Good rooms, easy access to main roads but quiet, food was lovely

Nice comfortable room with tasty breakfast

The breakfast was very good

Although the evening meal wasn’t a part of the package we had this, we had fish & chips & steak & ale pie, the fish was overcooked & the meat in the pie was plentiful & tasty but the presentation could have been better & the pasty was undercooked.

Amazing place people and food

When we arrived we were greeted by Leo who was a lovely guy very helpful and nothing was to much trouble . The room was very clean and warm , the food was cooked by Daena which was amazing the pie is to die for and the breakfast set you up for the day .They both were so nice and made us very welcome , And we will be back next year if we can get a place as it is full up every night so get in quick . Thank you so very much

All good, does what it says on the tin.

Lovely clean room, very nice shower facilities, great breakfast.

Curtains are too long and cover the radiator preventing heat getting into the room. Quilt good be a bit thicker, I suspect it was a summer quilt?

Perfect! A great stop-off point for our long journey

Under new management - doing a great job!

Very lovely new owners - nothing too much trouble Lovely breakfast Plenty of space for parking Rooms are set back from the pub in the old stables......easy access, no stairs etc.

One of the most welcoming places I have stayed at.

I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The food was excellent, evening meal was a themed night and the place was packed and excellent value for money.

Apparently has has bad reviews in the past but is now under new management and I have nothing to complain about.

lovely place, very friendly landlord,

quiet little location, with lovely private chalet type rooms

cups in the room were dirty. when ordering meals they were out of a lot of things.

The facilities were tired could have been cleaner. The beds were passed their best. Little things missing eg a glass in the room the mugs couldn’t be washed properly. Bath towels were very small more like my hand towels at home.

an issue with the heating however quickly rectified and all was good
