An adventurous accommodation.

The front desk was helpful and honest. They gave me some orientation that my room was located at the top floor and there was no elevator. The front desk answers queries on directions very thoroughly and courteously. Drinking water was readily available in every floor level. The location is quiet but can also be very daunting for first-timers as it is located in an area where informal settlers reside. However, it was relatively safe-- I went out to look for food at past 10 pm and the bystanders helpfully gave instructions.

Not recommendable if you have a huge luggage as one needs to climb on stairs. Assistance may be provided upon checking in but checking out is a challenge. It is not highly accessible for taxis due to narrow roads. Oh, the hot water was not working!

Great value for a private roon

I liked the location though it might not suit everyone. It was about 3km to nearest bar but Leveriza street itself is an interesting one, full of life, small shops and basic eateries. There's a 24 hour cafe very close by. The sky train is only less than 1km away which I found very useful Free water at the hotel and the smart, very polite staff were a nice cushioning welcome after a long flight and arriving in this manic city!

No hot water in shower but for the price I have no complaint

Worth the price. The room is spacious and clean. It's a new building so it looks fresh and updated.

Location wasn't that accessible to public transportation. Not that safe to walk to and from the building during evenings because the community surrounding it is a bit crowded.

Worth its price!

It's a new building so it looks fresh, clean, and updated. Both the room and washroom are spacious. And for its price, it's a great deal.

The location of the building is a bit sketchy, and it's not that accessible to public transportation. We felt that walking to and from the building wasn't that safe during evenings since it was situated in the middle of a community with people from all of walks of life.

Review of a week stay

I like the friendly staff and the water pro ided for drinking was more than I had expected. Excellent reseception

The room that I stayed in was very small and I needed to be careful not to bump the wall of the bathroom. Otherwise it was good for the amount paid for.

Disappointing experience

Near the bus terminal and lrt station. Nothing more other than that.

The receptionist that was on duty then was not helpful at all. I was advised by her to just write a review, so my concern will reach the management. So here I am... I only chose to book at Maine City Residences, as I needed to be at the bus terminal near there the following morning. I do not expect a 5-star treatment, as I know that Maine City Residences is pretty cheap. However, basics, like bathroom slippers should be provided. When I asked the the receptionist about it, and if I will be barefoot in the toilet (since they do not provide slippers according to her), she confidently answered yes. It was so disappointing. If this really is the case (which shouldn't be in the first place), she should have said it in a more professional way (confirming that I will be barefoot in the toilet since they do not provide slippers to all the guests) The way she handled the situation was not helpful at all. To the management, giving your staff proper training on how to deal with customers is essential. Making sure that basic needs are given to your guests (Bathroom slippers are necessary) is a must. Btw, I wasn't an irate guest. I asked nicely. Anyway, this is a very bad experience. I do not recommend this place, and I will probably not book here again.

If you are planning to book here, don't get the room 1101 near the reception area, to loud especially in the morning, you will hear the voices of staffs outside. TV was useless due to poor connection.

Good on budget option for short stay with very helpful staff.

I stayed for one night (while on a budget) so it served its purpose but I’d not stay longer. The staff was super nice tho!!

The room doesn’t make much sense, you cannot fully open the bathroom door because the sink is in the way. If you have the fan on, the blinders can get loud.

A single room with private bathroom. Extremely good price. Helpful staff.

Kept seeing bugs. You are in the middle of a communal area that is not the easiest to navigate (not necessarily a bad thing once you get used to it).

Didn't take any breakfast. Location is close to the Manila Adventist Hospital which was convenient because I needed to visit the hospital.

Internet availability rather intermittent and had some black spots, sometimes had to leave the room to reach areas where WIFI signal could be accessed. Electricity supply kept tripping. There is a very noisy truck that comes to supply water to the hotel but it is rather annoying with its noise when they are pumping the water, also it stands right at the front entrance of the hotel and looks rather clumsy.
