After a day of fun, unwind in the comfort of your condo with a delicious cocktail or tropical juice, and stream your favorite shows and movies on Netflix. Your perfect getaway awaits!

Complimentary condo amenities (with no additional resort fee) include three swimming pools, two libraries, and two fitness centers.

Things to Know
The community pool is open annually from the beginning of June to the end of August for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.
The Sanctuary HOA schedules structural upkeep during the off-season, blocking off certain sides of the buildings, making it unsafe for our guests to be on the balcony. The balcony may not be available for guests from October to mid-May.
This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Salt Therapy. We loved that there was a bed for each of our four children. The unit was comfortable and well stock. The master bed was especially very comfortable. The Sanctuary itself is definitely starting to wear down a bit and could use some updating. But we still enjoyed a relaxing vacation.

This was a surprisingly spacious condo with lots of thoughtful extras (like a well equipped kitchen and plenty of board games and books). My husband, my two young kids, and my parents were very comfortable staying here for a week!

If you’re looking for a little bit more seclusion from downtown, this is the place. The room was spotless but the outdoor area was full of spiderwebs. The pool closed at 8 and not 9 as was listed but otherwise the property was as expected. There is only one restaurant nearby and one road leading in and out so plan on extra drive time as well.

The unit was neat and clean. Was stocked with supplies more then most vacation rentals. Was nice that they had small supplies to get you started. Dish soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, soap. Proximity to the beach was great. Beach supplies were great.

Salt therapy goes above and beyond with all extras, from board games to books to a cappuccino/latte maker to the frozen drink maker. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. The decor was wonderful and if you had to be stuck inside it would cheer you up. Fantastic location to the beach and within the complex. Will definitely stay again.

The property offered late check in. We received multiple emails and texts verifying we would receive a late check in and that they would place our check in packet and keys in a drop box in the main lobby. When we arrived there were no keys or check in packet. We then had to call the 800 number to get in touch with anyone. It took over an hour for someone to come out and give us our keys. Then the employee told h they must’ve forgotten about us! Over 10 hours in the car with kids and they dropped the ball. The parking situation at the property was horrible. The building was confusing and the parking garage was like a maze to get to your things. The property was bare minimum clean. There were stains on the sheets, stains on the couch that looked like blood, stains on the dingy carpet, and the patio furniture was old and covered in stains and spiderwebs. The pool was tiny and overcrowded daily. We left early because it was so disappointing and I didn’t want my kids crawling on those floors.

We loved our stay at Salt Therapy!! It was very relaxing, welcoming, and had everything you could ever need or want. From spices, ice maker, grilling tools, Keurig, and sooo much more. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

Unit was beautiful, entry locks need repair took over an hour waiting for assistance to get in. Housekeeping left a fairly new bloody pool on mattress pad thank goodness it was clearly seen through the clean sheet. Calling for assistance for any reason takes. 24 hour response delay. Our stay was late May and clearly facilities were not prepared or ready for guests. It was a disappointment to have this facility so falsely represented on the VRBO & VACASA site. Bbq grills and pools were posted as open in mid-May, which was not the case. The unit it’s self was well stocked and nicely furnished.
