A great place for the Heritage Open Day weekend in Kings Lynn as central to the action.

Location and decor good.

Comfy cottage

The location was ideal, quiet and easy to find. There was a free parking place too, only a few minutes away. This was useful for my aunty who cannot walk too far. There was an area at the rear of the property to sit and even had an outdoor kitchen with a bbq and sink. The property was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and sofa. My aunty loved the duvet so much she's ordered one for herself!

Lovely stay in a lovely clean cottage!

We loved that they thought of everything, from the lovely garden to the yummy treats my dog enjoyed! It was my partner’s birthday and they went the extra mile to decorate the cottage to help us celebrate. We even had the chance to celebrate our engagement : )

Cosy, comfortable & convenient!

Walked in to the cottage on a very cold afternoon in January and after a longer than expected journey due to recent flooding we were welcomed with a tidy, cosy and warm home-from-home (the heating had been left on ready which was very much appreciated!) Location was brilliant - right around the corner from the centre but in a nice area of town near to ornate buildings which now house various Solicitor firms. Parking space in an enclosed and private car park nearby was convenient and we didn't worry about the car being left there at night. You will find that lots of little things that can often go under-provided: plenty of towels, toilet roll, shampoo, conditioner, blankets, tea bags etc, and the wi-fi signal was strong. We very rarely cook anything ourselves when we go away, but we did so twice here as the open plan living/kitchen and relaxing lighting made for pleasant evenings in. ** Just be aware that the little lane the cottage is on has a fair few people going up and down at times due to an old social club situated next to the Dock. You cannot hear noise coming from the social club itself, just the echo of people occasionally passing by. This kind of felt authentic though, as you can feel the workings and history of the cottage and the surrounding streets.

Honestly cannot complain about a thing!

Enjoyed King's Lynn and the cottage was nice but badly let down by the lack of care by the owners.

Great location. Cottage nicely decorated. Comfortable beds.

Given the wrong key box code and had to stand outside the cottage for 25 mins trying to contact the owners. They didn't answer the phone or respond to text or email. Eventually had to sign in to booking.com to contact them. No welcome or supplies (other than a few tea bags, coffee and sugar) in the cottage - not even a pint of milk in the fridge. The smaller of the two ovens very dirty. Sent a message to the owners to inform them and received no response.

Served our needs but wouldn’t recommend it again.

It was a very convenient location and somewhat decent apartment.

First, the owners were two hours late providing the code to the key box so we could access the apartment. They seemed very unconcerned until we contacted booking.com support who in turn contacted them. There could have been better attention paid to details. For example, the hand soap dispenser was empty as was the laundry detergent. The hand soap should be a given and if you’re providing a washing machine then it would be courteous to provide travelers with some clothes detergent. We ended up buying some and left it so for the next occupants this won’t be an issue. However, it’s not due to the care of the owners. The apartment also has a pervading musty smell. The outdoor space seemed nice but needs some attention to make it actually usable. The bathroom is quite cramped and the sink is over top the stairs ceiling which sticks out and you can’t avoid kicking it. The top of the stairs and the step up into each bedroom is also a concern when going from one bedroom to the other. We could see someone falling if not paying attention. The facilities also list a clothes drying rack but it was no where to be found.

Lovely place to stay, close to the town and the river. Will stay here again.

Location is excellent. Ferry Cottage was delightful - suitable size for 4 people for a long weekend. Stunningly presented.

we were unlucky, it was a very nice cottage

the location

when we arrived the property hadn’t been cleaned from the last people. spoke to Ben who arranged cleaners to go immediately but when we went back to the property 2hrs later, there was still someone else’s food in the fridge and cupboards, the property still smelt like wet towels upstairs and in my opinion hadn’t been cleaned to as good as standard as it should have been. the floor for instance was very dirty, my baby crawled across it and was filthy instantly. also the drain in the courtyard from the kitchen was blocked and had been for a few weeks so every time you ran the sink it flooded. I did message Ben about this but no reply was received.

A fantastic little cottage, centrally located and comfortable. Lovely little courtyard which I imagine would be great in the summer. Well laid out and tastefully decorated. Some nice places to eat a 5 minute walk away and appreciated the allocated parking spot.

It would be good to provide some non-metal cooking bits - a wooden or plastic spoon/spatula (they have plenty of metal ones) and perhaps a microwavable bowl with a cover. Other than that the kitchen is well stocked.

This cottage is lovely and located perfectly for anyone wanting to visit kings Lynn. it’s been beautifully decorated and was prefect for our family weekend away.

Small downside was the poor wifi connection that seemed to keep dropping out.

Very comfortable stay.

well developed and decorated. lovely comfy coda and open plan area. the courtyard is a great attraction with BBQ, fire pit and outdoor TV

the shower room is very small and the sink is positioned over the stair bulk head making it difficult to lean over the sink. I also managed to crack my toes on this obstruction so significantly that I couldn’t wear shoes for nearly a week. we would have liked to extend our stay but we didn’t receive an answer to our message for three days, by which time it was too late. A problem with the app was

Beautiful cottage with lots of lovely extra touches.

The cottage was very tasteful decorated . Lots of extras. The host had thought of everything. The outside area was a lovely bonus.

The central location wasn’t great with dogs. The narrow little lane outside could be noisy at times disturbing the dogs. Parking is a couple of minutes walk away.

unfortunately the morning after we arrived there were workmen unblocking the sewerage pipes. it was not very pleasant so we went out, there seems to be a problem with the kitchen sink as it makes a very loud noise when draining?

Relaxing and in a good location.

The cottage is tastefully decorated and is close to the river and old town. It is perfectly fine for a couple but would be a little squashed for 3/4 people. It has all that you need for a short stay.

Car parking is 5 mins walk away.

Wish I could stayed longer.

Very responsive owners. Loved the little hamper of cookies. Had oil, coffee and everything you need for the BBQ. Nice shower gels and towels. We loved the little backyard with the fairy lights. Would recommend to friends & family

Perfect for 2 friends who want their own room. Comfortable, tasteful and well-located.

Centrally located in Kings Lynn. Very stylishly refurbished with lots of little extras. Comfortable chairs and beds and a great little outdoor space.

One very small thing. I would have liked a brighter bedside lamp in the twin room so that I could read in bed. The lamp had a very dim bulb.
