On the opposite side of Teignmouth, there are fishing boats and beach huts, as well as views of the village of Shaldon and the Dartmoor hills. Teignmouth also hosts annual folk and jazz festivals, and both the town and Shaldon host carnivals and water regattas.If you decide to travel further afield, there is plenty to see and do near Teignmouth, including the stunning Dartmoor National Park, the city of Exeter, and the nearby harbour towns.
