Pleasant

The place in which the hotel was located was convinient for moving around. The staff was friendly and chatty.The room was small and cozy.

The room was not the cleanest one I have ever been, not something super annoying but it needed some more attention The biggest problem was the bed that was on an ankle, propably it missed some planks in the feet area so it was a little bit uncomfortable.

Great little hotel with everything you need. Good price, including the mini bar! Just right for a short trip and central to everything you could need.

really good value for money, clean and friendly, and if I’m in Rhodes again I will stay again.

as a solo traveler it was perfect for me, very clean, nice breakfast and towels changed every day. staff on front desk very friendly and welcoming. I had a great view of the pool and lots of sunshine in the room until sunset.

bathroom pretty small, shower was powerful enough but water went everywhere. noise of pipes but really that’s all I can think of.

Good value for your money

It was a loveable family hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating, including the cleaning ladies, Debby and Maria The breakfast was delicious, the bed comfortable,. As to the location, the hotel is in the center of a tiny settlement: therefore the beach, the shops, the bus stop, everything was very close. I liked the attached swimming pool as I preferred the pool to the rough sea. and rocky beach. T

The evening lighting in my room was rather dim, the bathroom was a little smaller than expected.

if your looking somewhere rough and ready literally somewhere to put down your head go for it

nice reception and good location rooms are not nice with a tiny room and it’s not clean the bathrooms are rotten with a curtain as a shower screen

the dirt in the bedroom and the size of it looks totally different in the brochure pics

The hotel is very close to the sea,just across the street and also close to the stores and restaurants.The staff was extremely nice.Everybody was helpfull and smiling.

The breaksfast was good,it has everything you need.Just as a suggestion they should do a little change from time to time.Maybe 2days with normal cheese,2 days feta cheese.Just a little change from time to time woul be great for the diversity of food.

Nice hotel in Rhodes

Nice hotel, good breakfast and very helpful staff. I arrived early and got into my room straightaway. Pool access was a big plus. Rooms were dated, but clean.

My room was on the ground floor, so noise from reception was slightly loud at times.

Unfriendly welcome

Near the main street. Close to a good restaurant.

Can't park your car outside, as the street is narrow. You have to find a place for the car yourself somewhere high up on the hill. Wanted us to pay for the tourist tax again, despite already payed. Roof view of the cafe instead of paid sea view. Cramped shower with sticky drapery. Very noisy all night, very close to reception. Just ok breakfast. Bad internet.

Needs some improvement

The location is amazing, in front of the beautiful light blue Ixia beach and close to many 4-5 star hotels and exclusive bars and restaurants. Price point quite good for the location. The neighbour hotel pool area that is shared is very nice with many seating options, good food, clean pool and bubble pool. If you cross the street and buy drinks at the Villa di Mare you can access their luxury pool area and bar. The rooftop is not very decorated but nice and the building is clean and renovated. Nice minibar.

The standard at this 2 star hotel is more like a motel or b&b. Decor and interiour are cheap. The receptionist seems very confused about everything. Security and handling of valuables should improve. Breakfast is ok but toast and nescafe was dissapointing. AC can't be turned of or lowered by the guest and blows right on the bed. If they would improve these things it could be great. The price is not that low in high season to ignore these things.

Warm friendly staff in a very good-value hotel situated in an excellent location.

This is an exceltionally good-value hotel. The staf are fantastic: everybody was so warm and friendly, from the owner (an ever-smiling, charming woman) to Maria, the restaurant manager who couldn't do enough for you and was so warm, friendly and professional, to all at reception including Felicia. I appreciated all the top tips Maria provided me with to see the best of the island. The owner was celebrating her birthday during my stay, and gave me a lovely slice of chocolate cake to enjoy at the end of breakfast.

I found no fault with anything.

My visit to Rhodes. 19th - 26th september 2019

I enjoyed everything about my stay. Both ladies on reception are lovely and very helpful. Especially on my last evening thanks for all your help Lisa. I would suggest staying at the filmar again. The hotel was in a great location, the food was nice, the rooms were very good and were cleaned every day. I can't fault the filmar hotel at all.

Staff very friendly and helpful Margarita on reception was a little gem , breakfast was a decent selection of food and the use of hotel next doors pool was brilliant
