About this house rental
This cabin is a ski in, ski out property that is located in the center of Tamarack ski resort. It is three levels with a huge deck and outdoor fireplace for enjoying the outdoor space any time of year. Master suite is on the top floor for extra peace and quiet while the bunk room and movie room is in the basement. This cabin offers a full kitchen with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with plenty of room to sleep 12 guests.

This is a beautiful home in a great location. The hot tub was amazing after a day of skiing. My only criticism is that there is very little parking for a 12 person condo. Also, the lift to ski out of the condo is down for the season. It would have been nice to know that prior to arrival so we could have scheduled transportation. We would definitely stay again though!

We’ve been coming to Tamarack annually over the past decade, and this is the best place we’ve stayed! It was very clean, well-maintained, and communication with the host was fantastic!! We highly recommend it!

Great communication with owner, quiet neighborhood, cute decorations. Had a few technical problems and owner responded very quickly. Overall great stay! Place could use a deep cleaning like most places at Tamarack but we know it’s the mountains and still overall very pleased with the chalet . Beds are very comfortable. And the deck is amazing . We look forward to staying again .

The owner was also very responsive and accommodating when we had to reschedule due to COVID. The deck was great and had shade all day long. You sat amongst the trees and it was very quiet and private.
My constructive feedback would be: 1. there weren’t any rails on the top bunks of the bunk beds, which made us very nervous for our children to sleep on. Fortunately there weren’t any accidents. 2. There is wasn’t any fire wood when we arrived. Some was delivered on our last night but it was so wet it only smoked. 3. The air conditioner seemed to need some work. It was inconsistent is cooling the house. 4. The hot tub was unusable as it was covered in large ants, and even though it was serviced our first night, it was quite dirty.
That being said, Many of the homes at Tamarack struggle to maintain their properties in the way you would your own home, so these things wouldn’t stop me from renting here again per se, but it’s good to know what you’re paying for.

They even started making lunch on our front porch steps about 20 minutes into our stay. When we first arrived, a guy was there to fix the hot tub and just walked through the house without introducing himself. There should be some communication between the landscapers and the property management so that when guest are staying they are respectful of the people paying a bunch of money to no get earth blown all over them while trying to enjoy the hot tub.
