About this house rental

Magnificent two storey home with stunning views down the full length of the canal. Close to the estuary, Mandurah waterfront eateries and walking distance to the beach. All amenities are close at hand.

The dolphins, swans and wildlife frolic in your backyard whilst you enjoy a paddle down the canal on the kayaks provided or just relax and enjoy the expansive views from the balconies or the living areas.

An external security camera, facing the street, is used for property security.

Great house - very clean with plenty of amenities. Very hard to find a house with 8 separate beds - so was perfect for our annual golf trip. Loved the crab nets - shame we didn't have anyone capable of catching any... Definitely be back.

I organised for family and friends to stay the weekend and celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday. Booking was a little messy but after that, it was seamless and effortless. Laura made us feel extra special by setting up a happy birthday balloon message and a bottle of wine and Mums favourite chocolates - it made her feel extra special which was the order of the weekend. I am so grateful to you Laura as it set the weekend off to a wonderful start that just got better. The house was stunning with beautiful views and well equipped with everything (except egg cups - for those who love boiled eggs). I couldn't fault the house or its contents and cleanliness. To prepare others though there was no instant coffee (seems to be important to some) and there was next to no hot chocolate but we just went to the shops which was just down the road. If I lived there, I would move the dining table as it was our main gathering place and it was contested when you have 10 people moving in and out of the dining area. I only mean this as constructive feedback, as it was truly a delightful weekend and we felt very special staying in this very special house. Thankyou Laura!!!

This is a great stay! You don’t need to leave the house. Laura the host was lovely and welcoming and responding quickly to any queries throughout the booking process. The house has everything you need and we enjoyed family games, kayaking with dolphins and fishing and crabbing off the jetty. Such a great holiday location and we will definitely be looking at booking again next year!

We came to stay for 2 nights for our work Christmas gathering. The property was so clean and well presented. The care taken to prepare the property for our arrival was next level. Everything was well taken care of. A great stay.

Cannot fault this beautiful property for a place to relax with friends or family. The outlook from the central kitchen is absolutely sensational and the owner takes great care with her guests. Thank you for having us Laura!

Very well furnished, classy and spacious property in a good location not far away from the mall and all you need to find in Mandurah. The property has enough rooms for 10 of us, with plenty of space and entertainment for the kids and teenagers. The dolphins came twice during our stay, we were very lucky to see a visiting huge stingray as well. The kitchen is very well equipped as well with a large fridge. The air conditioning/heating is also well maintained and adequate. The host is very nice to work with. She also provided capsules for the coffee machine and a very nice surprise for the kids. We stayed for 7 nights. Have stayed in more than 10 holiday houses in Australia. This one was the best so far. It was money well spent.

We had a wonderful weekend away. The house was gorgeous, and all of the little extra touches provided by our host just added to our enjoyment. We really felt looked after -- were even treated to a visit from some dolphins as we sat out on the verandah!

Property was well equipped, very clean and at a good location. Plenty of things to do (pool table, darts, ping pong, kayak, etc). Nice view of the canal and we got to see a pod of dolphins swimming right up to the private jetty. Memorable experience for all. Would definitely recommend!

The property was the perfect way to relax with family on this luxurious house on the canals. The house had everything you could possibly need. It was brilliant just to switch off and watch the world go by. Highly recommended.

We stayed with family over the xmas break. The home itself is really lovely, it could easily house 2 families with 2 seperate living areas, large kitchen, several bathrooms and large outdoor areas both on the ground floor and first floor. My mum who was with us has trouble walking and uses a walking frame. She was easily able to navigate all areas downstairs. Laura decorated the house for xmas including putting up a beautiful xmas tree, setting the dining table with crackers and leaving crackers on all the beds. She was excellent in responding to all our queries throughout the booking process and any questions we had along the way. One of my family members left their computer charger in the house after check out and Laura even went out of her way to return it to her in Perth. Thankyou Laura for your hospitality, xmas decorations and all the little extras which made our stay amazing.

Myself and my friends had a wonderful stay at Laura's property, the house was amazing and location perfect. The thing that made our stay most memorable was open communication with Laura and how much she accommodated for us during and after our stay, I would highly recommend staying here for larger groups of people in the Halls Head area. Thanks again for the great hospitality and opening your beautiful home to us.

We have stayed as a group of friends down south many times but find that even top end places seem to have broken blinds or something that doesn’t work or is just off and somehow effects the experience. Not this place!! It was literally perfect and we want to go back for the location, perfect customer care, lovely and above all functional home that left you feeling like you were staying at a friend’s house and they left everything in such a way that you felt well cared for. First class, 100% going back.

What a wonderful house. We had 11 adults stay for the weekend and we could not have been happier with the house, amenities and the correspondence with Laura, the property owner. Nothing was too much trouble and Laura was beyond helpful at all times. Fabulous location and an incredible house. Highly recommend for a weekend of all ages.
