Wake up to oceanfront sunrises and dine to oceanfront sunsets! “A Swell Life” is perfect for a family looking to make forever memories or friends looking to reunite for some time at the beach. This unit is in the gated community of Queens Court. It is a three bedroom, three full bath condo with a spacious open floor plan, large kitchen with granite countertops, soft close cabinets and oversized breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, a dining table for eight, panoramic views, large covered deck with porch swing, high top table and chairs, and comfortable sitting area, just steps from the beach. Master bedroom has a king bed, master en-suite with walk-in shower, and access to the deck through a large sliding door. The second bedroom has a queen bed and full bath with walk in shower. The third bedroom/office/conversation room has a queen sized Murphy bed and a view of the beach and ocean (this room is divided with an accordion door from the dining room). The third full bathroom has tub/shower combo. The living room has a pullout sofa as well. Full size washer and dryer, cable and Wi-Fi are included. Unit has filtered water/ice in the refrigerator. “A Swell Life” is on the first floor nestled above carports and storage so you can see beach over the dunes. There is an elevator for your convenience. Emerald Isle is approximately 45 minutes from Jacksonville NC airport and New Bern NC airports. Larger airports would be Wilmington NC under 2 hours away and Raleigh/Durham approximately 3 hours away. Close to family attractions or sit on the large deck and take in the glorious view. Queens Court has a pool, gazebo, tennis court, corn hole, pickle ball, basketball court, and putting green for guest use. There is a picnic area with grills and tables located by the pool for guest use. There is a ramp walkway to the beach with bench seating and outdoor showers.

-Pool and activity court hours are open 9:00am-9:00pm (Open May 15-October 15 usually)
-The dumpsters and recycling are located behind the activity/pool area (Please do not throw household garbage in trash by picnic area or gazebo
-We provide some chairs, boogie boards, and a few other items for ocean/activity area use
-For seating at activity area you will need to use provided folding chairs or bring your own
-Pest treatment is provided on the 3rd Thursday for the months of February, April, June, August, October, December. You do not need to be present for them and treatment will only take approximately 5 min.
-No trailers/golf carts are allowed per HOA
-Parking passes must be displayed by renters in the window of their vehicles
-No smoking in unit or on deck of the condo
-No towels, clothes, etc. can be hung off the balcony of the deck
-We are not responsible for items left behind
-We will provide linens and towels for the unit, however, you will need to provide beach towels
-We have corn hole bags in unit for your enjoyment in the activity area, however, you will need to bring other sports equipment that you would like to use for the other activities
-One roll of paper towels, some toilet paper in each bathroom will be provided, after that you will need to supply

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. I have all positive things to say. The condo has everything you could need. It is well stocked with kitchen gadgets, linens, etc. I would 100% stay there again. The amenities like the pool, basketball courts, putting green are all in amazing shape and were very fun for us and the kids. The property is even more beautiful in person. Honestly I don’t think the photos do it justice at all. This is one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. We will definitely be back one day.

Great place to stay and very convenient access to the beach. Very clean and well equipped. The view is excellent, we loved sitting on the porch in the morning and watching the sun rise. We would highly recommend and would rent again. Thank You

“A Swell Life” was perfect in every way! We had 4 adults but more could have stayed. Location was wonderful with restaurants and grocery very close. Easy access to the beautiful beach with no stairs. The views from the condo are absolutely amazing! Sitting on the swing looking at the ocean was priceless! The balcony had many seating options which was wonderful. The condo was clean and well stocked. The owners were wonderful to work with! Highly recommend! Thanks for sharing you beautiful place!

We had a great stay at A Swell Life. The condo is extremely clean and has many updates. Great location-only a few steps from the unit to the beach and the complex is located near many restaurants and 2 grocery stores. Loved that we could play pickleball as well.
The unit does face the beach access and a small community pavilion so you may get some noise into the evening (until quiet hours at 10pm) but the condo’s windows block most of the noise.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this unit again!

Really great place. Proximity to parking, the elevator, and the beach made it super convenient. Very spacious - larger than some rental houses/duplexes we've stayed in. The corner location and wrap-around deck provided amazing views. Good furniture, comfy beds, and adequately stocked kitchen with quality appliances, pans, etc. We actually appreciated that the condo wasn't overcrowded with excess furniture or full of a bunch of crappy kitchen stuff like in most rentals. Also appreciated the laundry room and full-size washer and dryer. We found it exactly as advertised and would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Michael was so helpful with our check-in as we were tired from driving all day and it was dark upon our arrival- texted us to make it easy to find our way to the elevator. There are so many personal touches in this condo that you feel right at home. It is the best equipped kitchen I have had the pleasure of using while renting a beach property!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. The work put into refurbishing the property made the visit totally enjoyable. My wife has mobility issues so the elevator really helped. Being on the beach front allowed us to enjoy the beach without actually being on it.

The ocean view from the wrap-around porch was beautiful! The condo is clean and the beds were very comfortable! Easy access to the beach and a great location close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

We loved our stay at this beautiful place. The views are so amazing! Everything we could ask for was here. Our family was able to spend time together and relax watching the sunrises on the balcony every morning. They even had a little office area set up that worked wonderfully for our family that needed to still be able to work. We look forward to another visit!

We wanted to hear, see and feel the ocean breezes and this made it possible with sliding glass doors and wrap around deck enabling us to do this from nearly every room. Also well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and compact computer closet to hook my laptop into two big screens with good computer chair made it especially easy to conveniently handle meals, laundry and a remote work meeting. Finally furniture and beds very comfortable and parking easy. Great location, too! Will return.

Very comfortable. One of the best we have visited on this entire island, and we have stayed from Atlantic Beach to Emerald Isle in the last 37 years. We never go to any other beach location even though it is a 7-hour drive.

Great Condo
We really enjoyed our week at this condo. I was concerned about the location, this condo is in a crowded part of the island and is on the first floor. The first floor is not the ground floor, there are parking spaces and owners closets under the first floor so we were above the crowd. Other residents of the condo complex coming and going to the beach did not impact us at all. The balcony is fantastic, it is all covered and with the breeze off the ocean it was a great place to sit and enjoy. The condo is comfortable and clean. We thought it was great

Quiet Beach Getaway
The location was wonderful. The ocean views from the large shaded deck were stunning. Easy access to groceries and many good restaurants. Fishing at the pier (about 1.4 mile walk by beach) was good. Caught many different species. Quiet beach community. The condo itself was very well appointed and we lacked nothing. It was very clean on arrival. The pool on the property was clean and of good design. Ample tables, chairs with shade umbrellas. Terrific stay.

Perfect family vacation!
The property and location was perfect for our family vacation. We were hoping for an oceanfront space to truly enjoy the beach during our stay and "A Swell Life" did not disappoint at all - in fact, I would say it was even better than than the description and pictures portrayed. The amount of outdoor deck space is phenomenal. We love getting up to walk on the beach to see the sunrise and sunsets and we were able to easily access the beach AND enjoy it all from the comfort of the deck when we needed a break from the beach. It was very convenient to put up our canopy on the beach in the morning and come back and forth to the condo as needed. The appliances are all new and the living/sleeping spaces are very comfortable and spacious. There were six of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and have our own space as well. We enjoyed coffee and lunch frequently on the deck. There were beach chairs to borrow and games and books available when you need a break from the elements. Our boys (pre-teen and teen) very much enjoyed the pool, basketball court and corn hole. The location is also very convenient to local grocery stores and entertainment. We made stops at Publix and Food Lion and visited great local establishments (Flip Flop Donuts, The Fish Hut Grill and The Growler Bar were some of our favorites) all within just a few miles. We would love to visit again and will definitely share this perfect location with friends and family. If you are looking to spend a lot of time on the beach + enjoy amenities of a pool and convenience to grocery stores and restaurants... this is the place!
