Toller Aufenthalt bei sehr herzlichen Menschen

Es war eine der saubersten Unterkünfte, die wir in Sri Lanka hatten. Die Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und aufgeschlossen. Sie haben uns zweimal ein unfassbar leckeres Abendessen gekocht! Unser bestes Curry in Sri Lanka! ;-)

Sigiriya is very nice tourist place, and Joshua's cottage is adding more comfort in our journey.

I loved the the overall ambience of the location. I loved the hospitality of the hotel host. I enjoyed the Sri Lanka's authentic food which provide in our breakfast. I will recommend this to other travelers for stay.

I think there is need of power back up. we faced slight electricity unviability.

Great value for money

One of the few places where they honour booking.com price. It's a small place run by a family. Sajeewa is very friendly and helpful. The room is pretty big, so you have a space to store your luggage. It is very clean, no mold, white walls, looks like repainted recently. The AC is new and works well. The bathroom is also new, has a good lightning, hot water. The breakfast was tasty (omelette, bread, butter, roti, fresh juice, tea/coffee etc). The location is quite central if you have a car and very silent. Just a few minutes drive to Sigiriya Rock Foreigners' Entrance. There is a small restaurant and a shop just on the main road, so everything you need is nearby within walking distance.

Exceptional

Very clean room.a hairdryer, an electric kettle, and most importantly a refrigerator is in the room.good shower. Sanjee runs there with his family. Breakfast is served in a beautiful garden. Omelette is spicy. If you don't want spicy, let Sanjee knows. Don't doubt. Just book it.

Everything was perfect

The Joshua’s Cottage is nicely and very spacious, The location is near the main road, but quiet at the same time. Breakfast is delicious and we can have it on our private terrace. He gave us great advice, took us to the lion rock and organised a Sigiri Village tour .Everything was perfect!

Best stay in Sri Lanka

Simply fantastic place. Simply amazing family keeping this small hotel. Great service provided by nice, kind and the most friendly people! Homestyle made excellent dinner for small budget. Very good breakfast included in the price. Absolutely recommended. If another time to come to Sigirya, definitely will stay there .

Lovely rooms in beautiful setting! ”

found this place while looking for a place to stay near the Rock. Rooms were huge and clean but the one thing that impressed me the most was the staff and its food.But after we met owner who had already spent a few days at the Cottage, we were convinced that they were indeed a sincere bunch of staff. The food was good too! i Recommend this hotel for stay in sigiriya!
