Nestled against the backdrop of Florida's nature coast, the Island Place is a romantic getaway showcasing the natural beauty and serenity of a secluded tropical isle. Our beautiful condos are located in Cedar Key directly on the Gulf of Mexico amid a true nature preserve, swaying palms and warm Gulf breezes. Renew the spirit and stir the soul in a paradise of tropical splendor. POOL IS CLOSED FROM 7/26 TO 7/28. Walk out your unit and you will find a pool located directly on the Gulf! Grills are park style and at end of complex. Bring utensils, charcoal, grill brush and lighter fluid. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a fun and exciting vacation destination, we will fill and exceed your expectations for comfort and location. The complex is designed to lend itself to the historical flavor of Cedar Key. We are next to the city marina, and just a few steps away from fine restaurants, shopping and grocery store. This is a pet friendly unit! Pet fee is as follows: Pet fee is $50 per pet per visit, 1 pet maximum.. If you did not pay a pet fee on booking, please contact us immediately. Evidence of pets in unit without paying the pet fee as required will result in a penalty of $300 charge to your card on file. Please check with us on any other pets. We do require that pets do not get on bed or furniture. Please do not leave barking dogs in the unit. Please pick up after your pet when outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: There is no boat parking available onsite. There is public boat parking available one block east or two blocks to the north across from the market. PLEASE NOTE: Our Pool is closed for chemical treatment on Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The location of this place was amazing, you could easily walk to anywhere you needed. The back deck had a beautiful view, and the units are staggered so it gives you privacy from the neighbors. We will definitely be back!

Cedar Key is Old Florida at its finest. The unit was perfect a size for my husband and I. Everything we needed was available. The decor is beachy and comfortable. We will be back!

Beautiful property located right on the water. So relaxing sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. Great location. Property is 1 block from all the shops and boat ramps, you don’t need to drive anywhere. Will definitely be back!

I randomly picked Cedar Key as a stop on our way home from key west/everglades. Cedar Key is a small charming town. The restaurants and shops were great. People are friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was great. It had everything we needed. Sitting on the balcony on the water was peaceful and relaxing. The pool was wonderful. New decking, great furniture and umbrellas for shade. Wished we could've stayed longer.

What a great few days we had here. Weather was gloomy. That’s ok because we were in super chill mode and walked around chatting up the locals. Steamers was great and loved reading about the history of Cedar Key. Thanks for providing a great clean place. We would love to visit again. Peace, Steve & Jamie

We absolutely loved it. Perfect set up. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Perfect spot for dolphins. We loved setting on the balcony watching the dolphins. Very friendly and welcoming little town.

The unit was very clean and management very helpful and communicative. Very close proximity to restaurants, shops, etc. Overall great experience and looking forward to coming back. Absolutely love that we could bring our four-legged family member!! Note: The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 for accuracy of online listing was the beach picture. The picture in the listing makes it look very walkable and useable, when in reality it is full of rocks and barnacles. It still was very enjoyable hearing the waves from the awesome deck. The unit itself was as pictured.

This was a very clean spot right on the water, with fishing boats leaving within 50 feet from the outside deck in the morning. It is old Florida at its best. Though plenty of opportunity for technology exists, this is a great place to see dolphins, read, swim in the pool, eat great seafood and just check out from the cares of daily life....

We loved Cedar Key and Island Place! It was our first time to the area and enjoyed every minute. Island Place is a great location to easily walk to everything, watch the fishing boats, and dolphin play. We experienced some excellent meals, quaint shops and very nice people. We will be back.

The experience was good and we will stay again. We have a wedding coming up in April and would like to book some rooms. I wanted to speak to someone about it but the office was closed. Only cons were that our room was very close to the bridge workers and I dont think I would take a bottom floor again with all the foot traffic above. Aside from that, It was a beautiful, well stocked and maintained place. ~ Thank you
