Bel emplacement et très belle chambre.

L’emplacement, la décoration, le mobilier. Très joli.

Nous étions tous seuls dans l’établissement (saison non touristique), le SPA ne semblait pas fonctionnel, mais l’hôte était très présente via WhatsApp et a répondu à toute nos questions.

Casa espectacular en la mejor zona de la medina

Casa recién renovada, decorada con un gusto exquisito. Habitaciones con todas las comodidades, baño muy moderno y terraza con bonitas vistas a la medina. La acogida de los dueños no puede ser más calurosa. Desayuno delicioso, preparado en el momento. Excelente relación calidad/preciio

Great local experience staying inside Medina.

The experience staying in the local house. From the look outside from narrow street, all these rooms and exceptionally decorated rooms beyond imagination. Dining area was decorated with tiles, beautiful lamp etc. the breakfast was very simple yet I enjoyed every condiments and dish to guess what it tastes like and discover good combination of condiment and bread and veggies. Good communication with the owner of house via What’s up remotely and attentive staff on site helped breakfast. Roof top view at dawn was exceptional, 360 degree view of Hammamed and sunrise from the ocean. The tranquility of hotel. It was so silent at night, no noise from the street.

Hotel qui prend davantage soin du décor et de la décoration que des résidents qui y séjournent.

La qualité de la décoration et la gentillesse du personnel

L'exiguité de la chambre ( 9m² et non pas les 17m² annoncés). l'absence d'eau chaude le matin tôt et dans l'après-midi, un seul drap de lit, les dysfonctionnements de la WiFi, la situation au cœur de la médina et le parcours long et compliqué pour accéder à l'hôtel sans disposer d'une carte de la médina. L'exigüité de la salle à manger, l'impossibilité de payer en carte bleue.

Exceptional

Beautiful house in Hammamet’s Medina. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The host Marwa is helpful and responsive. The place can be a bit tricky to find, but that’s part of the charm of a stay in the Medina.

Nice place difficult to find

The decor was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and kind. They give lots of water which is very hospitable.

The property was a bit difficult to find and the room was very hot because the AC wasn't on and it was still very humid afterwards. I also thought it was a bit expensive for what it was and whilst the towels were brought after, they weren't initially in the room.

During the weekend, we had a delightful stay at the "Dar Hammamet Guest House," ideally situated in the heart of the medina, which required a short walk to access. Our decision to choose this guest house was driven by our desire for a unique experience outside the typical hotel complexes, and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance of "Dar Hammamet Guest House" is charming, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. The level of cleanliness was impressive, and we couldn't have been happier with the overall experience. On the first day, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast at the guest house itself, which set a positive tone for the day. On the second day, there was an unforeseen emergency that prevented the usual breakfast service, but the gracious hostess, Marwa, promptly arranged for breakfast at a nearby cafe. We sincerely appreciate her attentiveness and understanding during the situation. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend "Dar Hammamet Guest House" to anyone seeking a special and enjoyable stay in the medina. The pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall experience left us with fantastic memories of our weekend getaway. We can't wait to return for another delightful stay in the future.

Beautiful, friendly and clean

Beautifully done up, extremely friendly and attentive owner.

This is not a real complaint but finding the property can be tricky. The Medina is like a maze. But we found that part of the charm of this place so again not really a con.

Gem in the Hammamet Medina

Really nice place just in the middle of the Hammamet Medina. The building looks recently renovated, rooms are very spacious and the hammam for the guest is a plus. The breakfast is good, and the crew is very helpful and professional I will come back again, and I really suggest this place for a short stay.

Nothing particular apart from the flies during the breakfast where the room is very little. The fact the room are on different floors might be difficult for some people.

Authentic stay in the medina

The guest house is authentic and very nicely decorated. You feel the medinas’ heart beat through its walls. It has an amazing terasse and intimate seating areas Marwa, the guest house manager was exceptionally helpful and very quick to answer

There was a strong smell of pipes from the wc but we quickly got help getting rid of it

Good place to stay in medina

It's a nice place to stay in the medina of Hammamet, comfortable, good breakfast.

Staying in a medina is hard work, all the time the shop keepers want you to look at their stuff, they say bonjour, they start a conversation but really it's about selling you something. I personally wouldn't do it again

Cute and clean guesthouse

It was super clean, the host was very responsive and supportive. It was nice and quiet at night.

Property was very hard to find - I got lost every time I returned to it. While a hammam is advertised, it is very small and you can only use it during the day when someone working there is able to switch things on for you (most people would probably want to use it in the evening at the end of a long day). So I didn't end up using the hamam in the end.

Authentic and Homey Stay within Hammamet Medina

The design and interior of the guest house preserves tradition. It provides a homey and authentic experience given that the property is inside the medina. The breakfast is amazing! There’s a good spread of breads, spreads, dips and savoury items. Marwa and her team made us feel at home and I think that is the magic of this place. They were very attentive to our needs and request. Oh, by the way, the towels smell fantastic. My friend slept with them. 😁

There is nothing that I did not like. Just a tip for travellers in navigating around the medina. While locals are friendly, there will be people who will use the interaction for you to visit their shop and sell you items. Be courteous when approached but be firm if you are not interested in checking out their items. If you like great value local stuff, the store beside the property is amazing! It’s priced aptly and you don’t have to go through the arduous process of negotiating.

Excellent place to stay in Hammamet

It was a nice hotel. I love the attention to detail on the decoration and design. The terrace was cool and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The service was very good. They gave us oranges, tangerines and water in our room when checking-in.

The hotel did not inform us beforehand that the hamman and sauna were not working. They did once we were checked in. If we knew that I wouldn't have the expectation of using it after a long day of travels. That's why I am giving them an 8. Also, they did not have shampoo or conditioner in the shower. They only had a soap dispenser in the shower.

Amazing stay - delicious breakfast, beautiful hotel and great staff

the property is beautiful and in a great location. the rooftop has sea views and plenty of space to soak up the sun. the rooms were great too. the breakfast is amazing with delicious juice and omelettes. the staff who work there are very accommodating too!!! Would highly recommend.

The breakfats was very poor, no diversity. No proper heater so the room was very cold. No internet. Bath/spa tube was not functioning
