It's a great house,especially the extra half bath off of the kitchen. However, it has a very bad roach broblem, and desperately needs to have the floors cleaned. And, it seems to us that the fridge is on its last leg. The house is designed well and is spacious. It just needs some TLC. The railing on the front sitting area needs to be secured as well.

We love coming to Beau's Home for our Holden Beach vacation. It is a beautiful home with a perfect layout for enjoying time together as a family. We love the open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living room all connected. The upstairs sitting room is a nice retreat if someone is looking for a quiet spot. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. And we loved the shaded deck for enjoying the gorgeous ocean landscape. This was our third year staying at Beau's Home.

Beau’s Home was beautiful with great spaces for both family & privacy. Had all the amenities we could have asked for! The view of the ocean was breathtaking from almost every room in the house! Close walking distance to restaurants, playground & splashpad for grandkids. Will definitely be back next year!

We love staying here! It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We loved being so close to the ocean and the view was amazing! Vacasa was quick to respond to any of our needs and their customer service was great! We will stay again!

We loved the space - four bedrooms plus 4.5 baths - for extended family. Appeared to have been recently updated with new carpet and paint. Showers were nice and clean. Furniture was plentiful and comfortable. Beautiful views from upstairs and downstairs, as well as convenient access to beach. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Met our needs. Very comfortable and GREAT location. Very clean when we arrived. Limited cooking supplies, but if you go out a lot when you visit is very adequate. The pots and pans great, silverware...could have used more. No crock pots, griddles, but we made it work. It is furnished and decorated beautifully. Very comfortable. Loved that the laundry was in it's own room and not one of the bedroom baths.

We always love our time at Holden Beach and this year was no different! The house was wonderful and so conveniently located. Many obvious upgrades to the kitchen and furniture. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved it!!! The home was decorated beautifully and tastefully and had all the amenities we needed for a peaceful and relaxing vacation! I have been coming to Holden Beach since 1974 and so far this is my favorite house by far! Loved the convenient location to the bridge! My only complaint is that it would be great to have the downstairs bedroom furnished with a king size bed, like the two adult rooms upstairs. But overall, it was a fabulous week!!!

Overall our visit and stay was pleasant. The furniture is older but cozy, reminds me when I was a little girl at my grandparents. Lots of lighting and seating to enjoy not only the house but also the ocean on the deck. I loved that there was a faucet and hose coming up from the ocean to rinse off the beach before entering the home.
A few negatives were as followed:
Unfortunately the fridge was not up to temp when we arrived so we had to throw some food and drinks away the next day because it didn’t keep them to temperature until the night before we were leaving. I dislike that you turn the fridge down because it takes forever to get cold and as a family we stopped and picked up milk for cereal and pop tarts. The milk had to be thrown away and new needed to be bought. Minor set back but still an inconvenience while on vacation.
While we were sitting on the deck cockroaches came scurrying across the deck making my husband scream like a woman.
The decks themselves are beautifully designed BUT the wood is warped in many places and splinters were unavoidable.
The gate to the ocean from the deck wouldn’t stay open, we were constantly having to prop it open or just close it to avoid walking into it.
If possible I’d clean up the path to the ocean as you walk between the dunes. They’re over growing into the path.
Like I said overall it is a decent place to stay and it was enjoyable, however, I’m not sure if we’d stay again. My husband and I were pretty creeped out by the cockroaches and constant foot splinters on vacation are not pleasant.

The house was roomy and comfortable. Great updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. Wonderful porches on both sides of the house. We would definitely rent this house again. It had everything we needed to enjoy our week at Holden Beach.

The size of the house was outstanding, so much room for everyone. Even though public beach access was next to us, you never would of known. The top bedroom deck was great and it was nice to have a front deck seating area, too. Can’t say enough about the bathrooms, very clean and updated. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had a very nice time at The Beau and would love to return!

We really enjoyed this house! Sitting on the oceanfront deck is amazing! The house is in a great location. The kitchen is huge. My only suggestion is to clean/replace the carpet and update the furniture in the living room (not for looks necessarily, it is just very worn and you sink when you sit on the couch.). The beds were great..

We had a lovely time staying here! Great location! Home was clean and stocked with all the necessities. We would definitely stay here again! We also had a good experience dealing with Vacasa. We had a couple issues when we first checked in and Vacasa did a fantastic job getting things fixed in a very prompt time span.

The view
We got the beach view/ access convenience we wanted. The house was bigger than what we needed but nice to have extra room. The outside seating was fantastic. The outside shower was wonderful for washing of the kids before taking a break from the beach during the day. The washer and dryer was great I was able to pack lightly knowing we could wash clothes. The living room furniture looked dated and dingy and frankly, dirty. It needs a thorough cleaning or replaced we mostly went outside to sit but it was a bummer to not get comfortable in the house. We also did not care for carpeting downstairs, not a good idea for a beach house but it seemed to be free of debris and vacuums were in closets upstairs and down. Over all we had a really nice time and plan to be back to this beach again. The kids had a blast the people were friendly and we felt safe. There is not a lot of big or new stores this is not a shopping friendly area or fancy restaurant type place which was fine by us. We felt this added to the relaxation and calm of the area.

For accountability.
I wrote a review on Vacasa but since strangely it wasn’t posted I’m writing this review for accountability. I preface this review by stating the property management received my complaints And issued a night’s refund. If you have any issues with the property, you must directly reach out to the property and there is no point in responding to vacasa when the message you to see how your stay is going as this doesn’t get forwarded to the property management group on Holden Beach.
The pros: the location of the house is very nice. It’s beachfront, the deck is great. We enjoyed the location and view. The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely stocked and very clean.
The cons: There is carpeting throughout the house and the carpet is heavily stained. It was actually quite disgusting. The living room furniture is old, worn, and stained. The throw pillows are decrepit.
The mattress in the back bedroom upstairs smells horrible. There is a foam mattress topper on it and the mattress is very old. The pillows throughout the house are stained yellow, extremely lumpy and also seem to be quite old as well. The spare bedroom with the twin beds have mattresses in them from 2009. There are stains on the throw pillows in that room as well, as they don’t appear to be washed ever either. The mattress pads need to be replaced since they don’t seem to be washed between visits.
I cannot understand why rentals insist on the renters stripping linens if they are going to leave old and gross mattresses and pillows to be discovered by the people paying to stay there.
I hope this review gets visibility and this property can get some extra love. If not be sure to bring your own pillows and house shoes.

Perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed Beau’s home. Our family had plenty of room and the house was well appointed for meals and playing. Right on the beach and perfect views from throughout the house.

Great views & comfortable home
We came for the oceanfront view and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed spending time on the deck watching the ocean from the swinging chair. The house is cozy and the beds were comfortable. Great location in Holden Beach!

Excellent Getaway
This house was excellent! It was just like the photos and had what seemed like newly remodeled bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you needed. Bring K-cups for the coffee maker and some additional trash bags, but otherwise, it has plenty of amenities if you plan to cook - even a crockpot. It's right on the beach with 2 decks for plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy the ocean. It's close to a couple of restaurants and a very short drive to Food Lion and Walgreens.

Worth every penny
This is a big house with 5 (!) bathrooms that is also RIGHT on the beach. There's an outdoor waterhose and an outdoor shower after you get back from the beach. There are two porch areas facing the ocean and another porch facing the street. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans, silverware, glasses, etc. The beach was quiet. There were a few families, but nobody was loud or obnoxious, and there wasn't any loud music playing, which was nice. There weren't any beach chairs at this property, so be sure to bring some if you can. Overall, this place rocked and was perfect for our family.

Great house in great location
House was very spacious. Having 3 bedrooms with en suites made traveling with other families easy as did the extra living area upstairs which was immediately taken over by the younger generation. Lots of space inside and out to get away when you need to. Upstairs porch could use more seating. Hope to return to Beau’s.

Spacious house, clean, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. It is near a walk in public beach access, which means there are a few more people on the beach here than in other homes we’ve stayed in at Holden, but this would not be a dealbreaker for us. Holden beach is still never crowded. We had some communication trouble with Vacasa when they took over for another company which was never fully resolved. The house itself was wonderful and we’d definitely book it again!

Great House
The location was good, the house had 4 bedrooms with a private bath for 3 of the bedrooms & shared bath for 4th bedroom, the house had a great layout, inside looked fresh and recently updated. The 2nd floor game room/reading room was also a great space. The outdoor shower with both hot & cold water got a lot of use, also having a hose on outside walkway from beach was a very good idea. We loved the sea theme decor. Would like to stay here again if we come back to Holden Beach next year.
