This fun-filled two-story home will have you feeling like you're alone in the wilderness while still being less than a mile from the fresh powder slopes that you crave. The wraparound deck with its peekaboo mountain views is a great place to soak up the serenity amidst the towering pine trees. If you fancy an alfresco meal, set the covered outdoor dining table and get ready to indulge. The well-equipped full kitchen is standing ready to help you prepare your favorite comfort food and even includes some pantry staples to get you started.

The house's interior has a retro vibe, and an eye-catching stone fireplace serves as its centerpiece. Grab some wood for the fire, and then gather around for an evening of storytelling or streaming the next episode of your current show on the flatscreen TV. Younger guests will love the upstairs lounge area accessible by a private staircase; with its foosball table and big, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, they'll have an ideal hangout spot.

The primary bedroom is also upstairs and accessed by a second private staircase for maximum privacy. It features an oversized private balcony and a full en suite bathroom. The remaining four bedrooms are on the main level and share access to two full hallway bathrooms.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Upon arrival we spent 4 hours cleaning all sheets and towels because all had hair on them. There were live mice inside with droppings in all areas and rooms. We had a toilet that we could not use, a shower that did not drain properly, half the stove elements did not operate, an exposed carpet tack strip, the screen door was on backwards and off the track, and no iron or ironing board, 1 trash bag, no dishwasher soap, , and 1/2 a roll of paper towels. All for 9 people over 4 days. These are just a few issues, too many issues to list all. More than once we were told a cleaning crew would come out and supplies would be replenished. No one came to clean or address the other issues. We had to self remedy all issues. Vacasa did refund our cleaning deposit. We feel we are owed a bigger refund as we were there for our mother's funeral and burial and this added a great deal of stress and inconvenience.

This home, and you'll feel at home right away, is the first past the entrance to Angel Fire. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of dishes, and very good pots and pans. Plenty of room to spread out in the 5 bedrooms and 2 living areas.

Weekend in Angel Fire

We stayed here for the weekend and it was awesome! Beautiful home and the views as well. It was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. We want to go back and would definitely recommend it. The driveway is downhill, but we were still able to fit three vehicles with no problem. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!
