would i stay there again ... no thank you

Self Catering .. not much to say about what was available to use except that it was better not to use it .

Floors were sticky , no towels available on a sunday , no water or backup water available , too much banging noises when people used the stairs , only had 1 key to share between 4 people . Did not have any access disc to enter the property and had to wait outside twice in 2 days for someone to open the door ( after pressing the intercom, screaming and phoning the emergency number- which was on voicemail ) The apartment felt dirty but looked nice .

A Minty stay :)

I stayed at Mint in a 2-Bedroom Apartment with my family for 10 days and we enjoyed our stay, it felt like home and the staff were very helful in addressing any issue we encountered. Location is great, it's a walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets to shop for groceries,yaih. Most importantly, you will feel safe at Greenside.

The place is over-advertised with facilities that are not there. It's far from clean

You have to wait for the receptionist to open the gate , they take too long and it's not safe to wait by their gate . The sheets were not clean , they were torn . The toilet smelled bad and there were no tissues

Location and centrality.

There is no back up for loadshedding, I think this should be strongly flagged as I was there for my studies and I could not study on evenings there was loadshedding. The cockroaches are quite hectic. I assume it’s because of the restaurants downstairs I don’t know but maybe something can be done to prevent them from invading the apartment.

Unpleasant stay

The size

There was no generator, no aircon, the lifts were stinking. It rained and there was water everywhere. It's noisy inside the hotel, no peace and quiet. I was interrupted by the staff asking if I booked the room????

The apartment was clean, great location & well catered with everything one might need.

Overall great and great location in Randburg, if you are coming with the Gautrain it’s about 5 min from the Rosebank Station, and there are many restaurants around and convenient shops.

The shower tended to overflow a bit and there were no mops or mats in the bathroom. The apartment is opposite a nightclub/lounge so if you get the rooms facing the main roads you will not be able to sleep at all due to the noise.

3 day stay at MINT apartments in Greenside

The apartment was very spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable. Really good space.

Housekeeping is not good. The oven didn't work at all. There was one tea spoon and very few utensils etc. There were no cold drink glasses, so I had to drink cold drink from a wine glass. The towel replacement was also a random surprise every day. It was a great place but daily maintenance wasn't good.

Fair, would have loved to stay longer because of proximity and location

Apartment was nice and clean. House keeping and concierge was nice.

Stove was damaged was afraid to use it. I felt like l was at a boarding school. If you come back to hotel after 11pm there is no one at front desk, doors are locked and you have to call a number for the guy to come open which posses a safety risk while waiting outside. The guy is responsive but it’s still dangerous to wait for even 5mins for someone to open the door for you I should be able to come and go as l please at a hotel!

The welcoming was great until we were short of kitchen utensils

It’s a beautiful place and we were given the penthouse

That there no enough cutlery, glasses , plates etc. the remote for the main lounge tv wasn’t working.

Disappointing - Management should change entire front desk staff and please get a backup generator.

Great property and quite spacious but poor management. I stayed in the 2 bedrooms executive paint house.

The services were very poor. - Very anti-social receptionists - Frequent load-shedding with no electrical backup generator means, no WiFi, no hot water etc. - Poor gate management. One night I (other guests) couldn't get out of (into) the building and gate man was no where to be found yet wont answer WhatsApp calls on the WhatsApp number that was provided. - I requested for an invoice and was told it would be sent to my e-mail. A month later, I still haven't received it despite several reminders.

Greenside Restaurants

Place was not clean at all curtains not hooked at places, oven dirty, cupboards dirty, not enough glasses, 1x remotes not working, rail in bathroom laying on floor, no warm blankets. Place smelled of sigarette smoke so badly that your clothes etc smelled like smoke. Overall cleanliness not good at all.

Can you please tell the guests with cars that if they found other cars in parking lot, and they park in front of them, they should not be grumpy and take their time when the car owner wakes them up to remove the car cos they checking out earlier than them. Thank you

The apartment is beautiful, very neat and tidy. The check-in was swift and easy.

There was no toilet paper at the time of checking in and it took a bit of time before it was brought up.

Penthouse

The unit was very clean, spacious and comfortable and easily accessible though parking was a bit crowded. Location is great as there are nice restaurants around.

The unit was very hot especially at night. There is need for air-conditioning and/or fans at least. We were afraid of opening the doors and windows at as we were not sure how safe that was.

Very comfortable stay

Very spacious, modern flat with a nice, big balcony (overlooking the parking - but it was still nice to be able to sit outside),

On Saturday evening, the noise from the nearby bar was quite loud; on Monday morning we were woken up by the coach from the nearby gym screaming exercise instructions like an army officer - at 6 a.m. There were no battery/solar lamps nor candles to compensate for the electricity cuts (load shedding) It would be nice to have more cutlery and crockery - perhaps charge deposit but provide it...
