About this campground/ rv resort rental

If you are looking for a place you can go with your family and friends to enjoy some fishing and relaxation you have found it. Wonderful location in quiet neighborhood great for fishing on Toledeo Bend Lake. Launch your boat at our private boat ramp then take off on the lake. Or dock your boat on our pier or floating deck and fish in the quiet cove that just teems with fish. The kids will have a blast on the dock catching Perch. Cove has easy access to the main lake. Our huge dock has electricity (bring extension cord to charge trolling motor) and running water. There is a fish cleaning table with running water also to clean all those fish you catch. When you're through fishing there is room for everyone to kick back in a chair on the dock or porch. There is a deck near the house for grilling equipped with a charcoal grill. Just bring your own charcoal and lighter. If you need a larger grill you're welcome to use the large wood burning grill in the yard that we share with family members next door.
If you just need a place to get away for some peace and relaxation then just sit on the covered porch or swing under the shady trees looking at the lake watching the fish jump and listening to the birds chirp. If you sit on the swing in the large yard under the huge shade tree, you have great views of the lake and the cove.
House is a newly remodeled 1800 sq. ft. double-wide located in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to convenience store, bait shop, and hardware store and is equipped with all the amenities you need. Linens and towels provided. The kitchen has all the appliances you need including a dishwasher with detergent available. Lots of pots, pans, and dishes are provided as well as small appliances including a coffee maker (we suggest you bring your own coffee since everyone has their own flavor). There is also a washer and dryer with some detergent and fabric softener sheets.
The Master bedroom is equipped with a king-size Temperpedic mattress and an ensuite bath with a large garden tub and separate shower.
Two other bedrooms have comfy queen size beds and twin bunks in each. Each bedroom has a flatscreen smart tv with satellite. Every bed has mattress and pillow protectors for your protection.
The living room has a sectional sofa for lots of seating. There are board games available and a smart tv for streaming movies with satellite.
Free wi-fi is available if needed and there is a desk area near the kitchen if you need a workspace.
The property is close to stores, restaurants and other recreation besides the lake. Fairmount store less than 5 minutes away has groceries, bait, and gas. There is also a package store and hardware store there. Burkeville is about 30 minutes away and has an ATV park. Rayburn country where you can find golf and Lake Sam Rayburn is a little more than 30 minutes away. Hemphill is about 20 minutes away if there is something you need for your stay that you couldn't find in Fairmount, you can probably find it there.

Location was easy to access. Home was clean and orderly. Close grocery and tackle store. Boat house was easy to fish from and porch was nice to sit and visit on. Host were easy to message and willing to assist with details. We will stay here again,

Nice place to stay for the weekend with the family. The boat dock was very nice offering relaxing views of the lake and giving the children the opportunity to fish and actually catch a few. The accommodations were clean and renovated. I would recommend it and will be back. Neighborhood has a convenience store 1 mile away with everything you need, plus a car wash and general hardware store. Roads are good and easy to get to. Wifi was available to use to make calls and research the web.

Overall good rental! Check in and access to the rental was a breeze. It is a Nice space for a large group- we were 7 adults and 2 kids. Loved the dock - it was a great place to hang out, fish, dock the boat and launch our kayaks. The house was supplied with the basics and had plenty of clean towels. It is a quiet neighborhood with very kind neighbors. The only negative was that the grounds could have a used a little attention before our arrival. We had to cut branches away that were encroaching on the walkway to the dock and brush down spiderwebs all along the railings of the dock. Branches had to be moved from the landing deck at the house entrance door. Also there were crumbs on the dining table. Those things were quickly tended to and didn’t detract from the overall experience. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions or needs we had. Our family loved it and we would return to this rental!

We had a last minute getaway before school started back up. The place was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The best part was the boat dock. Beautiful view of the lake. We brought our jet ski and left it tied to the floating dock so we could ride off and on. I spent my mornings on the pier watching the sunrise❤️

My fiancé and friends booked this place for Memorial Day weekend. We are all big into fishing so finding a spot with a private boat launch and dock was really important. The home is located in a very cute and quite neighborhood. The back porch provides a great view of the water and the dock is even better! The washer and dryer was nice to have so we didn't have to go home with dirty laundry. The hosts did a great job making us feel at home and the check out list was very easy to follow. We would book again!
