About this cabin rental

Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the privacy of a 5 acre pine covered estate or take a short 10 minute drive and find yourself in the heart of downtown Flagstaff for shopping or nightlife. You don’t have decide between the two with the Pink Ponderosa. Located just minutes from I-40, the property has an isolated atmosphere that belies it’s easy access to all that Flagstaff has to offer.

With a full chef’s kitchen, a dining area, a large living area, a laundry room, a mud room, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an additional sleeper sofa (total accommodations for 12), this house does not need a guest house but has one just 50 yards away. The two bedroom guest house has a kitchen, a living area (with another sleeper sofa) and two private bathrooms. It’s quaint balcony offers a private view overlooking the beautiful pines. A great place to keep additional friends and family close (but not too close ;)). This cozy cottage can comfortably sleep 8 more people.

Pink Ponderosa provides the ideal get away for a vacation for the whole family. The master bedroom (aka the Flagstaff Room) and master bathroom are fully accessible with a roll in/walk in shower and easy to reach facilities. The bedroom features a King-sized bed, a smart TV and private access to the patio.

The Bearizona room sports a custom-made bunk, with a full-size bed over a queen-size bed, room enough for 4 people or a quiver of kids.
The Arboretum Room has a queen-sized bed, private access to
the gorgeous patio area and a smart TV of it’s own.
Upstairs, with a view that is the best in house, the Snowbowl Room has a King-sized bed, a sleeper sofa, a smart TV, a coffee service, and a private bath with a steam shower.

A quiet evening at home is the goal and the feel of the Pink Ponderosa. The patio invites you to sit and enjoy the cool temperatures and the embrace of the pines. A propane grill and a fire pit are natural magnets for the family to gather outside on the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy and cup of
coffee or a bottle of wine, while the children play. Seating for 12 means that everyone can enjoy the great outdoors together.

Inside, you can enjoy the many boardgames that are provided in the mudroom (outside the Flagstaff room) or step into the garage and try your hand at the nostalgic Pacman/Galactica console mounted to
the wall.

Need to get away or are you ready for a night out? Pink Ponderosa is located just minutes from downtown Flagstaff and minutes from several hiking trails. A quick drive to downtown will be the perfect solution to your doldrums and it will take only a few minutes. We have even provided a few suggestions for day trips that you won’t want to miss.

We were up for a long weekend with family and this house was a gem. Plenty of room for large group, quiet location (saw elk roaming in early am) great comfort and setting! When it monsoon poured, we retreated to garage game room to play. Highly recommend!

Nice big kitchen and good combination of bedrooms. Outdoor space and games in the garage were very popular with our group. The bunkroom (Bearizona) is pretty small with no closet for hanging clothes. It was a little tight for a couple with two elementary school age kids. They did fine and enjoyed having the room close to the open area so they could put them to bed and remain with the group. The Guest House worked out well for our group. It is not too far away to walk after enjoying the evening with the main group. No closet in the Snowbowl room but we used the Master Bedroom for our wedding clothes. The electronic lock worked great and opened at the time promised.

We have stayed at a few different cabins throughout the years and this one has been by far the best cabin we have stayed in. It is very clean and it has everything you need from all your showering needs to snacks and wine. Very Welcoming. This cabin has it all a great view! Very cozy! We will definitely be coming back and we highly recommend it!!!!

Very clean and the host was very responsive. One recommendation would be too add some additional seating around the television area . Enjoyed our stay.

This was a fantastic spot to stay in that is a little off the beaten path but perfect for a getaway. We were in town for a wedding and stayed here with several other couples. Accommodations were great and house was well appointed.

Can't say enough good things about our stay here. We had a family of 16 stay here and had plenty of room. The house is very well kept and has lots of activities for the kids. While it's close to town, the place seems really secluded which was a great feeling to help get away from it all. The hose was responsive to any of our questions. Will definitely be coming back to visit here again. Could not recommend the place more.

The Pink Ponderosa was the perfect place for our family reunion! The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend. The garage/game room was a hit and primary gathering place for everyone to hang out. James was extremely responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend it and would rent again.

Stayed 3 nights in June 2023. Main house and guest house were so clean and luxurious. Felt like a brand new home. Lots to do on the huge property. Close to everything in Flagstaff but it’s a secluded cabin in the trees. James was very nice, communicative, and easy to work with. Very happy with our stay.

We had such a wonderful time at the Pink Ponderosa! Everything was just perfect… The house is very open and well appointed. Everything you need is there… We stayed with family for Thanksgiving and cooked a huge meal in the giant kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking accoutrements we needed. All we had to do was go in town for groceries… The bedrooms are very nicely decorated, and the beds are extremely comfortable! There’s ample space for multiple families with two guestrooms downstairs and a master downstairs. There’s also a “master style suite” upstairs. The garage is a kid’s dream! It is decked out with ping pong tables, a dart board, video, games, scooters for the kids, both young and old Alexa music for dance parties, and much much more! The house sits on nearly 5 acres of land, and the kids just loved being able to run around, the back patio is appointed with patio furniture and a dining table outdoors… There is also a fire pit. As if this weren’t enough, there is a beautiful guest house just steps away. It is fully appointed just like the main house. We had such a wonderful time, and will share this home with so many of our friends, as it is extremely accommodating! Thank you for such a wonderful stay, and we can’t wait to come back soon…
