Cabin is just as pictured. We chose October to see the changing in the leaves, and were not disappointed. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you could need. There was only 3 of us so we each had our own spaces but the cabin could have easily held a lot more people comfortably. Lise was the perfect host and very accommodating.

Stayed 2 nights for ladies golf trip. House within a mile of golf course and had 4 separate bedrooms and bathrooms which was perfect for us. Would stay here again. Just plan ahead for eating and transportation.

It was a last minute decision for us to get away for the week with our twin 1-yr. Olds. Sky Valley is beautiful, but hindsight we probably should have waited until our kids were older, simply for baby-proofing reasons. We ended up having to cut our vacation short and head home early. Honestly, the reason I am giving 5-stars is because of the property manager, Lise, she is AWESOME!!! In regards to the actual property, I would probably rent something more updated/newer in the future. (That’s just my personal preference) We love Sky Valley!

Beautiful views from the porches. We chose this house for the space for family, the hot tub, gas grill, game room, and tranquility. We also went ziplining and to the Mud Creek Falls (all nearby). There's not a kitchen table for everyone to sit around to eat but don't let that stop you. There's counter space, side tables, and an outside table. We had 3 generations and a great time.

This girls trip was more enjoyable in this house. Pool table and games, plenty of room and easy drive to Dillard, Clayton, Highlands and surrounding water falls. Great host!

This was one of the most pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable stays we have ever had. My family and my wife's cousin's family stayed (a total of 8 people) and that included young teens, tweens and children. They loved the chance to play pool, sit on the deck, play board games and experience retro games on the video game cabinet. The two levels (each with their own fireplace) gave kids and adults the freedom and privacy for different conversations without bothering, but when we came together for movies or games it was perfect. We ventured out to Mud Creek Falls which was wonderful and only a 40 minute walk from the house. It's magestic and has a wonderful trail for a quick hike for any age in your party. The hot tub was a great way to unwind and in February we brought enough firewood with us to keep two fires burning for a couple days in the beautiful fireplaces. We spent time outside on the deck with the gas firepit and wandered around the space a bit just taking in mountain views and awesome sunsets. And Voni, the property manager, was attentive, but not at all intrusive. She was understanding of a last minute change to our stay and answered every question we had (not many) with speed and grace. A wonderful person to work with. In all, our whole party can't wait to go back and we are already talking about when we can make it happen and will make a point to stay here again. Thank you so much!

The octagon cabin is delightful! Our goal was to get away from the Atlanta suburbs for a bit and this certainly fit the bill. The house is much more roomy than the pictures depict. Proximity to Highlands is ideal, and the views are lovely. A very cold spell stopped us from really enjoying the lower level, outdoor hot tub and area hiking (it was below 10 degrees outside!), but we wouldn't hesitate to rebook during another season. This is just the right level of isolated and populated. Don't miss Juniper Farms for dinner!

Great home for a family or multiple adults given the home is on a two levels (gates provided at the stairs) and multiple decks. Very quiet which is what we wanted. We enjoyed the game area - especially the pool table. It is in a great location for hiking, waterfalling (Mud Creek Falls is actually in the neighborhood!) and other outdoor activities. Great nearby restaurants. Dillon and Clayton GA are right down the road... It was easy to connect with the property manager to answer any questions. The only negative for us was there wasn't a mountain view due to tree growth - but don't let that stop you from staying there!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is beautiful with lots of great hiking options nearby. Our kids loved the game room. Everything was very comfortable. The kitchen was user friendly. It was very convenient to have soap, detergent, shampoo, etc provided. The property manager and host were both quick to answer any questions that came up. This spacious cabin was perfect for our large family. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Sky Valley Treehouse get away!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous mountain setting. It looks like a Treehouse our kids where super excited to stay in it. Comfortably furnished with everything you could need. Very relaxing weekend getaway and the owners are quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this property. If you have anything other than Verizon for your cell service you will need to utilize the complimentary wifi.
