Although the weather was pretty bad, because of the hot tub, downstairs covered area, and the arrangement and choice of furniture etc. everyone had plenty of privacy as well as room to be together when desired. We are talking about rebooking for next year and hoping for better weather. Also, the staff of Beachside was courteous and helpful at all times. Thank You so much

Cozy space on the beach. Nice layout. A few pros and cons.
Pros: location is great. Nice view of the ocean and sunrise from the porch. Short walk (over the sand dunes) to the beach. Layout of outdoor space was very nice with pool, pool area, and hot tub (once we figured out how to use it). Enjoyed the multiple bathrooms. Best part of the rental was hands down the service we received from the rental company, beach rentals. Very responsive. Checked on us throughout our stay. Offered to fix issues the same day. Delivered ice as often as we needed since the ice machine was broken. Brought an extension cord. Also, Grateful for some beach items, include beach chairs!
Cons: some parts of the home worn (kitchen cabinets, carpet in the bedrooms). Cleanliness was a concern. Not horrific, but enough to be bothersome. There were layers of dust on picture frames, fans. Scum on shower curtain. Slow drain in bathtub Mold in bathrooms. Stains on carpet. Wood floors were very dirty (wiped water off floor and paper towel was black). Stains on couch and carpets. Observed a few roaches (this is the south and expected to a degree, but still unpleasant).

Our second stay in this beautiful house didn’t disappoint. It’s not only well maintained, but the beds, linens and furniture are super comfortable. You could run a restaurant out of the fully stocked kitchen that even includes blenders, bake ware and a crock pot. The covered patio next to the pool was perfect for some elderly family members, and access to the beach was a breeze. The staff at the rental agency was so responsive even after hours and on the weekend with even the smallest question. We hope to stay again soon!

This property was amazing! Every part of it was perfect for my family. The floor plan was great. Three bedrooms upstairs, three bedrooms downstairs, and great living spaces on both floors. There’s a beautiful view from the deck with plenty of comfortable seating options in both upper and lower outdoor spaces. The pool and hot tub were the perfect size and kept clean throughout our stay.
The property was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes/pots/pans.
The house was in a quiet and secluded neighborhood as well. We had neighbors on all sides but felt we had the beach all to ourselves the whole week! We can’t say enough good things about this property and our stay!

Great vacation home, short walk to the beach, close to stores/restaurants, well cleaned and kept home with all that you need, comfy beds and wonderful to work with property team. We had a couple of very minor questions and they were all over it. An added bonus the pool was heated which was perfect! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend.

Our group of 13 had a wonderful week at this house. The kitchen was fully stocked with more than any house we’ve stayed in before. The beds and linens were comfy and soft which isn’t always the case with rentals. We loved the open floor plan and pool level living room for the kids. The house looks a bit small and dated from the outside but the interior is up to date and well maintained. Perfect location for walks or biking to Coligny. The rental company checked on us several times but we didn’t have a single issue. Easy 5 star rating from our crew. Definitely Recommend.

The location was perfect. Easy access to beach and pool worked well. Open area upstairs met all our needs to keep family together for fun. All items were working well and only other benefit would be a large ice maker to avoid daily trips out for cold drinks at pool. The suppliers for rental were top-notch and helped with all issues including good suppliers for rental equipment for even more fun. Thanks for including linens, saves on packing. The ONLY improvement would be no steps to the beach access so easier access with beach wagon. But, the neighborhood access is on other side of fence, so we just went through the front. We will need space for more people next year, but we will recommend you to anyone needing space for ~12 people.

The house is located away from the crowded parts of the beach. The house was very comfortable for our family of 5 couples and 2 toddlers and 2 babies. We ony had one issue with the A/C upstairs not working. When we called they responded immediately and had it repaired within the hour. We would return again

Our family of kids 8-10yo, parents & grandparents thoroughly enjoyed our week at that spot. Beautiful ocean views and easy beachfront access. Well-appointed kitchen. Fantastic heated pool & attached h or tub. Only snafu was lack of clear instructions for hot tub & pool operation and brief issue with chlorinator, but Beachside Getaway staff and pool service company were prompt in their responses.

The layout of the property was absolutely perfect. Great view of the ocean and only a short walking distance away. We had 6 children there, age ranges 2 years to 6 years, they had a great time.
I only had one complaint, the cookware in the kitchen could use some updating.

Gorgeous beach home
Even better than the pictures, this huge home was perfect for our family to reunite for a relaxing beach week. The super wide beach was steps away and the pristine, secluded pool was perfect for evening fun. The kitchen was well stocked for large parties and had just about any cooking item you could need. Clean, comfy, quiet - will definitely rent again!

Perfect location on the quiet stretch of Forest Beach and only a short bike ride to Coligny. An abundance of outdoor seating. The shallow end of the pool was wonderful for our small children. The kitchen was better stocked than my kitchen at home. Had absolutely everything we needed. Will definitely stay at this house again.

Charming Beachfront House
The house was great - in terms of location and set up. The only improvements I would suggest is to get better liens. It is a very easy fix and I would have given this place a 5 star review if they could get better bed linens. Management company had the cleaning people drop off new sheets but they were still stiff/scratchy. Also it would have been nice if the downstairs master had an en-suite bathroom.

The pool is much bigger than other houses in the area and the extended ledge is great for young children.Two comments for those planning a stay with larger families: (1) The house is definitely one bathroom short on the upper level. 60th Birthday Celebration
"Overall, our experience was very good. The online pics make the house appear more spacious than it is but it still worked well for our adult party of six. The furniture needs updating as there were stains on the cushions of the couch and some dining chairs. It didn’t appear that anyone had cleaned beneath the furniture.
We had to purchase additional paper towels, tin foil, baggies, etc. These items are typically staples in other houses I have rented. Also, the ice machine was disgusting. We had to take it apart and clean it.
Response time from the management team was not good over the weekend but other times it was good.
The view from the house was amazing. And a very quick walk to the beach. This and the hot tub made the experience ideal. However, we were disappointed to find out that the hot tub and pool heaters had not been turned in prior to our arrival. It took a good day for the hot tub to get warm and the pool never did warm up.
One very nice thing the management firm did for me/us was obtain a shower chair as I broke my femur 4 weeks prior to our trip and was unable to stand in both legs.
When renting this property or any other, I highly recommend confirming important items that are shown in the listing prior to booking.
Our group would stay here again but would probably look at April or May when outside temps are warmer.

117 Dune Lane Great House and location Pool and Beach
We rented 117 Dune Lane for a week at the end of July for our family of 7 adults and 3 children, ages 1-60. Located on N. Forest Beach, it’s an easy one-mile bike ride to Coligny Circle where there are restaurants, shops, and ice cream stores. With 3 bedrooms and a living space on each floor, it’s a perfect house for families. One bedroom is designed for children with 2 bunk beds and their own TV. The bathrooms are updated. The house is nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Dining table seats 10 comfortably plus counter bar stools. The large capacity washer and dryer were the best I have ever had in a rental.
The house is just steps to the beach. This part of the beach was never crowded as the house is set amongst other individual homes, approximately halfway between the public beach near Coligny Circle and a resort.
The outdoor space is great. Larger pool with a shelf on one end, perfect for our grandsons to play on. 8 comfortable lounge chairs by the pool. Upper deck over looks pool and beach, with an outdoor table that seats 6 plus rockers and loungers. The lower patio, shaded by the upper deck, has another table with 6 seats.
We rented bikes for the week at a discount from the place the owner suggested and couldn’t have been happier. She was also helpful with golf course suggestions. The rental company was quick to respond to any questions or issues before and during our stay.
We do have a few suggestions.
This is the first beach house we have rented that didn’t have beach/sand chairs and an umbrella. The leasing agent said we could rent them. But for the price to rent this house, 3-4 chairs purchased at the end of the season wouldn’t cost much and a plus for those who fly to this destination.
The outside patio and deck are spacious, but the tables on each level just seat 6. We wished there was a larger table outside so that we could have eaten dinner together on the deck.
The dishwasher never dried the dishes, regardless what heat setting we tried. We had to towel dry everything even when it sat drying overnight. We also had to use the high temp wash setting in order to get things clean.
One very small thing might be to have a makeup mirror (magnified and/or lighted) in the master bath. Also, we had a couple in our group who were working during our stay and the wi-fi speed was slow.
Great location. Great house and pool plus beach. We loved our stay at this house and would definitely recommend it!

Little piece of paradise
My five children and 6 grandchildren had such a wonderful time here! The view is hard to beat and the house was well stocked with necessities, beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the pool and easy beach access. Management responded immediately to any issue we had.
One thing with toddlers on the upper deck, the safety cables around the rails can snap off without a great deal of pressure, keep little one away from the rails, we put up a big playpen for them most of the time.

Fun, relaxing, enjoyable
The property was perfect for our use. We had 10 people, ranging from ages 1 to 87, with plenty of room to spread out. The house was very clean and provided amenities enjoyable for everyone. The layout was perfect for napping children as well as provided plenty of entertainment for them as well (especially the unique pool). Great access to the beach and view of the ocean from upper level! Great location on HHI (10 minutes to either Salty Dog Cafe or Harbortown). Everyone had a great time and we would definitely come back.

Perfect holiday with family
Even though a hurricane was looming, we had a fabulous time at 117 Dune. Large enough home for 9 adults to have their own space with plenty of bathrooms for 5 women to get ready! And the outdoor spaces were beautiful. Especially enjoyed sitting on the top deck looking at the ocean. Just steps from the beach so very easy to run back for a quick snack. We loved it and hated to leave!

perfect family vacation
Perfect weather added to our enjoyment of Bluebell and the North Forrest Beach. The layout allowed the little ones to enjoy the pool and beach and hangout in the lower level, while the adults could enjoy the upper level after the kids were sleeping. The location on the beach was also away from the fray, but a quick walk north or south put you around a lot of activity.
