Close to walk to the beach and park. Peaceful at night. Comfortable.

pleasant stay, comfortable house but lacking basic holiday home staples

location, space, and facilities available in the house

No wifi provided There was also no staples provided - staple supplies of accommodation - including tea, coffee, cooking oil, washing powder. There was a dishwasher and washing machine but no powders. Not enough toilet paper was left in the house for the stay and the number of people (7).

Very good

Good location, spacious and the long weekend when we stayed, we were only ones in the complex, so it was nice and quiet.

The stove top was so slow to cook on and it wasn't as clean as we expected on arrival.

Accommodation lovely. Caretakers a nightmare. Real estate agent aloof.

The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and had all the facilities a family needs to use while on holidays.

When we first arrived, we were approached by a woman who told us off for having our children playing in the back yard, to not bounce or throw any balls and that they should go play at a park down the road. Apparently this was the caretaker but she never introduced herself as such. Over the next week she became increasingly aggressive towards our children, telling off our 1 year old for banging a toy on the pool fence, kicking the children’s toys when they came under her fenced area, encroaching on our personal space, taking photos of the yard and the bins and tables with our possessions on them (when we were inside the property and she thought we weren’t there). The gentleman accompanying her was nice and didn’t seem to have any issues with us but his (wife?) was aggressive, menacing and extremely rude. This really put a dampener on our stay and we’ve never experienced this kind of hostility anywhere before. I doubt we would return and I would encourage the real estate and owners to have a firm word with the caretakers about their were and what their responsibilities are, hospitality, presentation and manners, at the least. If you have a family- avoid this place as you will definitely not feel comfortable or welcome during your stay.
