The house is in a good location and indoor facility is are okay, but back yard and garage dirty with garbage and untidy stuffs

The house was as depicted in the photos. The backyard was unkept, but as it was cold, we didn't use the backyard. We checked in later than planned. When we entered the house, we noticed it was colder than expected. We checked the thermostat and upped the temp. We waited and it never got any warmer. I called the number provided to report there was no heat coming on. Also there was no hot water, after 15 minutes of running the hot tap. The property manager told me to wait a couple of hours to see if it came on. He stated he would call me back. I never got a call. I then reported to the owner and Vrbo online what was happening. Contact with the property manager was unsuccessful by Vrbo. Needless to say, we had no where else to go. Some of us had traveled for more than six hours. We had to sleep in a house that had an indoor temperature of 12° Celsius. I called the owner Saturday morning. I again explained what was happening. The property manager called me back and stated that he had called someone but had no idea when someone would come to make repairs. He said he'd call me back. I never heard from him. Subsequently, I found another rental for Saturday night. We were unable to use the house at all on Saturday, as it was too cold to do anything but stay covered in blankets. We were holding a Celebration of Life for my husband who passed away in early March. The added stress these events caused me are inexcusable. It's really unfortunate these events occurred.

Great location, big value and good amenities. Hosts were on point, and overall very happy with our 2-nighter. Consider refreshing a few more functional pool cues.

Averting was nice but the owner is an opportunist because during the entire stay he didn't come to do any inspection, leaving his inspection until the end and lying saying that something was missing so that he couldn't defend us by accusing us of a lie, it wasn't good

The house was very spacious. There was lots of room for our group of adults and 2 children. The area was quiet.

Great stay and comfort with you. No issue. Only problem we faced was babeque. The flame was low not enough to cook any thing. Other than that every thing was good.

Very clean, only concern was the main floor toilet was out of order....would have been nice to know but no big deal. Very responsive with communication.

Overall it was a good place. Clean, easy check-in, and good location. However, the main floor bathroom was unusable (something was wrong with the flush), and the pool table was warped.

The house provided a perfect space to spend time with family. Set up deck and fire pit area, fully equipped kitchen, 4 living room spaces, and a pool table. The house has a cozy feel, and my family would definitely return. Host was quick to respond with questions and very courteous.

This is the second year we have stayed at this property. Super convenient for 3 families to stay for a hockey tournament, lots of space for the teens to hang and the adults to hang too. Owners we super easy to get a hold of. Main floor toilet hasn't worked either time we have been there...which was a bit inconvenient for the boys sleeping in the basement, but we made do. Beds are hard and you'll want to bring your own pillows. They did allow us a late check out which helped us greatly on Sunday, and kind of made up for the few deficiencies we had to deal with. It worked for us and if we have another tournament in Barrie next year we will for sure be back...hopefully the main floor bathroom will work then!

Accommodated 10 of us comfortably. Property was clean and tidy. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful wooded walking trail beyond the gate in the backyard. Enjoyed the fire pit as well. Overall awesome place to stay.

My friends and family had a pleasant stay, alot of amenities were provided, spacious room, clean bathroom and kitchen. Enjoyed playing pool and walking down the amazing trail behind the house. Will definitely book this house soon again.

This was a great property for our family trip to Barrie. There was a lot of space for our family of 6, both inside the house and in the spacious backyard. We enjoyed using the fire pit outside. This open-concept house has everything you need for your vacation. The neighbourhood is quiet and full of mature trees. The hosts were excellent with communicating before and during our stay. We would certainly stay here again.
