This location was probably very nice and clean when first listed; this is no longer the case. It had the feeling that someone just stayed here for a few months and it hadn’t been cleaned well afterwards. In summary, it needs some deep cleaning and maintenance. The good: The location was nice and quiet. The beds were decent. Parking was easy. It’s a good size.
The bad: The walls had many greasy marks on them, especially upstairs (even handprints); in general, the walls have not been cleaned in quite some time. The garbage cans didn’t have bags in them when we arrived. The door was unlocked when we arrived. There were wrappers on the floors in the bedrooms upstairs and left-behind socks found under beds. We thought the dishwasher was broken because the first load of dishes came out very dirty so we hand-washed all our dishes the rest of the trip; turns out the dishwasher soap dispenser didn’t open. Many of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty; probably due to the dishwasher not functioning properly all the time. There was only one hand towel for the kitchen; we were there FIVE days - more kitchen towels are needed for drying hands and dishes. The disposal stopped working when we were there; we alerted them at checkout. One of the outdoor chair seat slats were completely broken when we arrived. The bathrooms and bedrooms don’t lock; with kids running around, this can be a problem. The first-floor bathroom door needs to be lubricated. The ceiling fan in the king bedroom is ver

Most of the house was great! The location was perfect, it was clean, had almost everything we needed. The property manager was quick to reply in the beginning. However as soon as we walked into the house we noticed a very strong smell. We initially wrote it off to being an old house that maybe had pets in the past. But once we went to utilize the basement where 4 out of 5 of our kids were to play/sleep the smell was unbearable. There was a wet spot in the carpet at the end of the stairs. We weren’t sure of the cause as no one had brought any liquids down there. We didn’t let the children play or sleep down there. We contacted the property manager to let them know of the smell and wet spot and received no response. We decided to purchase a mold kit. We completed the mold test and sent it in. We just received the results and it confirmed Cladosporium spp. and Penicillium spp. We know and understand that mold is everywhere. But we were concerned of the mold because several of us have asthma. Unfortunately it has caused each of us to develop a pretty bad cough that we’re all still fighting. We’d like to bring this to your attention in hopes you’ll get it fixed. We’re happy to send in you the results too if you’d like. Thank you.

We found this property for 6 of us that were going down for the Metallica shows. The location was great for us as close to everything we wanted and some great places we found not far at all from the house. Totally worked for our needs and had plenty room for all of us. We wish there was a bathroom in the basement for ease but definitely would go back

The house is very nice. Very roomy, but too many steps for senior citizens. The master bedroom is absolutely wonderful.

We stayed at this house for our girls trip to St Louis to check out the Soulard Farmers market and a Cardinals game. There was 8 of us and the house had plenty of space for everyone. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and plenty of amenities. The hosts communication was excellent and made sure to let us know we can reach out if anything is needed.

Great property! Great location. We had a great time in St. Louis and the property was close to everything we wanted to do. Nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. We have to mention Tuckers restaurant. We went there twice. So close you can walk to it.
House was beautiful and beds were very comfortable.

The house is very cute in a good spot, walking distance to Bud and many bars/restaurants in Soulard. The house had the perfect set up for our group of 8. Beds were comfy and the place had all the accessories we needed for a comfortable stay. Our 4 kids loved sleeping together in the basement and the adults loved chilling on the back porch after bedtime. The host was very responsive and helped us with a few minor snafus quickly (ex- my son pulled a door handle off). The house is also under 10 minutes to City Museum, aquarium, Busch stadium, and the arch, which made our stay here very convenient. The only downfall to our trip was the second night of our stay. Our car was parked on the street (only parking available) and someone broke into our car, shattering a window. This is no fault of the property, just something I think others will want to know when staying here. I’d advise to keep front porch light on overnight and park directly in front of the property.

Very happy
Rented the property for a mid-week getaway with four teens. Beds are extremely comfortable. House had everything we needed. Safe neighborhood. Back yard needed mowed, but we didn’t go out there so wasn’t a big deal to us, but might be for others. Would rent again.

Great location
This was a great location! Close to everything we wanted to do! Plenty of room for us and all 4 kids! The only issue was the a/c didn’t seem to work well upstairs and it stayed really hot up there. The bottom 2 floors were nice and cool though! So it still worked great for us! Thanks for making our trip a great one!

Wedding weekend
I had 7 girls in a bridal party stay at the house. The house was decent but I am huge on cleanliness. The deck had trash all over it that I picked up as well as in the downstairs bedroom there were candy wrappers all over the floor. The carpet had huge stains on it and the stairs look like they had never been vacuumed. And the mirrors looked like someone brushed their teeth and spit tooth paste all over it. Also the wall directly across from the main floor bathroom looked like it had dirty fingerprints all over it. It was fine for what it was but it could have been cleaner.

Friends getaway weekend
This was a great location for our biannual friends weekend getaway. We enjoyed the proximity to the Soulard market and the local microbreweries. The house was very comfortable for the 6 of us.

Great for families
This house had everything we needed for our getaway to St.Louis. Conveniently located to everything, the neighborhood was really nice, and all the beds allowed for plenty of room for everyone.

Great place
Perfect place to stay with my husband and four kids. They each had their own spot to stay and really enjoyed the house. Lots of nice touches with games for kids, too.

Wonderful home
I don’t even know where to start! This home is sooo comfortable - the beds, the pillows, the kitchen, every space in this house is great! I am picky about where I stay but this house exceeded my expectations and was extremely clean. We had 6 adults and we never felt crowded at all. There are plenty of kitchen accessories - pans, baking sheets, plates, glasses, silverware, wine glasses… There is even shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The master bedroom and bathroom were my favorites! The neighborhood is quiet and the location is great. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to use the back decks, but the pictures are 100% accurate, the host is super nice and accommodating. I would definitely LOVE to stay here again!!
