We enjoyed our stay. We had a small hiccup upon arrival and the owner took care of it immediately. House was plenty big and clean. FYI — the pool is in the backyard of the neighbor’s house. The listing isn’t clear on that.

pool was awkwardly right outside the neighbors back door, pool wasn’t clean . House inside bathroom downstairs leaking and upstairs shower did not drain.

We were in town for my sisters bachelorette and this was the perfect place to call home! It was quiet, the pool was fantastic, and they were so sweet! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

We had a great time at Kate and Jim’s house! The house was comfortable and clean with on site parking. Its central location made it easy for us to get to all the attractions and sights. The pool was very refreshing and the backyard was beautiful. Looking forward to our next stay!

The house & property was better than it looks (this never happens)! This is the best rental we’ve stayed at hands down! It’s huge, spacious, clean & not cluttered. The yard, patio & pool were all amazing while Kate & Jim were beyond lovely & accommodating. Were already planning our next stay there.

Fantastic stay in the heart of RI, closely located to Newport & Providence. Hosts were super friendly with all requests (live next door) The house was stocked with all the items we needed for a short trip. AC worked very well, and we enjoyed the large backyard with grill and pool. Would highly recommend for any families looking for a place to relax, while being central to local attractions.

I found this vbro for my mother and family to stay at during my wedding in Newport. The house was perfect very spacious and accommodating. The pool was a great touch, my nephews got to jump in. The host was so kind, always there if we needed help (we locked ourselves out once and they came right over to help). They also let us check out late because we were packing up all of this wedding stuff. Overall fabulous stay we definitely recommend them.

We had a wedding in Middletown and the location was ideal. Close to everything on the island and the house was very clean. The owners were responsive when needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This rental was awesome!! It was far enough away from the Newport hustle and bustle to be relaxing, but close enough for anything we needed. It was clean, well stocked, and the owners were very friendly and attentive. We will be recommending this rental to anyone that asks, and if we visit the Newport area again, it will be our go-to spot!

Short family trip to RI. Owners were suoer seeet. It was nice to have the pool and backyard for the kids to unwind. We also enjoyed an amazing breakfast at their restaurant (The Hungry Monkey) before heading home.

Our group of 7 had an excellent experience at this rental. Jim and Kate are wonderful hosts and made our stay very comfortable. The house is roomy and has a very nice back yard and patio. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Stores nearby for convenient grocery shopping. Not too far from Newport's downtown area. Definitely recommend!

The house was spacious and comfortable. Someone took great care to create a beach theme throughout the house. We really appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards to use at the beach. The house was in a great location, within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do while we were in town for a wedding. The kitchen is not well equipped if you plan to cook. There was one sauté pan that was in ok shape, but the one sauce pan needs to be replaced. There were plenty of cups and dishes but limited cooking supplies. The dishwasher did not work so we had to rewash all the dishes we used prior to using, and hand wash after using them. We used the dishwasher as a drying rack. We spent a long time talking with the owner, and he was a lovely and gracious host.

Everything was wonderful! The hosts were so easy to communicate with and genuinely thoughtful. Although the weather didn’t cooperate having a pool in the back was great! Lots of space to spread out- conveniently located to literally everything! Would absolutely recommend!

Perfect summer getaway! House was clean and exactly as pictured. Check in process was very simple. Use of the pool was a game changer for us! Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating- will plan to return next year.

This is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends. The house is lovely and a short drive to down town. Beautiful flowers and pool on the property. Easily accessible by Uber/Lyft. The host was very responsive and helpful. It was an incredible trip and the perfect place to stay in Newport.

Great location and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The dishwasher didn't work and one of the towel racks was broken upstairs, but the beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels for all of us. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this house. The location is perfect and within 10 minutes to the beach, the Breakers (and other famous mansion area) Cliff Walk, and less than a mile to the Naval base. Upon check-in we were greeted by Jim who brought over some pastries which was a pleasant surprise. Our family enjoyed using the pool and having a house to spread out in. The pool is accessed from a shared, fenced in back yard. Beach towels, chairs, etc were provided. Very quiet neighborhood. Great place to stay!

Everything was easy, with clear communication. A grocery store was a 6 min walk away which was a big plus for me who arrived a day earlier than my family who brought the car.

Our family really enjoyed staying here. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of space outside for the kids to play. Very clean and comfortable. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but not too far from Second Beach and downtown Newport. Jim and Katie are very friendly and responsive.

We came to Rhode Island for a long weekend with family! The property is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of room for each of us (there were four of us with our own room)! We were 12 minutes from downtown Newport! Jim and Kate answered all our questions, we’re vet accommodating, and gave us some GREAT suggestions for restaurants! The house was clean and very zen! The yard was beautiful and we got to enjoy Kate and Jim’s dogs Percy and Jackson when we saw them outside! Great neighborhood for walking and bike riding! We will book again!!

Our home was absolutely perfectly located with easy access into Newport and the house could not have been more lovely or perfect for our needs! Lots of bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, and a yard for the kids to play in! To top it off, the home owners could not have been any more lovely! Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful time on a recent 3 day stay in which the hosts of this property (Jim and Kate) were what made it special. In their spare time, they distribute food to the community which they receive from a local business. Both Jim and Kate are also very hospitable. Our one problem with the dishwasher was attended to promptly by Jim’s call to their plumber. No big problem. We found the home very well decorated and clean. Everyday supplies were provided. Newport attractions and restaurants were a short ride away. Overall, a good place to make as a central location for a trip to the Newport area.

We had a wonderful long weekend here. The pool is great. The hosts Kate and Jim live next door and are so genuinely kind, friendly, and so gracious and generous. The house is beautiful, as is the backyard and pool area. There is a patio and so much space for kids to have fun. Really a wonderful experience.

We came to Middletown for a graduation at the Naval Station. The house very convenient to the base and just a short drive to downtown Newport. The house was very clean and nicely decorated in a coastal theme. The backyard was great as well. Hope to return to beautiful Newport soon and would certainly select this home again. Owners were friendly and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Kate and Jim (owners/host) were very friendly and easy to communicate with. We met Jim in person at the property and he even offered me some beers lol! The property was clean and exactly as depicted in the photos. We were able to enjoy the pool, and at night, the fire pit was already going which was unexpected so of course we took advantage of that as well. We were here for 3 days with our parents and 2 children, both under 2. The location is 10 minutes from the beach and downtown Newport which made going out pretty easy. Everyone had a great stay and we’ll definitely be returning. Thanks Kate & Jim!
