We had a great time in fish camp. Nearby Oakhurst had restaurants as well as Tenaya lodge. The home was clean, cozy, with plenty of room for our 4 adults. Within 15 min from Mariposa grove and 1 hour to Yosemite Valley. Highly recommended

Nice location but property has some deferred maintenance and was lacking basic amenities. Owner was responsive but should not have needed to ask for toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.

Over all enjoyed our stay
We had trouble finding the place at 9 pm at night and after a hard snow (over an 1”) but due to wrong address we entered in Google. Veena helped us that night and was great. The only issue was the heaters were not on when we got there and was very cold. The heater in one bedroom didn’t work but they had a mobile one that kept us warm through stay (Veena said it worked 2 weeks ago and they way things went I probably didn’t do something right), there were dirty dishes in dishwasher, and the coffee maker had used grounds in it. Really nothing huge. Veena was very very responsive and we appreciate it. We bought food before coming to unit but planned on eating out after one day of hiking. Got back too late (8pm) and nothing was open. Definitely bring enough food to feed yourself of coming back after 6 pm. Really likes the fireplace and beds, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and comfortable. We would go back knowing what we know now. Thanks Veena for a great stay

The ManVee is a perfect location for a visit to beautiful Yosemite! We had a small issue with the fireplace, but Veena and her very nice neighbor helped us fix it. We would stay there again!

Lovely, homely cabin in Fish Camp, perfectly suited for Yosemite Park village.
Good communication with the owners and manager to sort out a minor problem, and we really appreciated the local info and hiking details.
All in all a great place for our family of five to stay.

Great communication from owner and fantastic location 2 miles from the southern park entrance made this a very good property for our Yosemite vacation. A few small details (ie improvements to outdoor living area) kept this from a 5 star rating, but we would definitely stay here again.

This was a great location and made entering the south side of the park incresibly easy. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the cabin hadn't been cleaned when we checked in. The property manager responded quickly and was able to get it cleaned along with refunding our cleaning fee. Overall would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin…we had everything we needed and it was so nice and quiet. The location was perfect between Oakhurst and Wawona.

The house accommodated our family of 5 very well. There’s no AC, which made me panicky with the heat wave. However, it was fine by the time we went to bed with the windows open and two fans in every room, (and I like it COLD when sleeping). Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

This is a great launch point to get to Yosemite Valley and is only two miles from the South entrance. Kitchen looks brand new and is well equipped. Best to bring food with you as not many food options locally in Fish Camp. Fans provided for every room. I assumed temperature would be similar to Yosemite even though only 30+ miles to Yosemite village. Fish Camp seems to be 10 degrees warmer than Yosemite village.

Comfortable cabin in nice neighborhood. Very clean, kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. Picnic table on deck. Some chairs would have been nice. We spent most of our tlme on the deck. Beautiful place!

Very homey and comfortable cabin. The only issue was the living room floors were not swept very well and the sheets on one bed had not been changed. It was a great location close to the south gate entrance to Yosemite. The manager showed up as we were packing to leave and apologized for the cleaning issues. We had a very nice trip to Yosemite.

Fully appointed and comfortable with all the usual home comforts. Was plenty warm even with snow piled high. Running creek out back. I would definitely stay again.
This is located in a mountain "neighborhood" so you won't have solitude, but still plenty of space. Really close to dinner and market and if course Yosemite south gate. Internet worked great, by the way, if that is something you need.

The home was perfect for our needs. Easy arrival procedure (owner sent code for entry in advance). The cabin was a cozy home base for our stay. The roads were well plowed, and the surroundings were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great cabin would recommend. Plenty of room. Only note there were mice poops in one of the drawers in the kitchen. No big deal. Our family has house in Wawona so mice are part of the territory.

The house was amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. The back deck was fantastic. The owner was very responsive to all our questions and kept us up to date regarding the wildfires in the Yosemite area. The ONLY downside to this property is the bit of a hill you have to negotiate to get in and out. If you are mobility impaired, it could pose a problem. Fish Camp is very small town, so buy your groceries on the way.

nice location
nice location and a quick trip to Yosemite park entrance. I mostly used the place for sleeping and late dinner. Spent most of the time at the park. comfortable place to stay. owner very responsive. we had some issue with garbage not picked up (due to 4th July holidays) and I wish that was taken care before our arrival. eventually owner was able to get it done with property manager but that took my attention and time. overall nice place to enjoy.

Wonderful Yosemite Getaway!
This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of four. The location is excellent being only minutes from the park entrance. The house is well maintained with new appliances and a smart TV, and the Wi-Fi was more than adequate for the kids’ busy online lives ;-). Communication with our host was excellent and he was more than accommodating when we had a last minute snag. Would definitely recommend and we will stay here again.

Over all the experience was good. The cabin was wonderful. The location was great. Lots of adventures to do in the area. Don't forget your hiking shoes as I did 😂

Great location for visiting Yosemite
Great location, very close to entrance of Yosemite. Owner extremely responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend this location to others. Steepness of driveway did not bother us at all so don’t let that keep you from renting.

Yosemite visit
The house was very comfortable. The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly. We enjoyed our stay there. The only thing that wasn’t great was the driveway and parking. The driveway was steep hard to carry things up and down. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

Great cabin just outside of Yosemite
My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property! It was very comfortable and was located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite. Veena was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. I would love to stay here again if we were to visit Yosemite again in the future.

Family Trip to Yosemite
Overall, we had a great stay at the cabin. The setup was perfect for us. Bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size. Kitchen can fit two easily and we had dinnerware, utensils and pans needed. I would suggest bringing pepper and spices (only salt and peppercorns on hand - no grinder). You may also want to bring grilling utensils as the ones kept in the oven broiler worked but not really meant for the grill. Hostess was very easy to reach and gave us great instructions on parking since driveway is very steep. Our only issue was that the dishwasher wasn’t hooked up so we didn’t use it. In all fairness, we didn’t ask how to make it work - we just washed the dishes ourselves. Location was great. Just 20 min from Yosemite gate and 25 min from nearest grocery store and gas station . We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to book again for future Yosemite trips. Thanks Veeta for the great time!

Dog friendly home
We had a lovely time in this quiet rental that is only about a 2 minute drive to the Tenaya Lodge. Beds were very comfy, new kitchen appliances throughout and will certainly go back!
