Really good

Quiet and clean and comfortable .Laundry facilities and close to seafront .

No shampoo ,body wash or conditioner in shower .

A great spot

Our stay here was very enjoyable. Chris was a really wonderful host: very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well maintained, with a bright and fresh appearance. Large bedroom, with a super comfortable bed. Laundry facilities are available. The location was fantastic, with only a short walk down the hill to restaurants and beach area, and two nice hotels are very close by. Also, it was wonderful to have guaranteed off-street parking.

The communication was excellent. All questions answered before arriving. Tea, coffee, milk, and sugar were there for that needed cuppa. The apartment was clean, tidy, and well looked after. Bed was comfortable. Would highly recommend it

For me, I have a lung condition, so the walk up to the apartment from the beach. But I got there in the end just slowly.

Great accommodation, friendly and welcoming, highly recommended.

Great communication right from the start and an easy check in. The apartment (a two bed ground floor) was light and airy. Both bedrooms (a king size and twin) were spacious, the living/kitchen area was small but well laid out and the bathroom likewise. The rooms have very high ceilings - ideal for anyone with very tall family members. Our group included two children under 5, the youngest is 2. There are no “fussy bits” that I had to lift up higher or hide from her grabbing hands. The rubbish bin in the kitchen is integrated into a cabinet so I didn’t have to worry about her emptying that all the time either. They were very friendly and accommodating. On-site parking is a real bonus in Torquay and it’s just a short walk to the beach, a little longer to the harbour where most of the restaurants are situated. We usually stay in a Premier Inn or similar for a weekend trip. This was the same price and much much better, I would definitely recommend it.

October weekend break

Absolutely one of the best places we have stayed. Lovely apartment,comfy bed homely touches with blankets and towels. Very close to the sea front and town center. Lovely host very warm and welcoming.

Only thing we didn't like was we had to leave!

Apartment was spotless and had everything you needed, beds super comfy location great just a five minute walk to seafront, warm welcome from Chris

Only slight negative the towels were extremely rough but this definitely would not put me off from booking again

Comfortable and very clean accommodation. Quiet and peaceful. Off road parking. The owner was very helpful

Would have preferred combined shower and toilet facilities. Written instructions for kitchen appliances would be helpful. Found a bed too low for our needs , difficulty in getting up.

Lovely apartment, great host!

It was spacious, very clean and had everything that we needed. Chris was a great host. He was very kind, attentive, friendly, and answered any questions immediately.

The mattress and pillows on the bed were quite uncomfortable.

our prefect stop in Torquay 2022, feeling happy, safe and free

Chris welcomed us on our arrival and made us feel very comfortable. showed us around our room and gave us to information on the local area. there was milk in the fridge waiting if we wanted a coffee, which was nice. downstairs there was a table with leaflets on what we can do and a good maps too. this mapped out our stay. the room was very clean and prefect for use. I felt safe when I was there. location was prefect for walking to the beach and connecting roads to other beaches. we loved our stay.

i dint have anything negative to say.

Had a very enjoyable stay and would definatelybook again.

The location was ideal, close to the beach in one direction and close to the high street in the other. There was also good pub close by to finish off the evening at.

The only problem was the shower basin was about a foot aove the floor which was akward to access.

Relaxing, enjoyable and great place to stay both the apartment and the town - Torquay

this one has ticked all the boxes starting with host Chris who takes care of all his guests personally, the location quite next to the beach and lot of restaurants Chris was quite accommodating on our special requests which has been great for us

Excellent location , spotlessly clean, lovely modern apartment in an historic building. The host was warm and friendly with great knowledge of the history of the building and the surrounding area. Free parking a huge plus.

Fantastic and great location

Fantastic stay and great location. Chris was very welcoming on arrival and always there if we needed help with anything. Everything you could want for a short break and look forward to returning hopefully sometime soon.
