nothing .

so disappointed ...on arrival had trouble getting into my room using my keycode .....the person next door said he knew MY keycode , whick is a big no no ...did not stay ..unclean and unsecure .booked a premier inn instead .

no breakfast provide, near street road , convenient to walk around and have our food .

check out on 10am , no person in charge around , do not who's can i looking for . And i wanna storage my luggage also can not. because no person in charges around . whole Lancaster area , i look for luggage storage . Also cant get it.

Absolutely horrible stay

The location and the bedding was clean

We couldn't get into the property at first and when we did go out had to leave the door unlocked all night because the wasn't a key to get in the property. It wasn't safe. All the residents that was staying wasn't happy and the number I had to ring someone it didn't work. The room was dirty the cups in the room was dirty and the Internet didn't work

You get what you pay for!

The location is fantastic and so was the price.

Our room looked onto the main road and the windows were far from soundproof, it was a very noisy night. The bathroom was a bit mouldy in areas. But very functional. We did not try the shower. Also the lock on the main front door was entirely missing - anyone could have got into the building (though not the rooms). If you're looking for luxury, you won't quite get that here. If you're looking for a cheap bed for a night, this is for you!

Nice homely place but no sign outside to make it obvious that it's not just someone's house

The closeness to city centre and the comfort of the room.

Shared bathrooms with the rest of the hotel seemed different but maybe just because something we were not used to. The main thing we weren't so confidently likable on is that you say its easy to find the place but it's not. it is near qwik fit not opposite qwik fit...its opposite the white Cross building (where luckily I used to work so I knew where that was) but there's no obvious sign that it's the "Broomfield 5 hotel" it's just a numbered house plate street as if it's a normal house and that didn't feel the best it confused us and we walked past it at least 4 times before realising that it was there and at the top end of thurnam Street not right at the bottom near all the other similar style hotels/bnbs/guest houses where we thought it would be. Even the directions from Google maps sent us the wrong way and all the way down to the bottom of thurnam more towards the main bus station of the city. So Just a friendly suggestion maybe eventually put up a sign on the front of the building to say that it is the Bloomfield 5 building as we honestly thought it was just a house that someone lived in. Apart from that the only other thing we weren't 100% sure on was the fact that we did our best to clean up whatever we had done mess wise, mostly myself with the face glitter as I was getting ready for a friend's birthday night out in the city centre area...I went to wipe away any glitter I dropped on the floor and ended up wiping up a lot of dust as if the floor hadn't been cleaned and it looked mostly clean but did still seem a little leas clean than most wooden/laminate floors. For a place that's cleaned daily I don't think seeing black dust anywhere in a room for even just one night is a nice thing to see.

The location is good for the middle of town, and the room was comfortable and clean. Slightly cold in the room when I arrived this time of year, but the heating worked well to quickly heat it up.

Had a room facing the main road, so a lot of traffic noise.

The place is very dirty, one single shared bathroom for the 8 rooms! Rooms facing the street are super noisy, and window frames are non protecting at all

Well-priced secure rooms in a city location.

The location is great - right in the centre of Lancaster. The downside is a bit of traffic noise. The room was comfortable and clean. Other guests were very quiet, but friendly and VERY helpful when I had difficulties with the lock to my room. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there's a washing machine as well.

I had a bit of trouble with the keys/lock to my room. I'd been given the wrong keycode, and the lock to my room was faulty. However, the owners were very helpful and it was sorted out fast. But I'm glad I arrived relatively early in the evening, not late as I had originally planned.

Impossible to sleep in. The walls, windows and floors are too thin and unsound proof.

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen looked nice.

I couldn’t sleep in the room. It was very hot, noisy and bright. I had to stand on a chair and climb on the window ledge to try and close the window to block out the noise from the traffic right below the window, but that didn’t block out any of the noise from the road. The blind was broken, the slats were snapped in half and there was a lot of light from the street light outside coming in and all the car lights going by. Then the floor above was so thin that it shook when the people in the room above walked on it, which meant the lights in my room flickered and I could hear everything from the people on the floor above. Every word of their conversation and even them breathing and exhaling. The room was next to the communal toilet so I could hear everything from the bathroom too. I gave up and didn’t use the room in the end.

Well furnished, nice house with plenty of amenities.

Room next to main road, window wouldn't shut properly so difficulty sleeping. Back door wide open upon arrival. Other guests really noisy throughout the night.
