It was a base to stay but not the best at all.

Easy check in , wifi was good,

Uncomfortable beds, wasnt clean, poor standard overall sorry to have to say.

Great location for visiting Alton Towers and other tourist attractions.

Area a bit rough and could do with better kitchen facilities. Also garden area could be much nicer.

Very good

The size of the bedrooms were fantastic! Had everything we needed for the weekend.

Beds were quite hard to sleep. The sofas aren't very comfortable.

We didn't like anything about this dirty property, hence left 2 hours after arriving

The house was infested with ants, all parts of the downstairs, we could not stay as they were getting into our food and belongings, the whole property was a health hazard, we contacted the owner who told us because we only sent a few photos of the ants he didn't believe us, we want a refund but he's refusing to refund us anything.

It was ok

The rooms were very spacious. Very good towels provided together with hairdryer and iron. Loved the dining hall and spacious kitchen too. Living room was nice and appreciated the free wifi. Very good position from the city centre.

The toilet seat was broken and it was a big no no for a family with kids. Curtains in the bathtub will be a good idea for some privacy since there is only one bathroom/toilet in the whole house. The room with 3 single beds, needs to be taken better care off. the bedroom downstairs needs some privacy at the windows.

It was very tidy and cosy. It was perfect for Alton towers and you can easily fit 9 people.

Toilet seat was loose, we had lots of ants in the living room and someone else is been in the house when we were out and moved our staff even if we didn’t ask for cleaning during our stay.

The Property is close to the job we are working on. free parking road side. there is a sizzling pub a few mins walk away. but they stop severing food at 8pm. so be quick. also close to a few other connivance stores, pubs and kabab shops. ive booked this place a few times now :)

**DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY**

Owners swapped our booking at no notice, did not notify us. When we called they were unsympathetic to the inconvenience they caused us. The door fell off the hinged when we opened it, the mattresses had large dip in them, we were not told about the parking situation and received a parking ticket on the evening we arrived. The owners have not acknowledged my complaint and have not responded to chasers. In result, our trip was tainted by an uncomfortable and grotty accommodation that was not the place we booked.

house was exactly was we needed, spacious, extremely clean and decorated to a high standard. Carl and Brian were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The whole group loved our stay and will book again.

We did not stay!! We waited 2 hours for everyone to meet following Alton towers to decide what to do. We could not get

The only positives about this property is that it was close to Alton towers and all the rooms were spacious. The nearest parking space was a few streets away, dog mess strewn all around the pavement up and down the street (which i understand you can’t control), but it just added to the unkept look of the property, street and are. The property needs a makeover outside as well as inside and i would describe it as being more in keeping with a short term let for renters on lower incomes than a holiday let..

The smell of damp was overpowering on entering the property in addition to the plug-ins trying to mask it. It was maintained and decorated to a very poor standard - very slap dash with minimal effort given. Dirty windows and mouldy sealant surrounding them. Cupboard in room nailed shut, large water damaged patch on living room ceiling, and other small water damaged patches in other rooms. Skirting boards thick with dust which hadn’t obviously been cleaned for weeks, paint all over kitchen floor tiles, strip light missing on room off of the kitchen and their blinds filthy. Fridge had a pungent smell, door leading to the bin access area all scuffed and the passageway covered in cobwebs and again needed scouring. Spoke to proprietor on arrival via tel phone who was adamant it had just been decorated to a high standard. I can only add 4 photos but have so many more

The property was immaculate + well presented! we LOVED staying here! Everything was fresh + super clean! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We LOVED everything! But there wasn’t a washing line, so we had to hang all clean washing up all over the heaters, but that wasn’t an issue at all, just made the house more cosy!

The location was great. We stayed here for Alton Towers, so was not far to travel each day. There was also enough space for 8 of us, 2 families of 4. This house is great value for money. The beds were very comfortable

There were a few bits we had to share with the owners afterwards - not as complaints but recommendations. There was a nail sticking out on the threshold from the kitchen to the outside. There were ants in the kitchen, not lots but needs looking at. Cooker hood needed fixing. There was a leak under the sink that flooded the floor in the kitchen on the last night

Ants and someone banging out door at night.

Being woken by someone banging the door at 9:30 pm, claiming to be the “person who takes care of the property” and that I need to open the door so he can speak to me. Then he got annoyed I wouldn’t open the door to speak to him. Then the property manager calls me to say that the man at the door is actually someone who takes care of the property and that he’ll be moving the bins. He then proceeded to move the bins whilst making as much noise as possible- scaring my children.

It met our needs but did not exceed them .

The road was quiet, there was a lot of space. All the basic items were available. The house was very warm with all the hot water we needed.

The house was a little tatty. Not enough seating for 7, let alone 9 people. The neighbours like a Friday night party.

Perfect Stay
