This beautiful home just THIRD BACK on one of the nicest Beach Blocks in Avalon. Underground utilities, beautiful homes, and offering fabulous ocean views! This south side of the street location has an over-sized swimming pool with full southern exposure built under past pool setback rules which allowed larger pools. This special home is spacious providing three stories, 5 bedrooms, and an expansive open great room perfect for entertaining. The first level is comprised of three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a laundry room (with a full sized refrigerator and ice maker) and a fourth bedroom that is currently set up as a first floor family room with sofa bed. The family room has slider access to the rear, covered deck, which walks down to the southern exposed backyard.
The second floor entertaining space includes huge front and rear decks with plenty of seating options, all with wide spanning views of the ocean. A screened in, exterior dining area with gas BBQ grill on the east side of the home offers an intimate setting right off of the kitchen, great for dining or game playing. The designer furnished entertaining space is beautifully furnished, great ocean views, distributed audio and vaulted ceilings, which add drama to the space. The kitchen features quality appliances and a large center island with soapstone counters. The rear of the second floor offers a large, junior suite with private bath. The entire third floor is dedicated to the master suite and features some of the best views in the home.
The home offers ample exterior entertaining areas such as a first floor covered porch, 2 second floor sun decks, a screened porch and a sun deck off the master in addition to the ample deck area around the pool. The street-scape on 13th Street is simply beautiful. The home is just steps to the beach! A storage garage on the front of the home allows for plenty of room to store your beach equipment and bikes.
