About this house rental

"Amelia on my Mind" is a newly, renovated beach house with all the amenities for an amazing vacation. This home is situated across the street from the beach (approximately 100 steps to the beach). The screened in back porch provides an entire outdoor area for lounging and dining in your own quiet space. The backyard provides a large area for teens and children to play yard games such as corn hole and croquet. The separate patio area has Bluetooth outdoor speakers, a patio grill, chaise lounge chairs and overhead cafe lights for relaxing at night.
The open floor plan kitchen has a gas cook top on the island and everything you need to prepare fun meals. The kitchen has a bar with seating for four and a separate dining room furnished with a farmhouse table to seat six for family dinners. A high top table that seats four in the living room provides additional seating for meals or for board games.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed and the master bath has a separate walk in shower and tub. The guest room has a queen bed. The bunk room has two full beds over two full beds. Each of the bunk beds have outlets for charging devices and reading lights. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. The living room and all bedrooms have large screened TVs with DirecTV, Netflix and internet included.
Four parking spots are available for guests as well as a washer and dryer. Three beach cruisers, beach toys, wagon and beach chairs are provided for your use. We also have a ping pong table, corn hole boards, croquet, board games, coloring books and adult reading all at your disposal.
Our beach house is close to downtown shopping and restaurants, to Publix and Walmart, and a little over .5 mile bike ride or walk to Fort Clinch State Park.
The Atlantic Recreation Center is a mile away and has a community pool and kiddie pool that is open during the summer months. Daily admission is $3 for City residents and $5 for Non-City residents.

House was as described. Everything was clean and owner had great communication. We had to cut our stay short due to the hurricane but would definitely rent this property again in the future.

The house was perfect. We did have an HVAC that was acting up a tiny bit but the property manager responded quickly and resolved it as fast as he could. The house was clean and the location was great. Just a note to anyone with small children: the beach access closest to the house does have about 7 steps up to the boardwalk and back down. So if you are a wagon/rolling cooler family just consider it has to be carried up and down those steps to access the beach. Overall great comfortable house and location.

Jennifer’s home was absolutely beautiful!! I have a crawling baby so cleanliness is very important and we were very very impressed with how clean the entire home was, top to bottom. She has everything you could need there. The bunk room was a hit with our toddler.

The house is even more stunning than the pictures! Plenty of parking & great back porch & yard, plus the garage with a ping pong table & cornhole boards, etc. was icing on the cake. & you can’t beat the location! Would definitely book again!

Our week on Amelia Island was fabulous! The house was perfect for our group: grown children with their significant others. So much space.. beautiful… comfortable beds.. screened in porch was a plus.. bikes… convenient location .. close to beach and bar.. 100% would recommend this house !!

This was our second time staying here and it was absolutely wonderful!!! Pictures are exactly how it looks in person! Well stocked, location is perfect!! Walk across the street to the beach!! Close to downtown! House is so roomy and all of the beds are very comfortable!! Kids loved the bunk beds!! Highly recommend!!

Clean, spacious and well equipped! Having bikes there to use was a real plus. Kitchen had everything we needed. Right across the street from the beach and less than 2 miles to town. Highly recommend this property.

Our young family had a memorable Christmas stay and really enjoyed the property and great location to the beach. Plenty of shells on the beach (short walk from the property) and the home is nicely appointed with games for kids in the garage including ping pong. The host had great communication and even helped with a couple items we left behind.

We booked this home over the Thanksgiving holiday. It's a great option for large and small groups - lots of indoor and outdoor seating and very comfortable beds. Everything was so clean and neat. We especially appreciated that bikes and beach toys were available to use along with everything we needed for cooking and eating meals together. Truly felt like a home away from home! Perfect stay.

Very beautiful and clean property, lots of space, loved the one side where my daughter and son in law could sleep close together with their 4 children and have their own bedroom. I have stayed yearly at beach houses but this one I do have to admit takes the cake with available parking.

Property was in excellent shape and extremely well stocked . Some issues re water pressure caused by broken sprinkler head in back yard and A/c very very noisy which woke people up at night . A bit too far to walk across road to beach access for older adults

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Amelia island! The house is even more beautiful than pictured, with super comfy beds and all the amenities you could need. It is not beach front but is a very short walking distance to the beach. It’s also less than 10 minutes away from most restaurants. We ran into one small issue the last night of our stay and the homeowner handled it immediately. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Amelia on My Mind. The spacious house was beautifully and comfortably decorated, and it was the perfect fit for our family. We loved the convenience to the beach and all the little extras the house had to offer, from the ping pong table to the beach wagons to the screened porch with outdoor furniture. Jennifer was a friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at “Amelia on your mind” was phenomenal. The house was well stocked, clean, pretty and so close to the beach. We spent time in the screened in patio area, backyard playing cornhole and in the garage playing ping pong. Jennifer was readily available for our questions. We did end up walking around the condo property across the street to go to the public beach access rather than through even though there was beach access there right in front of us as it was a private property. Still a very quick walk. The place next door is being built so we did hear hammering at 8am some days, hopefully that will be done soon. Also the master bathroom does not have a door so whomever else is staying in the other 2 rooms has to share the one other full bathroom. This is just information - not a complaint because I would still highly recommend this beautiful beach house!!

We had a wonderful stay at Amelia on my Mind. The host was very nice and responsive to our needs and questions. The house is much larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the meals that we prepared at the house and the location is close to restaurants and stores and most importantly the beach. The living room furniture is a little different than pictured. The rest is the same. We especially enjoyed sitting on the large screened in porch in the morning and evening.

Me, my wife and two kids (1 and 5) stayed here for a short weekend and loved everything about this place. Every inch of the interior is remodeled and beautiful and our girls loved the bunk beds. Beach access was directly across the street and there were wagons and beach toys in the garage that came in handy for the kids. We would 100% stay here again.

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette party, so the bunk room was ideal! The girls loved the bunk room and said the beds were very comfortable. The screened-in porch and backyard space were great. The living space is bigger in person than I expected from the pictures! I would recommend this property!

This house was just as pictured!! Close to everything, and walked to beach morning and evening!!! Well equipped with bikes, beach chairs, wagon, corn hole, board games, kitchen appliances!! It was very open and airy!! We had the windows open to get a nice breeze!! Plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 teenagers!! They loved the bunk room!!
