentiful and with a compliment of 4 younger kids this was just easiest for us. Sunset was around 10pm and definitely worth keeping our kids up for but walking home way past their bedtimes would’ve been difficult. We are Atlantic Ocean beach people but this trip definitely made us decide to come back to peaceful Ludington again for vacation soon. And when we do we would definitely stay at this house again.

The property was spotless, which is a must for me, the front porch was the perfect place to spend a morning, or afternoon, or evening for that matter. So close to the water, it made it easy to go to watch the sunset over the lake. The owner was very easy to deal with, so much so that I would stay here again in the future. Overall a perfect place to spend a few days.

The house was clean, comfortable, and contained all listed amenities. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to the downtown area and the beach quickly, the neighborhood was nice, and it wasn't difficult to find.

This property was amazing! Very cozy and had everything you could possibly need available including blankets, pillows, games, utensils, plates/cups, etc. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this location and this host. He was very friendly and very helpful when we asked for recommendations.

Make sure if you want people to start a load of laundry before they leave that you put it in with the check in instructions. Not great to find out that you want it done after the guys leave. It was an inconvenience to have to come back to do that.

Had a quick stay with just my son. Had everything we needed(kitchen, internet, space, entertainment, etc.). Also, very well positioned in town. I’ve not done a ton of these, but Mark was the most responsive host that i can remember. Would definitely return with the full family.

This was the perfect place to stay for a little winter getaway with friends. We went hiking at Ludington State Park during the day as well as a lantern lit hike at night. This place was great to come back to and eat, play games and sleep.

My husband and I rented this house with our two small children. The space was perfect for what we needed (separate bedrooms for us and the kids, room for the kids to play, separate bathrooms, etc!). The house was very clean, located right down the street from the famous House of Flavors restaurant, and close to so many other attractions for kids and adults (Children’s Museum, Library, Ludington Kid’s Clubhouse, Chalkheadz gymnastics place, downtown). Mark was also great to work with and was very responsive to any questions we had. Thanks for a great stay, Mark!

A very nice house in an amazing neighborhood. The front porch was the best. Perfect location to everything!! Had great food and good times. Loved the BBQ in the backyard as well. We will definitely be back

The owner Mark was prompt and helpful when questions were asked. The house was within walking distance to downtown and the beach. We had a great time hiking and walking down the pier at the beach to go up in the lighthouse. It was a great trip and I would stay there again.

5 friends came and stayed for a run near manistee. This house was a short drive to the start and even closer walk to near by amenities. Mark was very accommodating and communicative. Thank you!!

The house is VERY clean, well stocked, and spacious. The neighborhood is terrific within walking distance to the park and shopping. We were moving from another rental to this house, and Mark dropped off a cooler to us so we could easily move our food - above and beyond. After check in Mark messaged asking if the space met our expectations, which was great. Definitely recommend. Thank you!!!

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Lewis house. It would be even more enjoyable with a dishwasher and Keurig. Thanks Mark, for being an excellent communicator. We also appreciated being able to get into the house a little early.

The house is in a nice neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown attractions. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the nice porch and backyard. Plenty of space for two families. It has all of the things you need for nice stay.
We also had great communication with the host.

Great home base for adventures in Ludington, especially for large families/groups. Very few options like it. Close to everything. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen. We were especially impressed with the host, Mark, who was responsive and accommodating. We immediately grabbed the house for next year, same weekend.

My family and and friends have stayed here 2 years in a row for the Gus Macker. It is in a great location, short walk to the beach and downtown area. The property owner was incredibly easy to communicate with and very nice. Definitely recommend if looking to stay in ludington.

This was a perfect location and place for our Ladies’ 57th College Reunion! The home was spacious and comfortable for visiting, games, and meals. In a great neighborhood and perfect for our trips to the lighthouse, beach, Maritime Museum, and shopping. Close to many great restaurants too. This was my first experience with a short-term rental and I decided to book Mark’a property for my 23rd birthday. The house was beautiful, close to town/the beach, and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our family, including small children, my husband, and my mother, traveled to Ludington this past weekend for the Lakestride half marathon. This beautiful, charming home helped us to fall in love with Ludington. The house was immaculately clean, cozy, and adorable. The beds were all comfortable. The kids especially loved the bunk beds, and fooz ball table. Mark was very accommodating and helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. We literally parked our car upon arrival, and never had to use it all weekend, due to everything being within walking distance. We will definitely be back. ❤️

We loved our stay. Kids enjoyed the fenced in yard and the fooseball table. We loved being close enough to walk to everything, beach, dinner, ice cream, playgrounds, marina. The house was nicely updated and had everything we needed even a cooler and ice packs for our beach day picnics. We will stay here again! Thank you!

Was clean, spacious. Had most of what we needed (literally only thing I missed was a cutting board!) Was very close to the beach, nobody felt crowded, and it was just great.
