It was a really nice place to stay with an amazing view to wake up and go to sleep to!
We were welcomed well and friendly!

Beautiful view and comfortable bed.
A bit challenging to get to a restaurant after 6:30 pm. Not far from the centre of town but after dark it’s dangerous. Tried to walk up the highway but had to turn back and ended up eating our leftover picnic from earlier in the day. Come prepared with food as there is a full outdoor kitchen.

The location is amazing. Just the right distance from the noise of Puerto and safely nestled in a gated complex. The pool and waterfall are amazing. We'll definitely be back.

The location is very good. The layout is good. The bed was comfortable. The balcony view and fireplace were very nice !
The fireplace was a little smoky and we found a couple of long hair in the bed.
We did not spot the electric heater until the next morning so we were a little cold. It would help if the attendant pointed out where it is stored (under a table).
Also the pillows were pretty flat and only had covers that match the coverlet. So it did not seem like they would be washed after each use… proper pillowcases should be available to match sheets.

Lovely room, wood fire and view were brilliant.
Some more pre-info about local recommendations, navigation etc would have been a big plus

The views were beyond gorgeous, and the location was pretty perfect for what I was looking for.
The bed wasn’t very comfortable and there was a family of rats living in the roof that started squeaking around 6am every morning

Fireplace was nice, but you had to keep it small or the room would fill with smoke..
Loved that the TV had Roku, Netflix, etc….was not expecting that.
A little far from town….not a bad walk but a bit sketchy..

The location was absolutely gorgeous, far enough outside of town so it wasn't noisy, but close enough to be an easy walk. The view from the balcony was heavenly.
The mattress was VERY firm. I understand this is a personal preference and many people like that, but for me it was less than optimal. Also, it was windy, and the branches on the roof kept me up the second night.

It was a really nice stay, staff is very friendly and replied fast on WhatsApp for all our questions. Check in was efficient, the room was clean with a nice view and balcony. Its also close to the center of you don’t mind to walk for 10 minutes.
It was cold even with our clothes and all the blankets we had in the room and the heater.

I think this was the nicest room I have ever stayed in.

Unbelievably beautiful property and highlight of my month in Mexico. 20 minute walk from downtown but you can tuk tuk, I enjoyed the walk. Great shower which was always hot, room didn't get too cold, exceptional view and decent internet for the location.
Only downside was the fire smoked ALOT even when roaring. Maybe the chimney just need a sweep
7.0
The view was very nice. and for those who need it…the internet connection was equally impressive.
While I expected very basic facilities, it lacked a coordinated or traditional design aesthetic. I has a shared balcony with the adjacent room, which depending on your neighbors, can be a bit awkward for enjoying the view. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired, and the adjoining wall was paper thin.
8.0
the simplicity and magnificent views, being away from town but an easy walk to get to it
it would very nice improvement if the owners supplied kitchen with better pots and pans and some basic necessity like cooking oil, few spices, coffee, some tea …

Lovely place with excellent views of the mountains. Lots of blankets, a heater and a fire to keep you warm on the cold nights. Well finished and clean and the large windows were perfect. The owners were very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay.
A bit of a walk from the centre of the town. It's very cold in the mountains so having an outside kitchen was not ideal.

The room was stunning, on the side of a mountain with a perfect view in a rural and calm atmosphere. There was a fully equipped kitchen outside the room with everything we needed, a fireplace for lighting a fire that had already been prepared for us in advance, a balcony with the most beautiful view.
From a short distance from the room there were beautiful walking paths in the forest.
There is no safe
There is no management that you can contact immediately, the conduct was only through messages until the person in charge with whom we corresponded sent us his brother to help us....

I loved the view and the room was nicely decorated and clean. There was a kitchen outside our door and it was nice to be able to walk to restaurants and store without being in town.
the toilet was clogged, help came quickly but it created a mess. They did not mop the floor well, slushed around dirty toilet water so we used our towels to avoid touching the floor. The flu on the fireplace was either clogged or closed? The entire room smoked up so we had to leave the door and window open during the night and it gets really cold. I tried calling help but they would not answer. There was no coffee in the morning, seems wasteful having a kitchen without basic essentials for one night: coffee and creamer.

The room is warm and comfortable with a small nice balcony with an amazing view. It counts with everything you would need for a short stay and the staff is very friendly and warm.
It was not really a cabin, but a room, still nice and comfy.

Well equipped and newly built rooms, seemed better quality built than a lot of other places in San Jose del Pacifico. Great views over the mountains and log fire... a 10 min walk from centre of town. Very cute place.

The room was lovely, and the view just heavenly. Out of this world. The place was peaceful, it felt like a retreat. I was glad they gave me a space heater, because it is cold at night, and the fire wouldn't stay lit one of the nights.
The wood for the fireplace was pretty wet and green, hard to keep it lit.

Gorgeous room and view. And a fireplace stocked with firewood.

Great room with a fantastic view, a short walk from the main town. A balcony outside with some chairs. Nice warm blankets. They supplied a small fridge which was set a bit too cold. There was a kitchen outside the room, not great for early morning cooking in the chill, but it has some basics and we could make eggs. The town was just a 15 minute walk down the road, and there's a convenience store, and excellent restaurant, Huitzil, right across the road. The owner's dog was very friendly.
The fireplace was the biggest disappointment. The fireplace could use a grate, some basic tools (there was just a poker), and above all, dry wood. We had a decent supply of wood, kindling, fatwood, and 5 wet matches. I had to light the fatwood on the gas stove. Our first night was pretty smoky, once we got the fire going it just kept sizzling and releasing smoke, the wood was pretty new and not anywhere close to seasoned. In the morning we realized the hot water heater was switched off. We had to contact the host, who was quite helpful. Someone came and gave us more fatwood and a bunch of dry carpentry offcuts which burned well, and got the hot water heater started so we could shower.

we LOVED staying here - what a slice of paradise! the views from the balcony are unbeatable in the town. can’t recommend this place enough! huge room, big bed, handy to have the kitchen too

The property didn't offer breakfast.
We really didn't like anything about the property. It was so bad that we called another hotel in the middle of the night and booked a room there.

It was a magical watching the clouds and the sunset. Nice to have a fireplace.

The view was amazing, we enjoyed a lovely sunset and many singing bluebirds. The room was better then expected and was very clean. The little kitchen just outside our door was very handy. We ended up going across the road to Temazcal twice and only a short walk into town. We enjoy walking so didn’t mind.

Awesome cabin! Great location, surrounded by nature with a stunning view. It seems to float over the mountains through the clouds with the colorful sunset ahead. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Super nice outdoor kitchen, lovely dog max comes by sometimes:) Cozy bed. Fascinating fireplace. Spectacular balcony. A marvelous forest walk and enjoy.
A place of presence and psychological and spiritual freedom. Past is just memory and the future has never happened.

great view from the cabins and they are very well equipped.
entrance is hard to locate and a very narrow road to go down to the cabins. hard to locate in the dark.

Beautiful, cozy cabin. Great hot shower.
Comfy bed and beautiful views. Clean, nice
kitchen. Loved the fireplace.
Maybe write in the PDF that property is
40-50’ past Casa de la Alebrije Comedor
if coming from Oaxaca. That is a good landmark.

The cabin was clean and comfortable.
It is overlooking the mountains.
Carlos, the host was available by whatsapp. Very quick to respond and very helpful.
The picture and video directions to find the place were great.
It is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. I am a solo female traveller and felt very safe walking this in the daylight.
When i got there i was greeted by a beautiful women (?Maybela) who showed me to my cabin and came back that night to start a fire and checked in on me a couple of times... always with a smile.
It had hot water for showers and a outside kitchen.
