Stroll alongside coastal bluffs, hike through a scenic marine reserve and enjoy a cozy dinner at the Moss Beach Distillery, a mere 3 minute walk away. Relax on the deck and spacious entertainment areas which flow seamlessly into a full service kitchen. 3 beds/3 baths in the main house; 1 bed/bath in the private cottage accommodates 8 family members and guests. Princeton shops and restaurants are a short walk, bike or car ride away.
The space
Recently upgraded, this beautiful home in the heart of Moss Beach has all the amenities you’ve come to expect in a vacation ‘get-away’. A few hundred feet away from coastal bluffs, an ‘easy-to-navigate’ path lead vacationers back in time to the prohibition era when ‘rum-runners’ would drop their ‘boot-legged’ liquor at what is now the scrumptious Moss Bay Distillery. Seal Cove and the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve sit right next door and offer spectacular opportunities to commune with nature and capture amazing photos highly recommended for memorializing your visit.

This home has two levels. A large entry on the 1st level provides ample space to transfer your gear through the front door or the spacious 2-car garage. 2 bedrooms (queen beds) separated by 1 bathroom, are located on this level alongside a sizable washer/dryer to keep clothes and towels fresh during your entire stay

The main living space is on the 2nd level. An en-suite, 1 bedroom (queen bed) and bath, provides privacy and sits adjacent to the full-service kitchen. Next comes the massive entertainment area, combining dining room and family space, framed with large ‘picture’ windows to view the ocean by day and brilliant sunsets by night. Barbecue on the deck and enjoy a beverage of your choice while gazing at nature’s bounty.

Private Cottage
The 4th bedroom (queen bed) and 3rd bath are situated in this cozy, private cottage. There is easy access from the main home or backyard gate, leading from the two-car driveway.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
This property easily sleeps 8 travelers with 4 bedrooms (queen beds) and 3 bathrooms. The family room has a large sectional couch which can accommodate sleeping bags for adults and children of any age.

Outdoor Space
The 2nd level deck has a barbecue and seating for relaxation any time of day to take in the pure beauty of the Pacific Coastline. There is ample entertainment space with firepit in the backyard adjacent to the private cottage with easy access to the main home

Discover Northern California’s coastal foothills by traveling from Interstate 280 and Highway 92 west to historic Half Moon Bay, then north on picturesque Highway 1 to Moss Beach.

Owner will provide access code for the main home front door lock; a lockbox with key will open the private cottage.

The area was mostly in fog - wet and cold. We had issues to get in the house and with the locks. Kitchen is not well equipped. Only small queen beds. A little outdated furniture - basic. Outside area not used due to very wet conditions- main terrace very small, fo

working with Sarah was great, but because this was a new process for me communication was very challenging with VRBO and could not talk with Sarah tiil the day before arrival, causing some anxiety. How could it be simplified. I have an Android phone and the bar codes did not work for me. I'm still learning.

We loved the house and the view. Arrived in the middle of a big storm with massive waves so it was great to have a view. We were warm and dry and had plenty to do in the house. The house is big and provides everything you can need. We only had 4 adults and 1 three year old but the place was big enough for more people comfortably. The kitchen and bathroom were well equiped and the bedrooms were private. The only caution would be the stairs if a person cannot handle a full flight of stairs. A baby gate was provided for the stairs. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive to all questions.

I would have to say overall this was a great stay! Pros: Accommodating property owners Clean Beautiful with lovely decor Spacious Fully stocked with all needs and extras Cons: Needs updated description. No longer has a wrap around deck. Shifting in foundation left gate unable to latch feeling dog was not secure and a little nervous about safety or entry of strangers. Only a rock held the gate closed. This shifting also created a couple inch gap under the front door with a very cold draft due to ocean front property. Child gate did not secure safely to upstairs railing. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved this home and location. Comfortable, clean, and lovely setting. Beautiful views and closer to ocean than I thought! We could hear the ocean all night! Close to marvelous hikes right out the front door. Will be back!!

We had a fabulous time in Moss Beach at this property. Our host was communicative, check in and out was a breeze, I would recommend this place to anyone. Moss Beach is an ideal home base for day trips into San Francisco, or for venturing South to experience more of the coast. This house has wonderful ocean views from the deck and main living area, even from the kitchen! We saw seals basking at low tide, and were walking distance from a great view of the famous Mavericks surfing area. Truly can't say enough about the whole experience, it was ideal for our family.

Wonderful home with great ocean views with very comfortable beds! We were thrilled to receive such a delicious welcome basket full of lots of snacks, treats and personal supplies such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant and a nice bottle of wine. The property manager Sarah was great, her fast response time and communication was excellent.

A bunch of friends arrived in Half Moon Bay for another friend’s memorial, so eight of us rented this property for the weekend. The backyard fire pit allowed us a great spot to entertain a few other friends. The best part of the whole thing is the stupendous ocean view from the front balcony. Wow! I would rent this again in a heartbeat. Loved it!

We were in the area for a wedding in Montara. This home was great. Sarah was easy to deal with and very responsive. She also left a very nice welcome basket with snacks and other helpful items like toothbrushes and deodorant just in case we had forgotten something. We also appreciated the coffee in the cupboard and a few items in the refrigerator. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The views of the ocean are terrific and the porch was a great place to hang out and watch the waves.

We are from PNW, and we’re visiting for a family celebration. The house has a great upstairs layout including a nice deck with spectacular views of the ocean. Conveniently located so we could shuttle down the coast, and very accessible to some terrific hikes to the beach, parks or restaurants. The ADU In the backyard was very helpful for our larger group. Loved it.

Such a great experience spending time by the beach with a small group of good friends. Beautiful & clean home, easy check in process, nice views of the beach/sunsets. Lots of extra blankets for lounging around and watching TV, extra towels for the beach. Also had a cute fenced backyard! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had the pleasure to stay at this Moss Beach property in January and it was fabulous! The home is wonderful for a group gathering with ocean views to die for! With 4 bedrooms and open living/kitchen/dining areas you can enjoy group settings as well as privacy too. The living areas had so many windows that you can enjoy the ocean views inside and out all day. The queen size beds/linens are soooo comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook all our meals (even a large Turkey roaster). Our host responded quickly to a few questions we had with no issues during our stay. Thank you Sarah for the convenient host goodies that came in handy. Can’t wait to visit this property again!

Sarah was the most wonderful host! Her beautiful home is in a perfect location with incredible views. It is located close enough to shopping conveniences yet far enough away to feel completely at peace on the ocean. The layout is inviting both inside and out, spacious and perfect for different sleeping arrangements/privacy with larger groups. It's in a quiet neighborhood which makes it so nice to enjoy the sound of the ocean from the huge deck and is conveniently located steps from the bluffs and trails to Pillar Point Harbor. The home is light, bright, airy and the decor and spa like bedrooms made for a very relaxing experience. Our entire family was happy and smiling the entire stay. Sarah is wonderful to work with, we will definitely be back!
