Welcome to Manasota Key, the premier beach of the West Coast of Florida. The sleepy coastal community allows you to unwind on the beautiful white sands and swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants as well as Stump Pass Beach State Park, this unit offers everything you need for your beachfront vacation.

PLAN ACCORDINGLY: We provide for your stay the minimal amount of essentials to get your started, such as a paper towel roll, toilet paper roll, hand soap, dish soap, etc. Anything else you may need during your stay, the nearest shopping center is 10-15 minutes away from the property.

CHECK-INS: All check-ins are a self check-in process. For security purposes, access instructions will be sent to you the day of your arrival through Vrbo messaging. Thank you.

EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM EST (or afterwards). If you need the property prior to check-in time, please be made aware that early check-ins cannot be confirmed or guaranteed until the day of your arrival.

CHECKOUT: All checkouts are at 10 A.M. Please strip the sheets, clean your dishes and throw away all garbage prior to departure. Thank you.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Welcome to Manasota Key, from the north tip of the island to the south, this quant 11 mile island is picture perfect “old Florida”. This island is unique in which half is in Sarasota County and the other half is Charlotte County. It consists mainly of Englewood Beach in Charlotte County, Florida and is part of the Punta Gorda Metropolitan.

MANASOTA KEY BY MORNING
In the mornings head out your front door and down to the beach where you will find dolphins and other sea creatures making an early morning appearance. Or enjoy a quick bike or car ride to sightsee around the island and find yourself breath taken by the unique layout of the island.

MANASOTA KEY BY AFTERNOON
There are great restaurants on the Key with daily food and drink specials. For a quick drive off the island, enjoy a delicious lunch at Farlows on the Water. One of the best in the area!

I can't say enough about the location - literally steps away from what is almost a private beach! The unit was clean, met our needs, enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean from the balcony. We had a great little getaway. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay here. If you're looking for extravagance, that's not what this place will offer. If you want a quiet, quaint get-away with great proximity to the beach, and the bare essentials, this is perfect. Exactly what we needed for a quick couples escape and a relatively private beach. We will be back!

Great time overlooking the Gulf of Mexico while enjoying morning coffee. Even had a visit by 2 dolphins n evening before sunset. It’s not a 5 star resort, but if you like quiet and relaxed environment on the beach, this may be for you. Recommend looking at the market in center of town for good food and entertainment.

We stayed at unit 3 which is on the second floor. People down on the first floor were running up at night to see the great view. They forgot paper towels in our unit and the manager at first seemed like this never happens but it did to us. Anyway, we received towels the next day. Great place and nice beach.

Very clean apartment, fresh lily boutique (flowers stayed fresh our entire stay, just add water). Fairly new bath and kitchen counters. Great views from the front porch. The apartment needs new blackout curtains in the front room. The current ones are transparent and the sunshine is very bright. The owners need to name the place, the sign as you drive in calls it Chateau Luan but they don't use that in the ads. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We had a wonderful stay, the top unit (#3) had great views of the sunsets, dolphins and manatee’s. Close to the restaurants, the people staying next door had a blast at the tiki bar. Bedroom was comfortable, it’s a quiet road so we didn’t hear any traffic, you will hear your neighbors if they are party people. The appartment isn’t fancy inside, but it has everything you need, except supplies. There was only half a toilet paper and a paper towel when we arrived, no dish soap, sponge, trash bags, tin foil or anything like that to get you by. The circle k down the road didnt have those things either. So if you don’t want to waste your weekend driving to the store, take these things with you. Take ear plugs as the air conditioning is really loud but it is nice and cold. We would love to stay again, the location is superb, we would go more prepared next time.

The property was very clean outside and only steps away from the beach. The view from our covered deck was spectacular. The inside of property was spotless and roomy. The kitchen appliances were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay and we will return.

Place just as advertised. Had everything I needed for myself. Right on the beach in a great spot. Close to restaurants and the bridge from the mainland. Even had a turtles nest right outside the path through the dune.

The view is amazing. Photos do not do it justice. Plus, you’re right on the sand and that means easy access to the beach for walks and swimming. All the restaurants are close. Most have good food too. The photos show exactly the decor you get. It’s not fancy, but you have what you need. The bed is comfortable and actually now has a cute bedspread. I wish I had taken a picture for the owner to update the listing. This was the perfect spot for this trip with exactly what I wanted. A retro surf shack on the sand. Just like I had growing up on the beach in Sarasota. Manasota Key is quaint and charming. Old school Florida. Come enjoy it and appreciate all that it has to offer just as it is. You won’t find this beauty anywhere else.

Upon arrival a key was missing but an employee had us a replacement key within 10 minutes. One of the most awesome views I have ever had. True Beachfront property. Checking in was easy. I requested an extra space for a kayak trailer. My request was easily fulfilled. Will definitely be back. Oh, forgot to mention you will see the most stunning sunset of anywhere you have ever been.

We liked it very much! If you’re looking for a place to relax, not to crowded for you and your family, you found it. Clean and spacious. What it was missing for a whole week of staying was the laundry machine otherwise everything was perfect for us. We will gladly return:)

We were in town for just a couple days. This stay was absolutely perfect. The view from the living room was beautiful. It had everything we needed, super clean, walking distance to restaurants, and steps to the beach. Andrew was very patient and communicative.

This is a great place, right on the beach. The other neighbors were super nice and respectful. I tool my 12 yr old son who loved being right on the beach and loved the sunsets each night. And communications via email with Andrew were great!
