Amazing - stay here if you’re in S. Oceanside

I loved that the rooms were setup like studios and they were so clean and bright! The staff was responsive and it’s located a walk away from some great places to eat.

Modern small room with a cozy atmosphere

Very friendly staff! The room is nicely designed and modern. Extremely cozy atmosphere as well. The staff found out we were staying here for a special occasion and gave us a gift, so awesome!

Only 1 window that can't be opened due to it being too visible to the public

Nicely designed hotel. But there are some glitches listed above in my comments.

the room design

The check in didn't work :( I had to wait for a staff member to come and give me a key to unlock the door. It wasn't a good check in for me. Also, I need to leave my luggage somewhere on the property for a couple of hours. The ice room and passcode option given to me didn't seem secure to me at all. You need a better option for storing luggage.

Fun weekend getaway!

Very nice stay. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes. Room was fun and clean. A/c worked great, shower was nice and hot. Loved the partnership they have with other local businesses, welcome beer next door and coffee and donuts in the morning were really nice. No front desk but staff wS very quick to respond to messages.

1.The room was so close to the street 2. The bathroom door would get stuck when you open or close it. 3. In the pictures and even when I did the reservation it said there is a private out door furniture, all others room have private out door setting. except room 11 which was our room.

The room has no upper floor, this is a bonus as no upstairs foot noise. Walls are brick, another plus on the noise levels. Parking is located right beside the cottages for easy access. Place was clean and A/C was good.

Lack of table and chairs, even a small round table with a couple of foldable chairs would have been great. There is an iron, which is a plus but no ironing board. Would have been great if the blinds had 2 shades, sheer and blackout. Right now it only had blackouts which is good, but because the windows are low, privacy needed them to be closed all the time. If it had a second sheer layer, one could use the sheer to let light in but still have some privacy during the daytime.

Very nice place with just a small hiccup of an inconvenience.

Easy to check in. Very spacious and clean inside. Ample parking, and the color of all the houses was cool. Inside everything was clean with a complimentary bottle of wine to share. Very thoughtful. Overall a great experience.

Inside the room, they have a Marshall Bluetooth speaker for guests to use. We were listening to music, moderate volume, around 9pm. We had a next door guest knock on our door asking us to turn down the music. It killed the vibe, and I didn't realize the walls were so thin.

We couldn’t have asked for a better and cleaner place to stay!

The location was amazing as we were able to walk to coffee shops, beach and many food options. They had bikes, surf boards and a hot tub with a seating area that made the experience even better!

Amazing Stay…We Will Be Back!

Our stay here was amazing, and we will definitely be back. We stayed in Room 9 which is right outside the courtyard with an adorable wood basin style hot tub, nice amount of seating, and a nice fire pit that we made use of every night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well. Even though the property is on PCH, the rooms are very well insulated and you can’t hear a thing. We didn’t hear any neighbors either, probably the quietest room we have ever stayed in. The room had a small fridge which was adorable, there were snacks available for purchase. a Keurig, and cute retro finishes. The owners were very communicative and friendly. they provided coffee on some mornings and offered late check out for us. We loved that we bring our dog, the hotel is very pet friendly. There are also bikes and surfboards to use if needed. The location is very nice as it is right in the middle of downtown Oceanside and Carlsbad Village. It is an easy walk to both locations and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beach at Cassidy St. it all rocks, so travel down further if you would like a sandy beach. Everyone around the location was so friendly and there is a cute grocery store right across the street. Parking is ample and off the street which is a huge plus. We will definitely be back for another stay!

There were a few things that were more of an inconvenience than a dislike. The bathroom didn’t really have anywhere to put toiletries and the lighting in the room was pretty dim as there is not a lot of natural light coming into the space. The room had four large drawers in the closet area but two would not open and one was full of items for the room, so there was not a lot of space to put away clothing. The nightstand drawers were also full of items so those couldn’t be used either.
