Karibu Cabins presents the Traveler Suite, located just off I-70 in Grandview Plaza. This stunning apartment is private enough to give you a country feel, yet just a few minutes away from the local amenities you desire. While both bedrooms boast king size beds, the master includes an ensuite and the guest bedroom features built-in twin bunks. This apartment will comfortably sleep six, and accommodate all your needs whether you are transitioning military, contract labor, or just passing through! Daily rate of $125 per night with two-night minimum. While we do love our four-legged friends, we regret to inform you that there are no pets allowed. No exceptions. We needed a place close to Ft. Riley for a quick weekend trip from Colorado. It was perfectly located for us. Kids LOVED the built in bunk beds. It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This property was an absolute blessing during our time in NE Kansas. The property is comfortable, clean, accommodating, and very well furnished. My wife and I continuously applauded the thought and effort put into the property from the beds to the recliners, to the utensils and appliances in the kitchen. We will be looking to rent this property every time we return to NE Kansas.

It was a great place to stay. Owners were helpful, friendly and easy to work with. Beds were super comfortable. Weather was cold but there were comfortable blankets and plenty of hot water. Kitchen was fully stocked with all essentials and then some. I will be back.

Absolutely great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable with lots of dishes, linens and lots of room. We were disappointed they did not accept pets as we thought we were searching only pet friendly places. That might be expedias error. But absolutely no complaints with apt. It was simply wonderful and we found a nice kennel a mile away.

We had an amazing stay, we we're on the go a lot so we didn't get to explore the area, but the stay was great. The rooms had a rustic feel with the decor and the way everything was built, but it was beautiful with all the amenities you could possibly need.

We stayed here while visiting family in Manhattan and were so comfortable! The property is immaculately clean, and the beds are amazing. Our daughter LOVED the bunk beds. Although it’s near the freeway, as soon as you close the door, it muffles the noise almost entirely. There were no noise issues at all, and getting on and off the freeway was easy. Megan was an excellent host, super communicative, and friendly. I’d recommend this place to anyone needing accommodations near Manhattan or Ft Riley!

We stayed here because just like every year for us, Family Weekend at K-State. The area hotels book up fast. This home away from home is 20 mins. from Manhattan just off of I-70, before going into Junction City. With your own large parking area outside the door of this unit. The pics online may seem pretty cool, and it is. Once you walk in, this place is totally spotless, with everything you need, down to extra toothpaste and toothbrush if needed. We look forward to staying again! Also, the communication with the owners were fast and appreciative. Dennis R

My husband said, "If you want a home away from home, this is the place! If you want an incredible, comfortable, and inviting cabin to break from the norm, this is the place. If you want a hidden gem nestled deep within the great state of Kansas, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!" We wish these owners had more rentals like this available in other states ( especially where we will travel). One can't top the how immaculately cleaned this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom rental was. Along with how pleasent our stay was the manager was just as pleasent throughout our stay. Thank you for a wonderful 6 day stay.

Wanted a place close to Ft Riley where I can attend a reunion on Milford Lake. Did not want a hotel! This place was in the perfect location for Ft Riley, and a little farther from Milford Lake, but no complaints as the accommodations made up for it all. Would stay there again as the price was no different than hotels with much more privacy and comfort. Everything you needed was there and very relaxing. Hot weekend and returning every night to a place I could walk into in 10 steps that the AC worked was right on time. Would recommend to anyone visiting that area to stay there. Great extras like Keurig, cups and shampoo/conditioner in the shower. Also hairdryer, dishes, utensils and a full sized refrigerator. I loved that we didn’t have to stay in a noisy hotel. Megan checked in via text so we had a way to contact her if we needed anything.

Very nice place! Loved the rustic decor! It was very easy checking in and out. This place had everything we needed. Loved that there was an electrical outlet wherever we needed one. Megan was very helpful with things like hiking and restaurant suggestions. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We highly recommend caribou cabin! Our large family came to town for a wedding and the accommodations fit us well. Everything was spotless and we enjoyed the rustic decorating aesthetic. Convenient location and very easy to check in/out. Clear communication with the host. Will stay there again!

First off, the owner, Ms. Megan is a very sweet individual that took care of us and our needs from a cancellation or two before until we finally were able to finally get a chance to stay here. The apartment was absolutely wonderful. We had 4 adults and two kids that stayed the weekend and although they didn’t have every appliance that I use, they had enough to take care of what we needed. My whole family from my 6 y/o granddaughter (who got the top bunk) to my wife and everyone in between loved the decor and everyone said they slept wonderful in those beds. The beds felt like they were going to be firm but they were just what everyone needed to sleep great. Thank you Ms. Megan for allowing us to rent your apartment and we will definitely be back if you’ll have us since our new born grandson is located on the base nearby.

My husband, daughter and I came back to KS to visit my family and friends and for them to do some whitetail hunting. This rental was nearly perfect. The beds are super comfy, the fact that there are 2 king sized beds was a definite plus, if we had younger children the bunkbeds would have been a big hit. The place is fully stocked, things you wouldn't even think of til you need them were already there (like paper plates, toilet paper, even k-cups of coffee!). We have rented a lot of places over the years and I have to say this has honestly been one of the best! Its close to Junction City (Starbucks is just a couple of mins away via the interstate!), Ft. Riley & Manhattan and even though it is right off the interstate, the noise was barely noticeable with the front door closed, in fact we felt like it was a fairly quiet location in spite of the interstate being right there. Next time we go back to KS for a visit, we'll definitely be renting this one again! Thank you so much Megan for such a great rental experience!!

Stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the cleanliness, the comfort and rustic atmosphere. Megan was always going overboard to ensure that whatever we needed or wanted was provided for our stay. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the showers were a nice touch, as well as the other amenities. She was proactive in making sure our laundry was done during our stay. They even brought out a Crockpot full of soup and fixed some chili for us as well. This was the best Host that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting at a rental!!! Thank you from all 3 of us old army guys.

Enjoyed our stay! Location is very convenient. If I had a negative it would be no washer /dryer. But that’s not a big issue. Loved the stay and was exceptionally clean and well maintained!!! Will be staying here again when we are in the area!!!

My family of 6 fit perfectly in this unit. 2 bathrooms was a gem! The reservation process was super easy, same with the check in and check out process. Communication was very smooth with Megan. We appreciated the top of the line kitchen items, all of the items available, the comfortable beds, and the super convenient location. It is about 14 minutes from Manhattan and 3 minutes from Junction City. Highly recommend!
