This home is in a quiet neighborhood with great ocean views. We wanted a home a little outside of San Fransico to get away and relax and this was a great choice to stay when not out sightseeing. Plenty of room for family and located near woods & ocean. Communication with owner was great & very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I were welcomed into this cozy home with spectacular views, well kept home, and very clean from top to bottom - inside to outside! Fully furnished, stocked with all the dishware we needed, and plenty of pods for the instant coffee maker. Board games in the closet, table tennis in the garage, outdoor furniture, very cozy hot tub location, the sound of waves all day and night! The detached room was a wonderful place for any one of us to hide out for a few moments and listen to just the sound of the waves and the breeze coming over the coast. Everything was in working order, we had no issues and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Owners communicated very promptly and professionally when contacted. And this property is on the border of the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve - if you don't know, look it up! Nature walk trails, beached harbor seals, views of whales in the distance, tidepools to explore. We had a very memorable time at this house. Very much recommended!

Amazing time. Views are outstanding. accommodation’s were great. Very clean & comfortable, plenty of room. The writers room is a must to sleep in. The sound of waves as you fall asleep, l slept like a baby. Cannot wait to go back. Maybe in August or September not June gloom next time. But still amazing despite the fog.

Our family of 4 recently stayed at this VRBO property in hopes for a peaceful getaway and this home absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. The spacious accommodation, stunning ocean views off the deck, beautiful trails, and walking access to a marine reserve created an incredibly serene atmosphere. My absolute favorite spot was just few feet away from the driveway where there was a bench that you can just sit on in quiet, and find comfort watching the sunset over the ocean. It was the most beautiful and peaceful moment for me personally. Our kids (age 8 & 11) also loved this home, with lots of space to hang out downstairs, run around in backyard, indoor games, and a cute sunroom. The kids room was super cute and it’s clear the owners thought of everything for their guests. If you have kids, it’s definitely going to be ideal for your family. The owners were excellent hosts, and very kind people. I can’t wait until we come back, and in the meantime, we will share this listing with all of our family/friends. Beautiful view of the ocean! Loved the location. The hot tub wasn't working as advertised. The freezer had a huge chunk of frost ... maybe a seal problem. The WiFi wouldn't let additional users the first night. The one queen in the big room needed a box springs. But overall we had an awesome time. Too bad the reserve was closed for exploring the tide pools.

The house was perfect for our family of four "mini-vacation" (four day long weekend) to the San Francisco area. Located about halfway between SF and Palo Alto on the coast. With two teen-aged kids, we were less than an hour from SF (and day trip to Muir Woods), and we were also 45 minutes from Stanford for a college visit. Nearby Half Moon Bay, and we did another day trip down to Monterey/Carmel. The house itself is great: very clean and well furnished, with multiple bedrooms, and otherwise "as-advertised." Great communication with the owner. Steps from the nearby nature preserve, which we also greatly enjoyed each day. It was beautiful seeing the west-coast sunset over the Pacific (including at the nearby Moss Beach Distillery restaurant)!

The house made me and my family feel safe and comfortable. The decor in the house was fresh and welcoming! The only disappointment we had was the beach park in front of the home was closed down permanently. It was a short walk to the nearest beach. It was not a deal breaker because the views were breath taking, although the reason we did decide to pay a higher price was to have quick access to the beach from our home. Since the park is permanently closed now it might be a good idea to update the beach access options. Other than that we enjoyed it very much!

This house was amazing! Beautiful in every way! Came over with my mom, daughter and her friends for her 13th birthday! Girls had a great time hanging out and relaxing in the hot tub! Kitchen was fully stocked! Gorgeous views! Would come back again!!!

This place was as described, down to the cabinet knobs that will snag your clothes and knock your hand. Loved everything except the beach access during the winter. Wasn’t able to enjoy the beach right in front of us. Otherwise awesome!

This was the perfect location to bring 6 high schoolers to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. Hiking, hot tub, lunch at the iconic Pacifica Taco Bell, beach walks, beautiful views and a great kitchen to cook in. Cozy, well appointed and perfect for small groups or families. This is a beautiful house with stunning water views. Works best for a family because of the bathroom arrangement...small common bath on entry level, then upstairs (where the living/dining/kitchen area is) the bath is in the master bedroom. A bit awkward. The house is will appointed.and the kitchen is well equiped, but NO food/condiments/etc.other than coffee. We did encounter ants in the kitchen, and there were bait things, but they did nothing to keep the ants away. We'd go back now that we know what to expect.

Spent our yearly family holiday getaway here. Beautiful home with everything you could ask for plus more. The ocean views from the kitchen, living room and deck were breath taking. Lots of room to spread out. Most of the bedrooms were downstairs and a hot tub off the 1st floor. The amazing kitchen (stocked with everything you need to cook), living room, dining room and master bedroom were on the 2nd floor. If I have to knit pick the only con was that the only bathroom upstairs was part of the master suite. This was an wonderful experience, thank you for sharing your home with us.

My self and family stayed at this house during the pumpkin festival recently. The property was amazing! Right down the street from beach access. The porch over looking the water was a great place to sit and relax. Check in and check out were super easy. Clean and a great place to bring kids because they could run around in the back yard. Only note would be maybe need some drapes or blinds on the room outside by the hot tub. We would defiantly stay here again.

The house was as pictured and was very clean. The view and sounds of the ocean were spectacular. One thing i was a little disappointed in was that the two fireplaces shown in the pictures were decorative, not operational. It did get chilly in the evening and a fire would have been awesome, even from a fire pit. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend.

This home is truly lovely, with a stunning view and relaxing layout that's perfect for unwinding. Colors are soothing, beds are super comfy, and everything is very clean. The beach is only two minutes away, and be sure to hurry back for a dip in the hot tub. My only complaint is the knobs on the kitchen cabinets, which have a fluted aluminum piece on that easily catches on your clothes. They ripped a hole in a favorite pair of pants as I was walking by, and almost ripped a second pair! But overall: extremely satisfied, and would highly recommend.

Everything was beyond our expectations, it wasn’t only clean but very comfortable. Slept like a log. Just the atmosphere the neighborhood everything it’s for no words you have to go on experience it it was magical. Thank you so much to our hosts. They were amazing.

I love hearing the waves at night and the serene ocean view. The house was cleaned and well stocked especially in the kitchen. The house was a-little cold at times but I appreciated the heaters that was an option. I had a great stay . I look forward staying again and again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moss Beach. Even though it was cold, it was a good excuse to enjoy the view and the hot tub. We would certainly re-visit this VRBO home.
