Close to airport and a comfortable stay. A wonderful alternative to an impersonal airport hotel.

Location was excellent and the shuttle service to the airport was very helpful. Walking distance to dinner options.

Access to a Nespresso machine would be an asset.

The combination of the price and the location near the airport.

We needed a place for 12 hours stay during a short night between flights and The Lodge was perfectly suitable for that.

A great spot for us to lay our heads. Paul was most gracious, offering an airport shuttle.

Didn’t get to enjoy breakfast as we had an early airport departure. The location was perfect for a quick, overnight stay between flights.

Nothing comes to mind.

We would not stay there again

Very convenient location being so near to the airport and they offered an airport transfer for £25

Very steep steps up to our room, not great when you have luggage. Bed very high and not comfortable Room very small Breakfast in our opinion was not good value for money

The Lodge Stanwell Beautiful home and garden.

We loved this house it was a pleasure to stay there it was tastefully decorated. We loved the garden which was nice to have our coffee sitting on the bench. Paul the Host was friendly and very helpful in telling us about places we were interested in. Paul cooked us a great breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and we wish we'd had longer to stay. We went to Windsor Castle which was approximately 6 miles away from the house. The house is also near to Ascot.

I honestly can't find anything to dislike about the premises. I give it 10 out of 10.

Just fine.

Everything was perfectly satisfactory. Communication and the key hand off was perfectly acceptable. I liked the plants and the shower.

Everything was fine other than the fact that it was a bit dirty. The fan was very dusty - could have used a wipe. And there was dust/lint build up under the bed. Nothing a sweep wouldn't have helped. It's a very small space, so there's no reason why a more thorough clean shouldn't be possible.

Great Place to Stay When Flying from Heathrow

Very convenient for Terminal 4. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed comfortable. Nice and quiet for a good night's sleep.

It was a little to hard to locate the property especially in the dark.

Parking charge, could actually park across the road free of charge. Perhaps that should have been advised.

Beautiful room in a great location.

A beautiful room with comfy beds, high quality bedding and very nice tea bags etc. Our room was a little snug for 3 adults and a baby but it was absolutely fine for our 1 night pitstop close to Heathrow airport. Very easy to get to by catching the bus (bus stop is right outside the property). Paul was very friendly and really helpful.

No cot for baby could be provided.

Good option for heathrow flights.

Bed was very comfortable and owner was very accommodating.

Stairs are steep so be careful, owner assisted with my big case on arrival but I had to carefully and quietly manoeuvre bringing it back down when leaving at 3:30am.

Perfect for an airport stopover, with really helpful host

Great location for Heathrow. Paul went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Really useful to be able to leave the car during our holiday and use their shuttle service

Must be better choices than this near Heathrow.

Spacious room, nicely furnished, bathroom was clean and updated.

The sign for the Lodge wasn’t easy to see. We circled around with our Uber driver for several minutes before any of us saw it. Also there’s nowhere to go for a good meal in this tiny town - just a fish & chips place and a Chinese to-go (poor quality food).

Cute Lodge in great walkable neighborhood

I loved the location and the ecclectic style of the lodge. It was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Quick walk to food, pub, ATM, and store. Paul was very nice and personable. I would definitely recommend The Lodge Stanwell, and if I'm on that side of the world again, I will be going back.

It was exactly what I needed for my 12 hour layover in the middle of the night. Thank you!

It was such a quick stay that I was not able to enjoy the space as much as I would have liked. The bed was very comfortable and the space was extremely clean. The host was very kind and friendly, despite my arrival being very late in the evening.

I had difficulty getting hot water from the shower. There was hot water, but I was not able to figure out how to get it to work. I tried for 20 minutes to figure it out and because of that, I didn't have time to take a shower before I had to leave to catch my next flight. That was disappointing.

Convenient, comfortable and most acceptable with one shortcoming

Excellent value for money. Super breakfast. Everything that you would expect in a B&B.

The off road parking was technically off road .However, had I been aware of the exact nature of the parking I would not have proceeded with the booking. Also the property was difficult to locate and we needed to telephone for assistance.

Serene Property close to Heathrow

Paul was an amazing host, pointing me in the direction to get a decent meal not far from the Property. He also provided Airport drop off the next morning. The Wi-Fi was commendable and the TV stations were adequate

Finding the right Bus to take me into London from the property was a bit difficult. There was a bus stop not far from the property but I struggled to find the right bus to board. After taking a few wrong buses, and still being unable to find the right bus to take me into Town, I cancelled my plans of going out.

Fantastic extremely clean spot close to Heathrow with friendly owner!

WOW! I am a seasoned traveler and prefer to stay in local B&B/inn's. This is by far one of the cleanest and nicest places I have stayed! The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable I had slept in throughout my 10 day stay. Pillows were great too. The bathroom towel was so soft! There was a small fridge, hot water pot, cutlery, and toiletries in the room. The garden area is pretty and serene and has a small bench. I was able to enjoy the backyard and took a phone call in the sunshine. The Wi-Fi is strong and works in the backyard. Would be a great place to sit and do some work if needed. There was large window with beautiful plantation shutters.. the window also opened fully and it was nice to sleep with fresh air! Ownerr Paul is super friendly and provided some walking directions to two differebt pubs in the area. There is also a grocery store that is walking distance, although probably a bit longer than the furthest pub, which was a half mile walk. Paul provided a ride to the airport for a minimum charge and it was easy, quick, and efficient. I didn't get to try the breakfast due to an early flight but if it was anything like the rest of the place, I'm certain it would have been great!

Cozy and relaxing

Perfect place for a layover between flights. Super cozy, very friendly and helpful staff and we even got to have a drink at a local pub and enjoy some delicious Chinese food.

Amazing! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here. The lodge is very charming and Paul is an amazing host. We organized the shuttle with Paul to and from the airport and was stress free and efficient. Breakfast was delicious and Paul made us feel very welcome after a long flight. We slept very well as it was completely silent and the bed and linens are high quality! Highly recommend!

An convinient and homely feeling

Loved the comfiness of the room, deceptively spacious for one person and has all the facilities including good wifi. Also highly recommend the English breakfast it was AMAZING, especially that bacon! Sleep quality and general cleanliness level was also excellent, and the host Paul was very kind and helpful, even when I left without giving back the keys!

If anything I'd say the fan could run a bit stronger, it was quite a hot day outside and the fan didn't really help cool it down much. Also, the bus to go to heathrow terminal 5 was a bit infrequent, only once every 20 minutes, which was a little frustrating, but otherwise it was great!

Friendly welcome. Convenient location for Heathrow Terminal 5 - top tip, get the 442 bus - £2 each way (2023) and stops virtually outside Comfortable bed Quiet area Small but cosy room with everything I needed (except an iron)

Not a fault of the hotel, but the area is a little tired looking. No iron or ironing board in room Water pressure in shower was ok, but not what I have got used to at home
