Nestled in the woods, overlooking the water, 1730 Tarnhouse Lake Cottage is a three bed two bath premiere property that has all of the comforts of home and more!! One of the most amazing attributes of this charming chalet is the access to Lake Sonnenalp and close proximity to Lake Aspen. The A-frame windows lead out to a large deck with ample seating. Additionally, you'll find a firepit with chairs only a few steps away from a dock overlooking the water. Enjoy exploring the lake kayaking and spend the afternoon watching the sunset. So, it is up to you where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee or wrap up a fun-filled day soaking in Mother Nature's best work!

Upon entering this luxury getaway, you'll immediately take notice of the A-frame windows that are a signature feature at Innsbrook! They fill the main floor with beautiful natural light highlighting the magnificent floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the living room. The cozy atmosphere created by this charming fireplace is just enticing you to unwind and relax for an evening all year-round!

Steps away from the living room, you'll find a beautiful well-stocked kitchen and dining area where you can gather with family or friends for game nights or late night chats! Also on the main level, you'll find two spacious bedrooms and an elegantly updated bathroom with ample storage for your convenience. When you make your way upstairs, you'll discover a large sleeping loft, an additional bedroom and another large bathroom making this a perfect getaway for a large crowd!
No matter the time of the year, 1730 Tarnhouse Lake Cottage gives you plenty of time to enjoy life at whatever pace you choose. There is always something new to discover around the corner at Innsbrook!

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. We do have early check-in options, but cannot guarantee early check-in until the day before your stay. In order to respect the neighbors, our property owners, and Innsbrook Resort's rental policies, we do not allow large events or gatherings at our chalets (typically more than 10 people; please inquire for special concerns). For more information about this policy, please visit the FAQ section of our website.

Please note that we charge a one time $75 property damage protection fee. This is actually a damage protection policy that protects you for up to $500 worth of coverage for any damages incurred because we know that accidents can happen. Pets are welcome as well for an additional $55 per night.

The accommodations were better than the pictures. Property is very private and located on a wonderful lake. However, there was a significant amount of poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac all around the grounds. This is to be expected given the “nature” of the surroundings, but not to this level. We have stayed at other chalets and the amount of poison plants here was significant. Beware!

We had a fantastic time at Tarn House. The place is the perfect combination of rustic and modern convenience. The only issue we ran into was that there was only one chair at the fire pit. Everything else was great! The small beach meant that we could literally walk out the door and into the water. We will definitely be shopping again with VRBO and Sarah Bernard.

We all had such a wonderful time! The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans we needed to cook. Great loft area for kids to sleep in. And 2 bedrooms downstairs wer just perfect for the adults. Thanks for a great weekend

Our family had a great stay at this chalet! Everything was well-stocked and clean and was the perfect location to get to many fun activities in Innsbrook. If you are looking to be on a lake and love a wooded surrounding, then this chalet is for you! Plenty of room for the whole family.
