About this house rental
Perfect Lake Murray vacation spot for the family. So much to do & something for everyone - a shallow area for the little ones to play & deep water for swimming & floating. Includes a swing set for the kiddos & a canoe and kayak to explore the lake. Has a large yard great for frisbee, whiffle ball, glowstick freeze tag or lying on a blanket & gazing at the stars.
House is located at the end of cove with a dock for your boat or fishing the famous Lake Murray. A great blue heron & several breeds of ducks hang out around the dock on most days.
Nestled beside a large, old magnolia tree, a glassed sunroom allows an unobstructed view of the lake. A large deck with Adirondack chairs is a great place to watch the sun setting over the lake as the purple martins arrive for their summer vacation.
We invite you to come and enjoy your own private get-a-way at Magnolia on Murray. It's a three-bedroom house with 2.5 bathrooms. There is a queen bed in 2 bedrooms and a twin bed & twin bunk beds with a trundle in the third bedroom. Appliances include a full-size stainless refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, and coffee maker. House has central heat and air and a propane grill for outdoors.
So bring a good book, your swimsuit, your fishing pole and come relax.
The house is located just 6 miles from beautiful Chapin, SC and 2 miles from Dreher Island State Park.
As pet owners ourselves we love providing you a place to bring your fur babies. We ask that you include pets when adding your number of guests and pay the $75 pet fee when booking. If you do not and we find that there have been pets in the home, we will be forced to charge additional fees.

We would stay again! The kitchen is well stocked, including spices and coffee! Things are neatly organized. Check in and check out process was easy. The dock is quite nice and affords a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake. We were there on a cold February weekend, but still enjoyed the deck and dock, then moved inside to the warmth of the gas fireplace.

we enjoyed our month there. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved getting up in the cool of the morning and turning on the fire place while having our coffee and watching the sun rise. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Clean, comfortable home with lots of light and great views of the cove. Porch, deck, and dock give you multiple ways to enjoy the lake setting. We visited in December, so the lake had been drawn down a lot, but I imagine it's extra-awesome in the summer!

Would highly recommend this property! It’s a lovely spacious home right on the lake, as described. Beautiful sunroom! We had a couple of issues and the property manager was highly responsive, coming same day. Kitchen is well stocked. Would be helpful to have a ladder off dock for exit after swimming, and canoe paddles. We did use the kayak and enjoyed exploring the lake! Also enjoyed a lovely hike at the nearby state park. We stayed here during USC graduation, and although it’s about 40 min away, it was worth it to have a spacious place to have the family all hang out together!

Peaceful and quiet bit within 20 minutes of everything you need
This was a very nice house on a lake. I picked this house because it had a sunroom that we could sit in the shade and play cards or read while listening to the sound of nature! Well worth the trip!

unexpected
when we were pulling up we said ok nice opened the front door it was like walking into 13/1/2 at the station if you know what i mean,we went with and for our daughter and son in law and 2 granddaughters they were in a triailon at dreher island we rented a phanton boat docked it picked up the ladies at the dock at the house wy son in law and i were heroes,the house and accomendations were perfect,highly recomend booking except for triailon next year at the same time we plan to

The property is perfectly situated. We got a nice little breeze and a wonderful view of the water. Loved the sunroom!

To return one day would be lovely. My daughter who is in Law Enforcement , needed this quiet getaway. It was perfect for her.

Weekend Getaway
We needed a place to stay for my son’s school fishing tournament and found this lovely home on Lake Murray. It was located just few minutes away from Dreher State park where the tournament was held. The hostesses we great, they were eager to help us feel at home during our stay! The house was clean and stocked with all our needs. I enjoyed my time watching the kids from the back sun room having fun in the back yard and fishing on the dock. We would love to come stay again this summer!

Beautiful and clean!
This house was so beautiful and so clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more from the stocked coffee bar to the basket of snacks and extra toiletries. The hosts responded immediately when we tripped a breaker and some lights went off and made sure we were okay. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and we had plenty of towels and blankets. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
