This brand new 5,000 sq. ft. custom-built lodge is a 6-bedroom, 5 bathroom amazing property with one of the best views of Terry Peak and other surrounding hills in the area. Whether it's you and your friends visiting, a corporate retreat, or a family reunion, this custom-built property has been completely designed from the ground up to give you enough space to spread out and enjoy your Black Hills vacation!
It's located in the very popular Powder House Pass development that's in the heart of the Northern Hills recreational corridor with close proximity to ATV/Snowmobile trails, skiing at Terry Peak, minutes from Spearfish Canyon, 15 minutes into Deadwood, and an hour away from Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake and more! Snowmobile Trail #5 is even situated at the edge of the property! You'll love the fully paved roads to the property, hi-speed 1 Gig internet, good cellular phone coverage and easy parking. This house is amazing! View, clean, roomy for a large family and has everything you need. Just love the lay out. Bedrooms are large and separated in a way everyone feels they have their own space. Location is Perfect! Away from the hustle and bustle. Lots of Privacy. Distance between Mt. Rushmore and Custer about 1 hour. Definitely Recommend. Management team excellent.

This house is amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfy, ample parking space for our trailers, house has a great layout and amazing space for groups. We’ve stayed in other houses we’ve rented from Black Hillls Adventure Lodging and they are AMAZING to work with, so helpful and friendly. And whoever their house cleaning crew is does top notch work because the houses are always absolutely spotless. We would definitely rent this house again and will be renting from Black Hills Adventure Lodging again!

Our family loved the location, space and everything about this beautiful home. I especially appreciated the faith touches in the decor and book of Psalms in my favorite room, the sunroom. My only regret is the impending blizzard/storm robbing us of 15 hours to relax and enjoy Christmas dinner, evening and coffee the next morning prior to scheduled departure. Would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Beautiful views, very clean and well laid out home, in a convienent area! Only thing I’d suggest is adding shower glass to the huge tiled showers. This property is amazing. We had a large group of family come over for gatherings and at no point did we feel crowded. High ceilings upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of seating, and a beautiful kitchen with a huge island for prep. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers. We will definitely have this on our list to stay again. Clean, airy and modern. The view is spectacular with beautiful windows. Coffee on the porch in the mornings and drinks on the porch at night are a must.

Perfect for family get together. Bed rooms allowed for privacy. We could gather in the big rooms for meals and entertainment. Even with the 20 people gathered there noise level wasn’t too confusing The deck area was so enjoyable especially in morning and evening. Enjoyed watching a little bit of wild life too. WE appreciated big driveway and garage. We had 7 cars, 3 trailers and side by sides and no problems. Enjoyed using Club house pool and game room.
The only reason I gave 4 stars on communication with VRBO was I just would like to have known when they received my ID info and agreement. They were easy to work with, sent great directions and info

We had a great time at this location. The open floorplan provided enough space for everyone to visit and the location was convenient to local attractions. One downside is that there is only one bathroom for the two bunk rooms and one king room in the lower level. Those staying in those rooms had to share or use the bathrooms upstairs or in the other king bedroom downstairs. Overall, we would stay there again.

What a beautiful get away for a belated family Christmas. Home was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room, and activities to do in the house, and close by. We had children, so we enjoyed sledding, skiing, and snowmobiling. Hot tub was also a fun activity. We made all of our meals there, nice kitchen. We could never get the coffee maker to work correctly. And we are a big coffee drinking crew. So we went and bought pods as there is a drip and pod coffee maker there. I would bring pods, the drip coffee maker we could never get to work properly. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The Summit on Dancing Sky has stunning views and is in a beautiful location. We met for a large family gathering over Thanksgiving so naturally there was a lot of cooking involved. With that said, though the kitchen has nice appliances, they are very sparse for hosting a large group. Food storage containers, ziplock bags, tin foil, ect would be nice to have on hand. We also found tp, paper towels, trash bags, ect were not sufficient for a large group. Hangers in the closets, more coat hangers in the mudroom/garage and towel hooks by the sliding door going out to the hot tub is a must as we had no where to hang/dry used towels. Simple amenities as the ones suggested above would make this place a regular large family gathering. Everything else was wonderful.

This home was wonderful, from the moment you drive up it is gorgeous! When walking into the home, it has beautiful views, inside and out! The home has so many windows which makes it so nice to take in the beauty of the outdoor scenery. We had family come from Idaho, Minnesota, and Eastern South Dakota....from 4 months old to 60 years old, it accommodated us all. It was a very comfortable home, and allowed enough room for everyone to be entertained, whether by sitting at the table playing cards, or downstairs playing pool, or sitting out in the hottub, or out front on the driveway playing was just so nice.

Great place for 9 people, everyone had their own bedroom. There was somthing for everyone, pool table, foos ball, community pool & hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some (insta pot and crock pot, didn't use either). The huge island was a great hang out place for everyone to gather for coffee in the am and a glass of wine in the evening. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we travel back to the area.

Great Retreat Space!!!
Wonderful property despite the concrete being laid while on vacation!!! Dryer had some issues with the venting and it kept having an error during the drying process. The property when fully finished yard work and concrete will be amazing.
