Lovely house, well equipped and in a great location

Lovely welcoming package of goodies, thank you. Amazing location - near station, city centre and Bishy Road, but quiet and tucked away. Well equipped throughout.

Great holiday in York lovely house

Lovely and cosy TVs in every room . Nice enclosed terrace for dog . We really enjoyed our stay and very close to the centre .

A dvd player would be nice for children and couldn’t get normal tv channels on tv . No parking but we still had an amazing time would stay again

Absolutely wonderful and well-equipped space in which we just needed a bit more wardrobe space.

It was warm, welcoming, and everything was very well-equipped. We had everything we needed and more in the living spaces. It was not only comfortable, but very practical.

The only negative point was that there was a lack of storage for clothes in the bedroom. While I appreciate it's a limited space, for the longer stay that we had booked, it proved a bit of an inconvenience.

Amazing place to stay. Perfect location for tourism. Beautiful house

Perfectly located within walking distance of the town. Loved the house itself, the decor, the courtyard garden, facilities etc Great for a short stay for our family of 5. Even the sofa bed was comfortable!

Fantastic base for York stay

Location perfect, so close to york centre. Very comfy beds, lovely modern house with everything you could need. Even outdoor seating space sun trap.

A fantastic property, we will definitely return.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from most of the main attractions in the city. Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation.

The only (tiny) thing I would suggest is the addition of a bread knife and some silicon cooking utensils

Enjoyed our stay great location but spent our last morning making sure we didn’t get additional cost

The location was really quiet

Did not like the rules in the information pack that we had to keep it clean and tidy during our stay and that we would get additional cost if we did not empty the bins,dishwasher,fridge freezer and tidy up

A really nice place to stay, easy walk into the city center, beautifully presented. We couldn't have

Maggie's place was even better than expected. It has the perfect location for an easy and short walk into the center of York. It is modern, clean and very comfortable. It has all the conveniences you could possibly want, pots, pans coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. We also very much liked the welcome basket of local produce, unexpected but a very nice touch.

Great stay, a little cramped for more than 4 people

Facilities, Clean, Quiet, Comfortable, Location, High Standard to Property. Good Wifi. Ammenities. Tv's in every Room, Quality Bedding. Great for walks in and around York. Shops just a few mins away. Partisan Cafe around corner, Simply wonderful!

Nothing Major. A little small for 5 of us and a Dog. Single Oven (struggle to cook for 5), Only One frying Pan/Wok. Main TV in kitchen/Lounge wouldnt stream for us with Android/Apple (We bought a Roku to allow us to watch Netflix etc).

Great location, lovely furnishings very comfortable, quiet road, easy parking, beautifully presented

Key safe was rather stiff to open, got it open with perseverance. Xmas decorations were unexpected great touch, made house feel homely warm and welcoming. Will stay here again when visiting York. Exceeded expectations!

There was no cutlery, not even a teaspoon, thankfully very close to shops so I picked up some plastic cutlery.

great location, with easy parking on a very quiet street. Interior has been very well furbished.

Walls are thinnish, so could hear the neighbours one night until after midnight. Really fiddly code locker- hard to close

A perfect place to stay in a wonderful City.

The property was spotlessly clean, very well decorated and appointed. We had everything we could possibly want in the kitchen, utensils, cooker. Microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker etc., etc. It was the first day of December and Christmas lights had been put up in the courtyard garden and living room and tasteful decorations over the mantlepiece. We had also been left a hamper which was very unexpected but very welcome. There are probably many more complimentary statements I could make.

Excellent Location for York City Centre

Excellent location in a very quiet street just 5 minutes walk to the Centre of wonderful York. Excellent cooking facilities and great heating that warmed the place up quickly after a busy day wandering around York. Beds were comfortable but our preference was the back bedroom as the front room was far too soft. We relaxed in the kitchen area more than the front snug and liked the big Sony TV (Shame you could only watch Live TV in the snug area) So we ended up using the on-demand apps in the kitchen area. Great location for the restaurants and pubs and a Sainsbury's Local is just round the corner or you can walk a little further to the M&S food hall.

Front bedroom mattress too soft and you have to be careful with privacy as your overlooked.

A great place to stay

A charming two-up-two-down, extended on the ground floor, located in a quiet street within 5 mins walking distance of York city centre. The furnishings were clean and modern, and we found a gift basket waiting for us within some essential groceries (tea bags, etc.) and treats. Best of all, when, due to my own brain-fog, I over-counted the number of days in our stay and failed to vacate the property on time, the vendor was extremely understanding and, after a few phone calls, sold us an extra night.

One of the beds was a bit soft for our liking, but that really is all.

Fabulous

Loved the location, so close to centre however extremely quiet and dog friendly. Layout of the property was ideal and loved the back yard, it was a lovely little sun trap. The property had everything we needed and was so comfortable, the shower was great ,we loved the decor and furnishings, the beds were so comfy. It all felt luxurious. The gift hamper on arrival was the best we have ever had.

That we had to leave.

Central location, clean well equipped accommodation, comfortable beds

Only 1 Parking permit for our 2 night stay . This was rectified after 1 phone call and did not cause us any problems.

Exceptional

Well thought out and beautifully finished. Great location, a couple of streets back from the hustle and bustle so very quiet. Beds were amazingly comfortable, we had a lovely weekend will definitely book here again.
