Welcome to the Marigold Cottage!
Cozy & clean with a minimalist tone but packed full of all the necessities. Includes seasonal fresh eggs from our chickens & gardens for you to enjoy. Located in quiet E. Nokomis and is walking distance to the beach, coffee shop, Minnehaha Falls, parks, grocery, library, dining, airport, light rail, MallOfAmerica & more. Centrally located and quick access to nearby suburbs. Family+kid+reunion friendly. Enjoy the patio, swing set & fenced backyard.

The space
Main level has Queen bed, Full bed, Twin bed. Full bathroom with tub. Also a new cooks kitchen with microwave, French press and/or drip coffee options, gas stove. Spacious upstairs living room has books, games and a record player. Play the piano too!

Lower level includes Queen pullout, Full bed, Twin Bed. Workspace desk in bedroom. Second full bathroom with tub. Cozy living room with TV and kids play space. Washing machine and dryer for your use.
Guest access
Easy parking right in front. Full access to fenced backyard with grill, swing set, gardens and chicken coop.

My family's first time vacationing in Minneapolis. This cottage hosted our family very well. There was plenty of room for all of us and in a wonderfully quiet and friendly neighborhood close to lakes, the MOA, and the airport. We were very happy with our stay.

My daughter and grandchildren (4, 3, and 7 months) and I stayed here for medical appointments at Gillette Children’s Hospital. The hosts were amazing and the house was SO clean! It had essentials for the kitchen, including spices and several condiments. We just needed the main ingredients for cooking. We grilled out with the provided gas grill and watched the kids enjoy running and playing outside- great swing set and lots of sticks and plants for them to explore. Rooms and beds were comfy- wonderful linens and feather pillows. Was so relaxing to be able to unwind after medical appointments. We were 20 minutes from GCH, less than 20 min. From mall of America. Were were close to the airport so there was some airport noise but it wasn’t bothersome. The neighborhood was safe and super cute and charming. When we have to go back for appointments we would definitely stay again.

This is our 2nd time staying at this location & did not disappoint. Easy access to freeway, airport, lakes, trails, river. Nice neighborhood, Minneapolis & St. Paul with so much to do! Cute little rambler style home with a private backyard pert for little ones! Fresh eggs, feeding the chickens, beautiful garden. Great place for a family to call home ( away from home)😊.

We stayed in the Marigold cottage for two weeks while visiting family and friends. It was perfect for our family of five. Quite clean and enough space for all of us. We enjoyed the backyard space, the chickens, and fresh eggs every day. When a maintenance issue came up, the owners responded promptly, even on a Friday night. Neighborhood is great, close to the lake, stores, and probably too many bakeries for our own good. Will definitely consider the next time we are in town.

The home was great for a family with kids. Clean, comfortable and wonderful location. My grand daughters got up every morning to check for morning eggs ... truly a treat for them to look forward to every day. Highly recommend!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay -- the home, the yard, the backyard chickens, the neighborhood, and the close proximity to the highways. We couldn't have asked for anything more! Our granddaughters loved checking on the chickens and gathering the eggs, and walking throughout the neighborhood was great. It's close to Lake Hiawatha, as well, and a small grocery store (and library) are both within walking distance. We would certainly recommend this property to others and we undoubtedly will return!

Everything was just great, not one thing to be less than ideal! We were there 8 days and could have easily stayed longer. The house was warm and toasty with a very family, relaxed vibe. We had our family Christmas there and everybody remarked how comfortable and happy they were. The basement is finished with comfy sofas and TV with a bedroom and full bath. The kitchen has been updated with modern appliances and everything was provided to cook full meals. The beds were super comfortable with high end bed linens. We all slept like babies! The bathrooms were clean, efficient, updated, and good sized. All the furniture was conducive to visiting and chilling out. The owners were so hospitable and friendly and all our needs were taken care of; including a decorated Christmas tree and a bottle of wine!! Jenica shoveled our steps every morning and when the sink backed up, there was a plumber to fix it in 3 hours. I was impressed. The neighborhood was perfect: good local restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and Oxendale's grocery store. If it had been summer, I'm sure we would have made our way to Lake Nokomis and walked around it.

We stayed here during our daughter’s wedding weekend and absolutely loved it! Hosts were super-responsive and accommodating, which was especially helpful to my elderly mother. The thoughtful touches around the cottage and fresh eggs for breakfast were all amazing.I wish I could leave even more stars. Top notch!!!!

The house was clean, had lots of space and included all the amenities, kitchen utensils, pans, plates, towels and anything else you think you might need. The house was rented for my brother and sis-in-law, their 40 year-old son and daughter with three young girls. I live ten blocks away and it was our gathering spot. The family felt safe in the neighborhood, they loved the beach at nearby Nokomis and thought it was a good location in the city.. The backyard chickens were a bonus. The five year-old twins loved collecting eggs and swinging on the swings. The family has already talked about returning for another adventure.

Very child friendly & the chickens were a huge hit, easy access to the entire south metro, walking distance to lake Nokomis & the parkway system. The hosts were very accommodating & responsive. We can’t say enough about this beautiful, cozy, comfortable home in an adorable, safe neighborhood!!

This was a fantastic property for a family group meetup. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed in a great location just a few minutes from the airport and the Mall of America. The street it is on was quiet and felt very safe. The kids absolutely loved the backyard chickens and harvesting fresh eggs daily. Jenica was so pleasant, responsive and thoughtful. We'd definitely stay here if we visit Minneapolis again.

So grateful to have found this FANTASTIC home!! Spacious yet cozy, tons of room for our family. Common spaces are outstanding, plus lots of private sleeping space too. Perfect location near Lake Nokomis. Jenica and Tony are such gracious hosts. They thought of everything and made check in and out a breeze. We can't wait to stay again this summer. Perfect VRBO experience!

We had a great time. 7 adults from my family were able to comfortably sprawl out. My wife raved about the charming cottage feel and all of my family said this was a great find. Good areas to gather and chat, as well as a kitchen which had everything we needed with updated appliances. Overall, very happy with this place.
