The property and home are very nice. Great neighborhood. Very convenient to shops, breweries, restaurants and main roads. This property is managed by Evolve. Was not impressed with the communication, especially before our arrival. This house has a distinct odor, maybe from previous pets, that was very uninviting. The house lacks essentials for cooking. For amenities, little things you would expect were not provided. No garbage bags, coffee, hand soup, shower gel, shampoo…had to purchase our own. Overall not impressed by the management of this property by Evolve and wouldn’t rent another home under them again.

I checked in but did not stay. The odor on lower level of two story house was repugnant to me and my mom. The bedrooms appeared to be clean The kitchen and living room were very small. If a person is looking for an alternative to a hotel room and not a vacation house, this may be adequate if the smell doesn't bother you.

Beautifully furnished 3-BR house with all necessary items for a comfortable stay. Bed toppers were great. Didn’t access the backyard due to bumble bees around the property- perhaps it’s the time of year. Seating for meals is limited to 3 in the small kitchen so a table in the back with shade could be nice . Fun neighborhood but unfortunately nothing in walking distance. Breweries and restaurants a 3-minute drive away, though. Overall, great house and I would definitely stay there again!

We were in town to be close to Duke Raleigh Hospital where our daughter had surgery. We wanted a place to relax that was in a quiet neighborhood and this house was perfect.

good for what we needed

good for what we needed

nicely furnished but the linens were overly scented, pillows overstuffed. top dishwasher rack broken, refrigerator not very clean, and kitchen needs work. No real extras like we have had in other places. However host receptive when we called that that wireless password was incorrect. Bottled water would be nice touch as city water is awful and no filter on refrigerator.

A girls group planned a weekend getaway for a birthday and this little house was perfect! The decor was cozy and welcoming. The property was conveniently located to an abundance of eateries and shops. If we plan any future outings in Raleigh we hope to snag this little gem again!

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and the house was quaint and nicely decorated. The neighborhood was cute and close to everything. The house is old and a bit worn, but had what we needed. Backyard is cute, but mosquitoes are aggressive.

This house suited my family (kids ages 13, 8, and 6) very well for a weekend stay in Raleigh. It was clean, had plenty of linens, comfortable beds, kitchen essentials (and some thoughtful non-essentials like travel paper coffee cups too), laundry, and grocery stores nearby. The check-in process was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again!

The home was very clean and well kept. It was spacious enough for me and my family. The area the home is located in was quiet and peaceful. The only small critique that I have for future is to have working outlets in the bedrooms. My husband and I had to share one outlet to charge our cellphones, iron, etc. Otherwise great stay.

Convenient access to downtown, restaurants and night life. Immaculate and nicely appointed. The owner invested in high quality beds and bedding - as nice as a fine hotel, and much appreciated. We will choose this house the next time we visit the area.

Adorable, safe and well situated

This is an adorable little house. We stayed here while house hunting and it is right in the middle of everything. Very easy to get on the highways or to get to any part of Raleigh. The house fit a family of 5 very comfortably. The beds are extremely comfortable. The house was immaculate and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. There are a few nice little brew pubs/restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed checking them out - and they are family friendly. If we need to stay in a rental in Raleigh again, we will definitely try to book this place first. It's a fantastic space!
