About this house rental
Palmetto Boulevard home across the street from the beach with open concept living room/dining room/kitchen that opens to expansive screened porch. 4 bedrooms downstairs and an upstairs 5th bedroom with upstairs den that opens to deck with incredible ocean views that parallel that of an ocean front home. Huge backyard and covered area under the house with picnic tables, hammock, and space to play for the kids. As is typical for most homes at Edisto, linens are not provided. This is a Sunday to Sunday rental in the summer season. There is not a minimum stay in the off season.

We surprised our kids with a beach week in Edisto. If you can’t afford to be right on the beach, but need a larger house, this is IT! Location is literally steps from the smaller beach access (golf cart only so it’s not too busy) and there are views of the ocean from both porches. The huge 1st floor screened in porch was a favorite gathering place. Wonderful all-around home. The kitchen is incredibly well furnished. We cooked a ton of huge meals.

This was a beautiful beach cottage topped off with a perfect porch. We spent a majority of our time on the screened in porch!! Beach access is super close and the home decor was just right!

The house was amazing, it was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a home away from home for our family to hang out enjoy each others company and make memories. Nat was a great host. He was pleasant to deal with, kind and friendly. I would recommend this property.

Very clean and well supplied in all areas. Paper towels, toilet tissue, beach and kitchen towels, dishwasher detergent, etc. all there. Nicely and comfortably furnished. Games and puzzles too! Gas and charcoal grill. Nice views of the ocean. On our visit, it was very windy with noticeable salt air, which cooled down the heat and humidity some. The house is a less than one block walk to the beach. A terrific place to stay!!

Loved staying here for a week with my family: 6 adults, 2 kids and a toddler. The 3 families all had their own bathroom and “section” of the house and it worked out nicely.
The porches were AMAZING. Screened in porch had lots of seating and was very comfortable. The top porch had amazing views of th stars and ocean. And with the sea breeze it was so nice to sit and relax.
The beds were super comfortable. House was well stocked with pots, pans, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels when we arrived. Plenty of hot water and cold A/C!
Easy access to beach, no need to drive or take the golf cart!
No linens means no linens so be sure to bring all towels, sheets and bath mats (just something we didn’t think of).
Owners are super lovely! Would definitely stay again!

This was the 2nd time staying in the beautiful home. It's so close to everything and a joy to come to every time.

We really enjoyed the layout of this house for our family. My parents were upstairs, my brother and his wife were on one side of the house and my wife, myself and our kids were all on the same side of the house. Prefect setup for our little ones to be close but not in our room. Beach access was only 200ish ft away. The house had beach games, corn hole, kid toys, sound machines, pack and play, basically everything a family with kids would need. We will definitely be staying here again.

My family, ranging in ages between 16 and 75 really enjoyed staying in this home. The home was very clean, kitchen is well stocked. Nicely located, walking distance to everything. Short walk to the beach access. The owner is super nice and easy to get in contact with. Will stay here again.

The owners were fabulous to deal with and the house was nice. It was very clean, and is a perfect distance from the beach. We had to shift our scheduled visit because of a work obligation and the owners were super accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

This house was great for a long overdue week at Edisto with extended family, including my nephew who turned 2 during our trip. The proximity of the beach made it easy to go back and forth as needed, and the location was pretty central to most things on the island. The multiple living areas and the large screened-in porch were perfect for spreading out when needed, and all of the rooms were equipped with TV's and Rokus with a convenient guest mode. We were impressed at how well the house was stocked, including the high-quality pans in the kitchen and the high chair, pack & play, and baby gate. I think my favorite part was being able to sit out on the top balcony in the morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean, or stargazing at night. The owner was very communicative and accommodating, reaching out well in advance to make sure we knew we needed to bring sheets/towels (the norm for Edisto, but VRBO doesn't really do a great job of highlighting this for people who aren't familiar). The few minor questions/issues I had were responded to right away. One thing to be aware of if you have small children is there are a few decor items throughout that seemed breakable, but we just gathered them upstairs and put them back before checkout. I would absolutely consider this property again for a future trip!

This home was perfect for our family! We had up to 10 adults at various times during the week and there was more than enough room for a couple more. We spent most of our time on the amazing porch! Plenty of room for parking and for corn hole/lowcountry boil under house. The A/C worked GREAT! Comfortable beds and the second floor living area/bedroom/bathroom was perfect for the couple in our group with a 3 month old. Close to beach access 6. Great communication with owner! We look forward to staying again!

This was a wonderful house! Super convenient to the beach. Well stocked, great layout for guests! Owners could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic! Screens porch is amazing with abundant seating. Will definitely be back!!

This property is in a great location and has potential to be a 5 star rated rental but it needs some fine tuning. The biggest issue was the lack of linens and towels. Any future VRBO renters need to be aware to pack their own linens or contact the island linen service well in advance of your stay. Other issues such as items in drawers and neglected accessories were noticeable. The owners were very responsive but most things should have been addressed by a thorough cleaning process. I enjoyed my stay and recommend Edisto Beach for everyone.

We had a large family vacation so others rented another property. This is directly across the street from the beach so no long walk with all your beach stuff to get there! The house worked out great for our family! Plenty of space to spread out too!

This house was incredible! My family and I had the best time just relaxing and enjoying the home. Lots of deck space and seating for everyone! The owner, Nat, was incredible and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Our family had a great experience at this location. Although we had wished all the patio doors opened, the huge porch is very peaceful, comfy, and beautiful view. Great choice!

First family trip back to Edisto in a few years and we had a great trip. House was very well furnished, even had white nose machines in every room. We had 9 adults and 4 kiddos and still had plenty of room. The porches are amazing and it is a 30 second walk to the beach. I highly recommend this place, great trip.

Great house for a crowd. Great water pressure, great beds, great location, great front porch that we loved, and the kitchen was full of every single cooking tool you could need. The owners were great to work with. We were very comfortable in this home.

Our family of 10 had plenty of room in the house since we could spill out onto the front porch. The location was excellent and easy to get to the beach with four small children. The house was pretty clean and has had some renovations. Could use a few more pots in the kitchen and some dressers in the bedrooms but our family all agreed we would stay here again. Beds are super comfy!

Killer front porch
Feedback and communication with the owners was top notch. About 60 yds from closest beach access. Golf carts are not legal for this address but we rented a LSV which worked out great. The owners have done some upgrades with more on the way. Everybody seemed to migrate to the huge front porch which is screened with fans. Wonderful ! We had a great time and this house will remain on our list for future rentals.
