I was in New Orleans for a yearly convention that's hosted in different cities by the Prince Hall Shriners. The location of the property was idea for what I needed. Only minutes from the Convention Center, Canal and Bourbon Street but at the same time very quiet. I loved this property, I was floored by the nice hardwood flooring and fireplaces. It brought back memories of being with my great grandmother in south Georgia. Parking was an issue but not an issue if you know what I mean. There is paid parking about 50 yards from the property with a lot of space, I'd never hold that against the property though. The owners greeted me and were spot on to help if needed. I'd definitely get this property again if I'm in the area for any event. Also the property is literally minutes from the interstate.

My wife and I had a wonderful trip to NOLA, and loved getting to know the Lower Garden District better.
The house is beautiful, quiet and has everything you need with a perfect location. Walk down Magazine and you have some shopping, St Vincent Hotel (that has San Lorenzo restaurant!) and Surreys for the best breakfast/lunch.
WWII museum is a short walk away, as is St Charles St where you can pick up the streetcar to the French Quarter. Also, the bus picks up right across the street from the house. Get your self a RTA Jazzy Pass and you can ride all day for one flat fee. Rideshares are also plentiful.
We can’t wait to come back!

When we arrived at this beautiful property I quickly decided I'd be okay to never leave. The architecture of this 1870's historical home was just stunning, and the decor was minimalistic and inviting.
The house invites you in with a cozy, plant-laden porch where I enjoyed sipping coffee and watching the people pass by. You step into a living room with a couch and chair and a large TV with images so crisp you feel like the people are in the room.
Next is a dining area where we had our meals and I worked from. The kitchen is the next room and was well stocked with cookware and spices, a dishwasher, toaster and single-cup coffee maker. I cooked dinner several times on the gas stove/oven and there were plenty of dishes/silverware for the four of us.
The next room is a bedroom, followed by a hallway with a bathroom and shower fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, towels, wash rags, blow dryer, etc.
The bathroom hallway connects the two bedrooms both with comfortable queen-sized beds, dressers, plenty of extra bedding/pillows/towels, as well as a laundry room.
I was there with my son and two of his friends as his graduation gift. The three teenage boys played video games in the front room well into the night and I was undisturbed with any of their music, laughter, etc. I couldn't even hear it!
The owner provides natural products for cleaning/bathing. Great location near lots of restaurants and short drive from most attractions. We felt safe & welcomed. Would stay again!

Very clean and charming home to stay while visiting New Orleans and the French quarter. A/C and fans kept the space comfortable day and night. Kitchen beautiful with everything you need. Bathroom and shower were great. Close to trolley and about 30 minute walk to the French quarter.

This cute house is nicely remodeled and better than pics show. It is in a good location in lower garden district close to shopping on Magazine st and close to convention center. We used house as a staging area for a wedding in a nearby venue

We had an excellent time at this place. It is in the Garden District and just a short walk from the WW2 Museum and the St Charles streetcar line.
It is exactly as advertised and the landlord was super responsive. We highly recommend this place.

Great location, beautiful home, helpful Hosts. This home has it all. We loved being close to everything while enjoying the nighttime quiet away from the quarter. An easy walk to restaurants or the street car was a bonus. The hosts had great suggestions for restaurants and the area is lovely. The home had everything we needed to enjoy our trip and had so many little touches that made traveling with family easier. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely older home in great shape and in a great location. There is a coffee shop on the same block and several good walkable restaurants. Mr. Wolf is very responsive to messages and a pleasure to interact with. We had a very nice stay and would love to come again.

My husband and two adult children came to stay at this beautiful home. We were excited for our long weekend stay to enjoy Mardi Gras with nearby friends. The house is so beautiful inside. It really is just comfortable and well appointed with glossy wood floors and tall ceilings and ceiling fans in every room. Situated close to downtown and the WWII museum, Magazine St. shopping and dining as well as just a couple blocks from St. Charles (trolley) provides a great base. The beds are clean and comfy - plenty of pillows and blankets. Kitchen has everything you need. Washer and Dryer works great. Living room is comfortable and a tv in almost every room. I love the decor - simple but tasteful. One bathroom is small, but we all managed just fine. It has everything you will need - hairdryer, lots of fluffy white towels, and even a cabinet of necessities gifted I imagine from previous visitors. Robert and his wife are so nice. They were so responsive to every email I sent their way. They really made us feel at home. We will definitely keep this house on our list of places to stay in the future when visiting beautiful New Orleans!

We came to spend time at the WW II museum and it was an easy six minute, safe walk. We also spent time in the historic district, easy to get to! We took the trolley which was only two blocks over. Everything about the property was clean. Kitchen was well stocked, much better than most short-term rental properties. Robert was an excellent host. he lives next-door but it’s not bothersome at all. Parking is on street but readily available. The property was exactly as described. It was very nice to stay in a place that felt like New Orleans! Not a generic, gray and white sterile property.

This home was perfect for our stay in New Orleans! It was spotless and the host had thought of everything. Classic New Orleans charm with modern updates. A short walk to the streetcar!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's away from the chaos of the French Quarter, but so close to everything - you can walk to the Garden District or over toward Canal pretty easily, and anything further was a quick and easy Uber. The house itself is not only gorgeous but well-appointed - everything you could think of that you might need was there, and the host is incredibly gracious and easy to work with. This is my first VRBO rental maybe ever that didn't come with a long list of check-out procedures, which made the whole trip all the more relaxing. Highly recommend this property for families visiting New Orleans!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, spotlessly cleaned, tons of towels and all amenities provided, great communication with host. Only issue we experienced was a brief wifi outage (resolved the next day). The location is also great for walking to French Quarter and down Magazine st through the Garden District. If you’re going to go down the apartment rental instead of hotel route, you can’t go wrong with this one.

We had a wonderful visit in this gorgeous New Orleans home. It is meticulously maintained and very clean. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry room were well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. My husband, daughter and son-in-law all agreed it really felt like home. We had no problem parking our cars right in front. Easy walking distance to the streetcar stop and to the French Quarter if you didn’t want to wait. Robert is a great host and very responsive. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

This was the absolute perfect rental for our group of 4 women for our weekend trip. Easy walking to shopping on Magazine Street, WWII Museum, and French Quarter & Bourbon Street. If you're as ambitious as us, you can even walk all the way to Frenchman Street and then into Bywater. Check-in was seamless, host was communicative and friendly, and neighborhood was safe and adorable. Would 100% stay again.

Clean and comfortable home and very well stocked. Great to stay in a traditional New Orleans home. Well equipped kitchen if you find yourself wanting to eat in. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I stay in rentals regularly for work and this was certainly one of the best. The neighborhood was very nice and many good restaurants in easy walking distance. The Convention Center was an easy 1/2 mile walk which was great for the work part of my trip. We were also suprised with how quiet it was at night and we slept comfortably. Parking was also available nearby and most often right outside the home.
When we head back to NOLA we hope this home will be available!

This property is amazing. From the safe street parking, to the private entrance and completely secluded back patio. This charming shot gun house is located directly in between the quarter and the garden district. The inside feels like you’re right at home and the host have thought of everything! I will definitely book again.

Good location on Magazine. Superclean, spacious, top rate appliances and well stocked kitchen with condiments, coffee, tea, cold water.
Just remember no cable and you need to go thru one bedroom to get to the next. Modern bathroom in between. Excellent communication with owner.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very old and has a classic New Orleans feel, but has been tastefully renovated and recently updated with all the important modern appliances and amenities. It was very clean, and nicely decorated with some lovely plants and plenty of local art. Some nice little touches: a Keuirg machine and tea box with creamers and sweeteners; a few snacks; and lot's of helpful books and magazines about the area. The owners were very responsive and kind. An easy walk to the St. Charles streetcar line, plus busses running right down Magazine street. We found street parking fairly close by, and were able to move our car right in front of the house before leaving. Our 6 and 7 year old kids loved it, there were a few child safety features that showed the owners thought about kids in their planning. Overall a great place, the kind of place I felt like I could live in if I lived in New Orleans.

My friends and I were in town for Essence Fest, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay than this one. First, the pictures on the website don’t do this beautiful home justice. From the artwork to the high ceilings to the bedrooms everything screams vintage New Orleans. If you are into the little details, then this is the place for you. They even put little black makeup towels in the bathroom for ladies to use. The location is awesome and Robert couldn’t have been a better host. He maintained excellent communication with us and was the first person to greet me upon arrival. It is so easy to see why this place has a perfect rating. Don’t hesitate for a moment to book here. We are already looking forward to our next stay!
