The beloved residence of multiple generations of a Maine family, this delightful three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home sleeps six comfortably and is airy and bright in ocean-inspired whites, blues, and greys. Spectacular features include original hardwood floors, oversize sliding glass screened doors opening to a deck and wonderful harbor views, fireplace with pellet stove; antique nautical fixtures and nautical décor; extensive Maine flower gardens and plants encircling the home.
The welcoming colonial entryway with Deco powder room, shoe bench, and coat closet leads to the splendid newly-renovated living room. Features include: two oversize sliding glass screened doors leading out to a porch perfect for sunrise coffee, after-beach cocktails, and sunset and harbor viewing; brand new pull-out queen-size sleeper sofa; plenty of plush seating; window A/C; flatscreen TV.
The fully-equipped kitchen has new countertops and sink; plenty of storage; coat and supply closet; a small, bright eating area with views of plants and gardens; and opens onto a roofed porch ideal for reading and relaxation.
Directly off the kitchen, the elegant dining room, with southern exposures and lovely original built-in cabinets, seats 8. Built-in drawers contain board games, cards, and puzzles for rainy day fun.
Wake up to stunning ocean and island views in the newly renovated second floor master bedroom and en suite bathroom: queen-size bed with new mattress; cozy seating area; oversize sliding glass screened door to Juliet balcony and breathtaking views; two large dressers; TV; window A/C and ceiling fan. Walk-in closet. Bathroom features 5-foot vanity with charging station; large walk-in shower with 9-inch showerhead plus hand-held shower.
A second bedroom with queen-size memory foam mattress and a third bedroom with new full-size mattress are drenched in sunlight, have window A/Cs and generous dresser and closet space. These share a charming original Deco bathroom with tub/shower off hallway, which also provides a well-stocked linen closet, including beach towels.
In the large basement are a new washer/dryer; propane grill; new SUP and paddle; assortment of beach/lawn chairs and life jackets.
The spacious driveway, shared with neighbor, has room for several cars. Exterior security cameras located over the front and back doors for security purposes only.
