Spend your vacation in our Hawaiian style 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home a 3 minute walk from Kailua Beach. Our home features a balance of indoor and outdoor living. There is a zen like courtyard and inviting navy blue mosaic swimming pool in the backyard. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom and AC unit. The living room also has AC.
There is a property manager that is available to do check in, check out and if there is any troubleshooting needed.
This home is located on Kalaheo Avenue, just a 2 minute walk from beautiful Kailua Beach, located on the Windward Coast with 2 miles of soft sand, turquoise water, and gentle breezes. Kailua Beach is also a hub for water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, body boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding and parasailing.
If you are up to a challenging hiking trail, Ehukai Pillbox is only 2.4 miles away. It’s a 30 minute hike up to two old military bunkers that overlook the North Shore coastline. The views are breathtaking!

The home has been newly renovated with a fully equipped kitchen, modern floors, and island decor. To make working and learning remotely from paradise more efficient, we have upgraded our internet service to ultra-package throughout the property, and stored additional computer desks in case multiple working stations are needed.
Offering a truly Hawaiian experience, it is a great place to relax away from the crowds but still close enough for trips to Waikiki and North Shore. Walk to the Kalapawai Market for morning coffee. Wind surf or kite board from the best spot on the island, rent a kayak or paddle board, head to the Moku islands, or have shaved ice at Island Snow later in the day.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: There are 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The expansive master suite has a king bed and spacious walking closet. Two others each have a queen bed. The 4th suite has 2 twin beds that you can put together for a King bed, if you need. You can also use the queen size air mattress in the living room or the master bedroom.
KITCHEN: The fully stocked gourmet kitchen has everything you could possible need to from wine glasses to pots & pans, and a rice cooker. The kitchen with a bar opens into dining area beyond which you can step into the lanai/courtyard. We also have an outdoor grill by the pool and under the coconut tree for your use.
LIVING ROOM: There is spacious and bright living room with large sliding doors that open into zen themed courtyard on one side and swimming pool/backyard on the other.

Your health and safety are our top priority. We are now following a thoroughly enhanced cleaning policy. This home has been thoroughly cleaned using SafeStay standards, an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant that has been found to kill 99.9% of detectable pathogens. The front door is then sealed with a tag and no one is allowed to enter till you do so with your access code. We want you to assure you that cleaning and disinfection is being done to the highest of standards.
*This property is a legally established dwelling that is rented for periods of 30 consecutive day minimum. There is no penalty for early departures so you can book for a shorter stay as agreed upon on the site. This is in accordance with city and County of Honolulu ordinance section 19-18. Spacious and well-equipped home with four en-suite bedrooms and a very nice kitchen. Great communication. Excellent location right in front of some of the best boogie boarding and body surfing waves on Kailua beach. Hope to be back soon!

House and pool are in excellent condition, everything worked great as indicated. Plenty of space for 8 adults. Binder with directions was very clear and if we had questions we'd go to that first and then call our contact. I would note that the Koi pond requires a fair bit of attention and so we saw the host on multiple days keeping it in good working condition. Location to the beach, Kailua town and Lanikai beach are so convenient. We mostly walked and biked about town.

I highly recommend this home. The beach is just a few minutes walk away through the beach access. The home is in a great neighbourhood for walking. It's a quick drive to the town. Nice pool, comfortable beds, and room locations allowed for lots of privacy. Noe, the property manager, was lovely and wonderful to deal with. This was the perfect home for our family.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. This was probably the best vacation we've ever had, and our stay here absolutely helped to make that possible. The house is beautiful and in the perfect location: 5 minute walk to Kailua Beach and 20 minute walk (5 min drive) to downtown Kailua. We had 2 families with us (4 adults, 1 teenager, 3 kids, 1 toddler). The layout was unique with 1 bedroom accessed from the Koi Pond area and 1 bedroom accessed from the pool area. All bedrooms were spacious and the largest bedroom worked perfectly for our family unit with my wife and me in the king bed, our 6 year-old on the air mattress in the room, and our toddler in the pack-n-play in the large attached walk-in closet which essentially meant he had his own room. The driveway fit 2 SUVs easily and we had the security of the driveway gate to close at night. The pool area was lovely and there was pleanty of beach and swimming equipment fo us to use. One of my favorite parts was the kitchen with large dining table that fit our whole group for many family meals. The house can only be rented once in a 30 day period due to a Honolulu ordinance, but they allowed us to pay just for the 9-nights thay we stayed. The property manager, Noe, was wonderful and greated us with check-in information as soon as we arrived on island, and was available immediately to assist us when we were having trouble figuring out an issue with one of the gates. 10/10 would recommend. We hope to return in the future!

The house is listed as a Zen Paradise and it truly is. There were nine of us and it was perfect. The four separate suites made us feel very private although the common area was beautiful, large well lit and offered us everything we would need for the perfect vacation. Everyone loved the swimming pool, and the Koi pond was gorgeous and peaceful. The beach was just a few steps away. Totally private with the security gate from the street and another secure gate to enter the property. Totally recommend 100% to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation. Kailua beach is beautiful would love to stay there again next year for a month. Noe is an amazing person to work with.

It was great working with property manager Noe, who was super responsive and helpful. The rental met all of our expectations and was honestly perfect for our intergenerational family vacation! Also, very short walk to the beach!

Check in was easy and the place was just lovely! We had plenty of space. All the rooms had AC. There were plenty utensils and kitchenware.
The laundry room was essential so we were able to keep up with that. The pool was really nice although the last 2 days had to be cleaned so we weren't able to get in, but the beach is so close, it wasn't a problem. The Koi pond was excellent to read by and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there! I'd highly recommend the place! Dee

Nice location and pool
we liked this home quite a bit, a/c only in bedrooms, main living area was a bit warm in June/July, floorplan ideal for large family. Some minor issues/quirks with the home but we found Noe the property manager to be just great, very responsive and on top of things. Will definitely rent this home again, terrific location, steps to the beach

Amazing
I’ve stayed at half a dozen Kailua rental homes over the years and this was one of the best. Many are kinda beat up, they are rentals after all, but this home is was in great shape. Close to the beach and it has a good pool. Plenty of room and privacy

Incredible place and location!
We really enjoyed staying at Zen Paradise! It was very comfortable for our group of 9 people. Access to the beach was literally steps away. The pool was great and provided a lot of fun after all of our beach activities! Noe was on top of all of our needs and was very responsive. Our entire group definitely recommends this place and we hope to stay here again sometime down the road!

Description was misleading
Awesome location! Kitchen well stocked. On site property manager (Noe) was super nice and responsive.
BUT, it does not sleep 12. More like 8. You can have 10 if you want two people to sleep on an air mattress in the master bedroom or the living area (no other rooms can fit the air mattress). Kitchen and living room are not air conditioned which wasn't always pleasant. Two of the rooms cannot be accessed from the main house - you must go outside to get in. Chasing/catching toads that are attracted to the pond (but can be fatal to the koi) is not fun. Master "shower" was horrible - water pressure was about the same as the sink. It was unusable and forced us to use different bathrooms.

Truly Paradise
Noe was an excellent host - very welcoming and attentive to our questions and comments. The home had just about everything we could ask for. It was clean; appliances seemed new; very convenient location to everything. The koi pond was an added bonus.

Hawaii wedding trip
daughter's wedding... 6 adults and 1 child...place is very relaxing, love the zen garden out front and the pool was nice, short walk to nice quiet beach. only complaint was the air-conditioning in one bedroom not working they couldn't fix while there the week so slept on air mattress in someone elses room. no air conditioning in main part of house was a little warm after all day outside in heat. breeze doesn't blow through much could use AC in that part

Great Location & Great Property
The property was in a great location. It was nice and clean. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. It had everything you need for your family vacation get away. I would recommend staying at this place. It is centrally located in between North Shore and Waikiki. Car drive to those location are generally 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. My family and I will stay here again if we come ever come back.

Perfect vacation
This property was wonderful! We had plenty of space for 3 families (4 kids). The property had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the pool. We drove to several beaches during our stay. The beach by the house, Lanikai, was one of the best. The property manager was very responsive to all my questions.
Our only suggestion is to get air conditioning in the living/kitchen area. It got rather hot each day even with the doors open.

Pleasant stay!
The property manager is excellent. The property has all the amenities you need. I would like to suggest that the pots and pans be replaced. The couch and loveseat in the living area also need to be replaced with more comfortable seating and more seating for as many people as this house does accommodate.

Family Vacation
Very clean, nice pool that the children loved. Short walk to the beach. Super comfortable beds, sheets and towels. Plenty of beach chairs, sand toys and even a cooler for picnics. I am very picky, and I had no issues with cleanliness. The kitchen was well stocked, lots of spices and such for cooking. The local property manager was very nice and stopped by once when the screen door was being fixed. No complaints, we plan to stay here again next year!

Wonderful Kailua Home
This property is perfect for family vacations and reunions. Noe, the property manager was very responsive and welcoming. Overall, this home is inviting and peaceful with easy access to all the amenities and a fully equipped kitchen and partially stocked pantry. We hope to return and enjoy the Aloha of Oahu.

Excellent for large families
This property was set up very nicely for large families as the bedrooms are set apart from each other and the location was great. Communication with the landlord was excellent.
For our stay, we had 18 month old twins and the screen doors to both the pool area and the courtyard area were not working properly or could not be locked, which meant we had to keep the glass sliding doors closed when the toddlers were awake. Since only the bedrooms had air conditioning, this made it very uncomfortable in the main living area. This house is great for families with older children / adults who know how to swim or there is no concern with accidental drowning.

Perfect Retreat for Big Family
Home is just as described. Ideal location in a quiet neighborhood just a couple houses from the best boogie board beach. Communication was easy with the owner. We mentioned that the air mattress was not holding air and had a new one delivered the same day. Important to adhere to quiet times. We had a family of 8 on this trip and loved the extra privacy of the rooms all having en suites. We also thought the Koi Pond was pretty awesome.

Perfect Getaway
The house was beyond our expectations. We were 4 couples so each bedroom with attached bath made for great privacy and the communal areas were big enough for us all.
Noe the house manager was the best at arranging to meet us and info on the house. Honestly we did not need anything as the house has all the amenities (cooking utensils if staying in is your thing and all the brach equipment you might need) including a welcome basket.
The beach is a 2 minute walk and the location makes for a great base point to explore the rest of the island. We would return and stay here again without hesitation.

Great house in Kailua
This is a great place for a family vacation! I can’t say enough good things about this house. Huge rooms with private bathrooms attached to each, very clean, big kitchen and dining area with all the necessities! The pool was great and was just a short walk to the beach. I also love that they provided beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and other beach toys for us to use. Noe was great and easy to contact! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Hawaii Ohana Trip 2019
The room arrangements were great, the kitchen was well equipped, and the pool was clean and a good size for the grandchildren. There was a good supply of towels, beach equipment, and fun pool toys for the grandkids. The property location made access to the beach a short walk. The AC in the bedrooms made sleeping and resting beyond comfortable. The main living room and the dining room areas had overhead fans but lacked AC. Because of this set up, there were many moments both day and night that the fans were inadequate and made these room areas uncomfortable for long family times. The pond was a great feature but the tile in the patio area was slippery - especially when the rain water fell on that area. My grandson slipped and fortunately did not get hurt - and a couple of us adults slipped. Even when it was dry, we exercised cautious steps. One idea that surfaced among our group, was that the tiles could use an application of some traction material. A note of commendation: Noe, the property manager, was professional and personal in her attentive care to us. She was communicative, responsive, and attentive to some needs that came up. She is a testament to what a good manager should be. Our entire group appreciated her efforts and energy. In summary, we enjoyed the property. It was an integral part of the great time we had as a family.
