Nous n'avons malheureusement rien vu puisque notre hôte ne nous a pas attendu et ce sans nous avertir. Après un vol qui a eu 1h de retard et du zèle du loueur de voiture nous sommes arrivés après 22h et malgré les messages faits pour avertir du retard, on nous a laissé avec 4 enfants attendre jusqu'à 2h du matin sans aucun signe de vie. Nous accusant même de rentrer de force dans la propriété alors même qu'il nous avait été indiqué que notre arrivée était attendu. Bref. L'endroit et l hôte sont peut être très bien mais surtout n'arrivez pas en retard ! ( demander bien au pilote de l'avion d arriver à l heure !!!)
L'irrespect de l'hôte ainsi que le mensonge à notre égard en nous accusant d avoir forcer les lieux et d'avoir abîmé le matériel ! A 2h du matin quelle autre solution avions nous pour sortir de la propriété (nous avons ouvert à la main un.portail électrique) poir aller chercher un hébergement qui nous accueille à 2h du matin.

Very adequate for short stays.
I want to stress that the owner, Carlos and his property manager, Gaby were FANTASTIC, quick to reply and very helpful with information. Carlos recommended a great car rental place and Gaby picked us up at the airport and took us shopping (extra fee but very reasonable). The beds were comfortable and it was in a quiet gated community. Nice pool, seldom saw anyone in it but was clean and inviting looking. A play area for children too.
Although the home has a kitchen it's not well equipped but Gaby did borrow a corkscrew from the staff at a neighbouring mini mart. However, we were just overnighting before heading to Isla Mujeres so it wasn't an issue, we didn't require a functional kitchen. Note to Carlos and Gaby.....we recommend sufficient bathroom towels, paper towel, coffee filters, cleaning supplies (dishcloths, soap etc). More attention to small details would be appreciated by guests but overall a satisfactory experience.

Great for living amongst local people and seeing more of the city
That it was in a gated community with security It was spacious for three people with a room each That it had a bathroom and a second toilet The gardens were well kept Authentic residential living away from the tourist zone. Gabriela was very helpful and nice.
The dogs next door were noisy they woke us several times a night. The property is 14+ km from the hotel zone and the taxi prices vary wildly from 260-900 pesos for the same trip. Uber is more consistent but even they can vary at busy times. There was no hot water for the last two days, or gas to cook on.
