About this house rental
This brand-new luxury vacation rental is a short walk to the secluded North Beach on the Atlantic ocean and an even shorter walk to the inter-coastal waterway connecting the quiet Vilano Beach community to the city of St. Augustine.
Our vacation home is on two levels and features two Master Suites, a Bunk Room, futon, three bathrooms, a dedicated work space, a private heated pool and patio, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy your short-term or extended stay.
Our coastal beach home is tastefully decorated and custom designed with the highest standards: modern appliances, luxurious beds, bedding and furniture, ceiling fans, local art, TV’s in each bedroom, a DVD player, plenty of beach toys and towels, plus local books and games.
Our goal is to have our guests feel welcome and relaxed while staying in our home.
We have a relaxing front porch with a dining area, where you can enjoy a nice meal and cool drink under our porch fans, as well as a dining area next to our pool.
The local grocery store Publix and a gas station is just 2 miles away, a short 6 minute drive.
The St. Augustine Vistor’s Center is 5 miles away.
World Famous Restaurant’s Aunt Kates and Caps On The Water are less than two miles away
The Metro Diner and The Blue Hen are other restaurants loved by locals.
The safest way to access the Beach is to either walk 10 minutes to the Vilano Walkover Bridge or to drive the .5 mile distance and park there. There are public bathrooms, a shower, and a park pavilion. (There is a map in the vacation rental that outlines the safest route to the beach.) You can also just walk up 21st St. and access the beach from there.

The house was bright, clean and well furnished. Loved the heated pool! It’s a great location, one can walk to the beach and Aunt Kate’s restaurant and it’s a short drive to St. Augustine with its history, restaurants and shops. Kristal was a terrific host and got back to us very quickly. Not that we needed her very often because the house is in great shape.

Even in November, we enjoyed the pool. The layout of the main area was great for making dinners, lounging around and having a game going at the table all at the same time. Together, but doing our own thing... just what you want when traveling with teenagers. The beach was easily walkable and provided a wonderful respite! Close enough to St. Augustine's sites to visit when we wanted, but far enough away to escape to quiet as well.

Overall, Kristal was great! She is a fast communicator and allowed us to check in earlier which was greatly appreciated! Please be aware that there is a roach issue in the house. My guest and I sprayed the house countless times throughout our stay and there was always more. There were even some crawling on couches, majority of the issue was within the bunk bed room, bathroom and living room. Thankfully not a huge issue in the kitchen. I would not recommend staying here.

We greatly enjoyed the location of this home and the accommodations. It was only a couple blocks from the beach and made it easy by having towels, beach toys and chairs. The pool was very clean and relaxing after we returned from the salt water. The home was nicely laid out and very clean as well. The cleaners were accommodating by letting us drop off items early on the porch. The kids loves the gumball machines and bunk beds. Overall we had a great experience and the owner was very communicative when needed! Thank you!

We are very happy with our choice to stay here. Three bathrooms made it easy for 7 people. The house had everything you needed. Our boys fished at the end of the street, the beach was just a short drive and walk. Neighborhood was great to take walks around. Pool was a comfortable temperature. We rented this for 2 families for a week. It was perfect. The two primary bedrooms was especially nice. House was clean, well stocked, and well maintained. There were other rentals to the side and behind the house, but it never got too loud and it always still felt private. Pool is great, beach is just a short walk. Beds were really comfortable. We'd definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

This was our second visit to St. Augustine and Vilano Beach, the first being early February 2022. We picked this property because of its convenient location near the beach, the feel of the neighborhood and its perfect size for our family of 6. We enjoyed 14 days of splendid beach weather during which we would spend mornings and afternoons on the beach and then enjoy the pool on out return. The upstairs master suite with separate bathroom was perfect for my wife and I while our daughter’s family of 4 had the privacy of the two downstairs bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas grill so we were able to cook in a few times, although St. Augustine has many fabulous restaurants within a 10 minute drive. The house was spotlessly clean and the outside area was well kept.

Everything was so perfect. The house was so spacious and fit 9 female adults perfectly!! The heated pool felt so good with the cooler weather during our visit too. The neighborhood was quiet, clean, and pretty, and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach and short drive to St. Augustine and surrounding areas! Would absolutely come back to this house!!!

Great home to enjoy near Vilano beach. The house was very new but it was clearly bought and built to be a rental. The living room couches could only seat 5 people so be aware if you plan to have more than 5 people within your stay. The outdoor area, pool, and proximity to the beach are the best part of this rental

Anniversary Getaway
We enjoyed our stay, house was beautiful and the heated pool allowed pool time into the evening. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We enjoyed the sounds of the ocean while drinking our coffee on the front porch.
If I could change anything it would be to add some lattice and flower vines like jasmine to the tops of the fence outback to provide a little more privacy when enjoying the backyard/pool. But we very much enjoyed our time and plan to stay again. Thank you Krystal, you have a very nice place. 🙂

Perfect Beach Home for family
Home was immaculate, absolutely spotless.
We love this neighborhood and Vilano Beach in general. Plus: this home was literally one block from the inner-coastal and maybe 4 blocks from the beach. We ended up renting a golf cart for the week from a local company and it was perfect to get back and forth from the beach.
The double master bedrooms and 3 full baths were perfect for what we needed this week.
Pool was heated and meet all our needs. I would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect getaway
We had a great time! The house was immaculate, had a great layout, and was well-appointed. The heated pool was perfect and the heated outdoor shower was nice for returns from the beach. Also, all of the pool toys, beach accessories and wagon, and the gum-ball machines in the bedroom kept our kids occupied. There were a couple of nice restaurants to walk to and St. Augustine and other attractions were a short drive away. 10/10. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

While you can’t always count on the weather - you can definitely count on us coming back to this great beach retreat. The layout was great - having the three bedrooms and three full baths was perfect, and there was a really surprisingly comfortable amount of living space to gather in. The b&b was set up and decorated beautifully, and even stocked with little amenities we weren’t anticipating. We hit an unexpected cold spell and some major rain and we’re really glad to have the space we had. The pool was so nice for the one time we got in it! A quick ride to excellent restaurants and close to the shops in town - can’t wait to come back and take advantage of the beach!

Beautiful property and fantastic hosts!
We stayed at this new property for a family wedding weekend and our stay was absolutely perfect. Lots of space and privacy for two married couples plus one single adult. The heated pool was truly delightful, and very detail was anticipated. This is a premier property and worth the price, especially since you’ll pay very high rates for inferior hotel rooms in St. Augustine. Wish we’d been able to stay longer, but would definitely return!

Perfect!
We absolutely loved staying at this cottage! Everything you need was there and the decor was clean, modern, and new. The pool was fantastic and the property is an easy walk to the beach or if you have too much stuff the drive took thirty seconds:) We have rented many properties over the years and Kristal’s communication was by far the best we have ever experienced. She was wonderful! Another thing I really liked was there was a lockbox with an actual key. I like having that as opposed to a key code to let you in. Vilano is a chill area, quiet, which was great. It’s so close to downtown and restaurants and a Publix right down the street. We loved it so much we already rebooked!
